Do not rent from this company. We got scammed out of $1500. Terrible costumer service! The lady on the claim never would answer her phone. If we were lucky, she would email us a short and sweet message! When we did actually talk to her, she ended up hanging up on us! She ended up closing the case without talking to us and hearing our side. We did receive an email saying we would get our security deposit back and then all of a sudden we aren't. So now we are out $1500 because the guy scammed us and rvshare didn't do their job! We have rented from this guy several times but will never again after our latest experience! We have always returned the camper cleaner then we picked it up! Such as vacuuming the bunk beds because they were full of crumbs, cleaning out the fridge because there was mold, cleaned the toilet because it was disgusting which we didn't use as we were next to the shower house, wiping everything down and mopping, the list could go on but I'm sure you get the point! After we dropped the camper off, he called us a couple hours later saying the water pump was left on and a faucet must have turned on going down the road and flooded the camper.... Please tell me how this happens?!?! Mind you all the tanks were full when we picked it up and we didn't use any water. Now we are out $1500 for damage which included something with the toilet... And again we didn't use it! If this doesn't scream scammer then I don't know what does!!! Please do yourself a favor in rent somewhere else!Review from Kelsey721

Do not rent from RVShare. I have had a nightmare of an experience renting from this company. First, they flooded my inbox with promotional emails, so I missed the important one stating that my reservation had been cancelled, two months after being confirmed, because my ID was blurry. It was not blurry, which their customer service rep confirmed on the phone when I scrambled to rebook a week before my trip. Then my second reservation ID was blurry. It was not, as confirmed again, but because, they said, it was approved digitally, they couldnt approve it manually. I had to send in a passport photo. Each time I was told that my ID would be verified by the end of the day, and my trip confirmed. After five days of this, calling each day, I begged them to override their system and manually approve my ID. It was finally confirmed less than 24 hours before the trip- but not before they mistakenly called me and told me my ID was blurry AGAIN (am I being punked?)The pop-up camper I rented left us without heat for three of our five days. During those three days, the temperature dropped below freezing and we experienced an unpredicted snowfall. The owner was unfamiliar with the trailer, and we were left VERY cold. RVShare said they could not make any changes/refunds to my rental, based on this, even with the insurance I purchased. We ended our trip three days early, and I was unable to confirm the cancellation via the RVShare platform, so the ** owner called to arrange the cancellation. RVshare reached out to me to confirm, and when I did confirm, they said their team was unable to accept the confirmation and they would be contacting the ** owner. I have spent HOURS on the phone with this company. All of the customer service reps are very kind, but they have zero ability to approve or confirm ANYTHING. They go to their team, with problems, but this has done nothing. Do not rent from this company. What a trip.Review from Jace B

This was the worst ** experience I've ever had. Avoid this company at all costsit's a total rip-off. They profit from expensive insurance, which they don't disclose until after the transaction. I was shocked by the hidden fees and the lack of transparency. The ** was delivered with damages, and they tried to blame it on me despite my clear evidence to the contrary. Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. This company is not trustworthy, and their business practices are deceptive. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this rental service. Absolutely not worth it.Review from Justin A

RV Share asks for their review. Then gives the owner 30 days to claim for damages. I returned the unit to the owner. Asked if there were any issues, she said no issues. 28 days later made a claim that the handle to enter the rv was damaged. The same handle she used to enter the unit and complete her inspection while I stood there! RV share then charged my credit card because I did not have any before and after photos of the damage claims. I AM RENTING AN RV, HOW WOULD I KNOW WHAT IS BROKEN OR NOT??!! Go find another source for renting an RV.Review from Justin D

Looks like we're going to have to get a lawyer now to get our money back. We rented an ** out of state, flew in and got an hour down the road before the cabin filled with smoke. We sat 6 hours on the side of the road arguing with RVShare customer service because they said we would have the pay the labor and repair cost of the *** Furthermore, they wouldn't send out roadside service and needed to tow the ** to the closest repair shop but given the size of the ** they were having troubles finding a service truck that could make the tow. We were only in town for 4 days and already spend one day sitting on the side of the road arguing with RVShare. They said they don't have an estimated time of repair but could take a few days. So we said we are going to cut our losses and get a refund for a broke down ** and a waste of a full day of vacation because weren't not going to sit around in a hotel in the middle of nowhere for waiting on an ** to get repairs. They refused to issue a refund and said because we signed the pre-inspection which is walking around the ** to visibly inspect for damage before we drove off then we accepted the condition the ** was in. The owner of the ** was initially helpful but when quite when it came to helping us with the refund. We feel like we just got scammed out of $3k and RVShare pocketed the $800+ in insurance that covered nothing if the ** were to break down. How this company continues to do predatory business and maintain a high rating here with all these complaints is beyond me. Not sure the BBB is even here now to help protect the consumer as it is a means of providing a digital suggestion box that leads right into a shredder.Review from Elaine O

How can the BBB give this company an A+ rating with all these terrible reviews. They hide large hidden fees and requirements in their terms and conditions without being up front about it. They allow you to book and pay before they tell you that you have to give them your facial recognition identity to continue with your booking. Buyer Beware read their terms and conditions, if you don't look for it you pay for it. After booking they sent emails I could not reply to, requiring me to provide my facial recognition to verify my identity to complete my booking which I am uncomfortable with. I contacted their customer service to see if there was another way to verify my identity and I was told NO. I have to give them my facial recognition to complete my reservation. So I researched the terms and conditions of their third party *************** company they are using and found when doing the verification you are agreeing that they can use your identity for any thing they want including selling it to outside sources. So I called back to cancel and I was told that I would be charged $160.00 to cancel as it was over 24 hrs from when I originally booked even though I was never accepted. It is not the ** owner but ** Share the booking company that is the *****. Even though my reservation had never been accepted their terms and conditions state they can charge you if you cancel after 24hrs of the original request, not stating that if may not be accepted anyway. So they hook you into a contract without being upfront about their requirements or charges, and even though you are not accepted by THEM because you will not give them your **************** they charge you fees to cancel after 24hrs even though the trip was scheduled over 2 months out. These people are crooks and theives. It is not the actual people who own and rent the **s but the booking company ** Share that us scamming the unlearned buyer to rip them off.Review from LUTHER P

My wife was researching to rent an Rv and found RVShare she opened an account and after filling out all the info they wanted $30.00 more to add me as primary driver but we asked why werent we told this prior to scheduling the *** We asked how to just have me as the driver as my wife wouldnt be driving. They said we could save the charge by canceling the order and have me schedule it. BUT they would charge us $50.00 to cancel the order. I will never use this company again **** and *****Review from Bret N

Terrible experience. The camper we rented had a bunk bed that had been repaired with gorilla glue. We did not notice this the first day and it collapsed when we put our 3 year old granddaughter on it. I messaged the owner who was unresponsive. I also sent pictures to ** share who I had to contact multiple times. The ** was also full of mice. ** share still ended up charging us $600 for repairs. ** share was unresponsive difficult to work with. Even after we informed the owner ( through the ** share website) that we were ending our rental early ** share allowed the owner to mark the ** as abandoned . With no refund for unused days.Review from Joanna H

This company charged us $500 for a part that was under $20.00. They were disorganized and unhelpful during the process. The insurance they make you purchase covers nothing and should not be charged. I will never use this company again. I was very disappointed.
