Hello. Jasper is freely using my stolen intellectual property and that of millions of others as a business asset via GPT, an artificial intelligence tool. This tool was made by OpenAI, a company that is violating intellectual property rights on a nationwide (and global) scale. OpenAI (openai.com) provides software named "GPT," which is software that generates text as though a human created it. The tool was built with data from a conglomerate of stolen copyrighted articles, internet posts, web pages, and books scraped from 60 million domains (including mine) over a period of 12 years and more. TechCrunch reports this data includes copyrighted material from **** The New *********** Reddit, the full text of online books, and more.Anyone who ever published anything on the Internet anywhere, therefore, has had pieces of their content illegally collected, distributed, and sold to people using this tool. Further, the ************* **************** recently ruled that non-human expression is ineligible for copyright protection. So for those who wish to simply copy and paste the results of this tool, this new ruling means everything they create with it becomes public domain material. The company is basically taking copyrighted material and putting it into the public domain, stripping their rights away, and making millions from people who never see a dime from it.Jasper additionally serves a global audience. That means the company is selling ******** intellectual property and citizen PII to foreigners and foreign governments. I would like to see a written commitment here, on the BBB website, from you, that you will immediately intervene the use of this software in your institution, as it infringes on my intellectual property rights as a writer and privacy rights as an ********.

There is no way to cancel the 5-day trial without losing your research, work, and material created during the free trial. I have contacted the company ************************** I have been told that they do not refund annual plans past 5-days! Annual plans are billed as a whole and, therefore, non-refundable after the 5-day window. The refund policy does not state the annual plans cannot receive a refund for the months requested.I have requested the $590.00 back and declined.

Jasper AI refuses to refund a pre-paid annual subscription. - Cancellation attempt occurred shortly after the trial period ended. Jasper is incredibly hard to get ahold of. They have no customer service support phone number and they rarely respond to emails and messages (I have documentation). I sent multiple emails attempting to get a refund for a subscription I feel I was tricked into as they advertised the price per month, later I noticed I was charged a full year's worth of the service at once totaling $990. denied requests for a refund. The annual subscription was never agreed to or purchased. Jasper AI used deceptive tactics to force an unwanted annual payment.

They automatically upgraded me from a $29 a month plan to a $119 a month plan, then kept it there for about a year even though the service was only being used rarely. They auto-upgraded the plan because we went over the credit one month. However on subsequent months, we kept to the normal amount of credits.Paying a premium for the extra credits used the month that we went over would have been fine. But perpetually charging me 4x more for every month after even though the service wasn't being used is basically stealing. I do understand that they probably said they were going to do this in the fine print somewhere, but obviously the practice is still a fraudulent want to charge more money - hoping people like me with many charges coming in and out will not notice.Looks like they overcharged my by about $842 over the course of the year.

I paid $490 for the yearly membership and only after less than 6 months, I no longer can use the service and they wont refund me the money. I paid for full 1 year. They are scamming people. They tried to charge me extra over 700 dollars on my credit card without my permission. When I challenged them with it? They canceled my account and wont let me use the account that I already paid for.

I signed up for a trial period and provided my credit card details. I was disatified with the service after using it for an hour or two. I missed the trial cancellation deadline by a few days and the company are refunding to refund an annual subscription charge of $490.

Earlier this month, I signed up for the free trial to see if the ** could help we write a novel, as advertised. It's help and capabilities were sorely lacking. I attempted to cancel. I was charged anyway. I canceled a second time and requested a refund and they refused to issue it. The service is not as advertised it's capable of writing a novel for a person with no interest in reading books maybe. It composes primarily in exposition and the prose is tiresome at best. I'd like a refund and for them to stop falsely advertising the capabilities of their **.

In October 2022 (last month) I responded to an offer of a five-day free trial to the platform jasper.ai. After trialling the site over a day or two I decided that it was not for me and proceeded to cancel the free trial. I then noticed in my **************** statement a charge of $1598.52 AUD. I did not recognise the charge or the company to who it was paid to. I immediately lodged an inquiry with AMEX explaining I did not recall the charge. AMEX investigated the matter and came back to me with the details of Jasper.ai, I have attached the letter from ****************. I googled the web address to discover that it was the ** copywriting platform I had subscribed to for the five-day free trial.I then emailed Jasper.ai explaining that I had cancelled the subscription and they said "No it had not been cancelled!" The operator went on to say that they do not refund any subscription after the free five-day trail. I couldn't understand how the subscription could possibly be as much as $1598.52 and discovered that the site automatically defaults to an annual subscription, rather than the monthly option. I would describe this as unscrupulous behaviour, I can see from their website that they are a very large and successful company with clients including ******************* and so on, however, their marketing tactics are tantamount to trickery. If their free five-day trial had at its conclusion moved to a monthly subscription, that would have been more palatable, (despite having cancelled the subscription) however, to default to an annual subscription is unconscionable. Even the Cancel button which I was absolutely sure I had selected to cancel my subscription is right at the bottom of the page in small print, again an attempt for site visitors to overlook it or miss it totally. For a large and obviously profitable US company to play in this type of trickery and in turn, take advantage of both unsuspecting individuals and companies, is inappropriate at the very least.

As a graduate with a degree in literature I have to say, it must be said, that their AI at jasper.ai produces WORTHLESS writing, Why do they require their users to register in the first place? Why should their human users pay for computer-generated WORTHLESS writing?I want them to refund my subscription fee.
