I engaged Freedom Solar in Denver to sell me solar panels. On 5/4/22 I paid a deposit of 9,873.00. After calling to see status they informed me that they cannot do the project for physical reasons. I asked about refund of deposit and am put on hold for an hour. Have made numerous attempt to contact they seem to be stalling.

We chose Freedom Solar for the installation company to provide services for ** in the *********** are to undergo solar power use. This contract started Aug 1, 2021 and solar use was finally put into place June 15, 2022. We had a multitude of issues to try to get this company out here with extensive calling, emailing, and texting to check on services to be rendered. This company continued to give excuses, did not show up to provide installation 2 times after confirmation was received, and had many problems. When we had issues with the installation process, we continued to receive the run around. They failed inspection by the ******************* (CPS), inspectors two times which delayed our use of solar in the hot summer months here in ***********. Shortly after installation onto the grid, the circuit breaker for solar kept tripping and solar would be off for days and hours as there was not someone home to reset the breaker. They did repair this on July 14 , 2022, but then a solar panel went bad. Too this date, August 1, 2022, we have had no one come to check it or replace it. They kept telling us we would get a loss of production replacement check( as one excuse) because our solar system was not up and running, even though we were already paying for the loan payment. The latest they stated is I need to prove the loss of production to them and send them statements that we made payments. Now since this comes from an automatic payment from our bank this is not the easiest task. I am not that concerned about the check. My concern and compliant to BBB and to those that choose to use Freedom Solar is the lack of organization, the multiple excuses of why they could not meet their promises, the extensively long period of time solar took to install with them, the fact they failed inspection twice, and the fact once a problem arises they continue to have excuses for the issues of repair.Freedom Solar Power

Mid June my solar stopped working after a power outage at my home. I called and they had me go through a process to try and get it working again. There analysis said that it did not work and that someone would come to my home to make the repair. I have been waiting ever since. I have called both Sun Power and Freedom Solar. Sun power said the had put in the request to Freedom for the repair and had escalated the request and said someone would call me within a couple days. No one ever called. Sun Power said they were frustrated with Freedom over there inaction, but could nothing to help me. I called Freedom directly and they confirmed they had the repair request. They refused to set up a repair date and had no idea how long it might be. I called them a couple days ago and left a message that if they didn't call me back I would report them to the BBB. I have heard nothing. They also told me that there would be no reimbursement for my lost power. So I am paying monthly for a system generating no electricity. My system is barley a year old. Freedom Solar power was transparent, honest and upfront the whole process!The glass got on my roof quick, and I knew exactly where I was during the process of getting the solar on my roof.We have now had the solar from Freedom over 2 years and we couldnt be happier. After doing a lot of research I finally realized that, although the Sun Power product, itself is exceptionally good with outstanding reviews, who installs the Sun Power unit, like Freedom Solar Power, is often the problem. Sun Power has great reviews, but Freedom Solar does NOT. So, I will definitely purchase a Sun Power unit but I will NOT have Freedom Solar Power install it.Freedom Solar Power

Freedom Solar came to our rescue. Our customer service representative was *******. He followed through and was patient with all my concerns. The technician, *******, was wonderful. He was thorough, patient and professional. Our solar panels were installed by a now defuncted company. It took some time to get all the issues resolved. So, I really appreciate their assisting us. I don't know what we would have done without the service of Freedom Solar.Freedom Solar Power

Horrible customer service!!!! After installation had to pay 2 light bills for 3 months $500 and $179 for panels , months went by and again I paid $400 - $600 of light **** each month for 4 months and also the $179 for the panels each month!! This is unacceptable and Im not the only one having this issue as one of my friends is having the same problem with this company .Freedom Solar Power

I went with freedom solar because they have a good reputation for quality products. For the first couple months my sales person was very responsive. It seemed like everything was moving forward. Then I had my final inspection and was waiting for the final steps. I waited 3 weeks before I reached out to my sales person. He said he had quit because it was such a poorly run company. So I called customer service and found out that no one had done anything on my account for 3 weeks. Hopefully they will get the ball rolling again to finalize everything, but I will not recommend this company to anyone. Good product but terrible follow through.Freedom Solar Power

Horrible communication, the inspector that came to my house was asked to call me the person paying and name on everything instead talked flirted with my wife for 15 minutes in front of my cameras that I watched wile I was at work then took her to the side of the house to show her how to turn off system but where on the side of the house for a long time when I called to complain manager told me they will give me a call back in about 30 mins. it's been 2 hours and have not got a call back.when I told the manager about my complaint he said sorry but my guy would never do that but I have it all on video callthe manager ang asked for a diffrent manager and got hung up onFreedom Solar Power
