      I purchased a FLAMBEAU GRAZING DOE DECOY from the backwoods.com website on 4/3022, where it stated and still states in stock. I followed up with an email regarding my product and when it will be received as they took the money out of my account right away. It is now 10/27/22 and I have yet to receive the product, a response to my emails, or my money back. Also found out it is past CC company's refund period.

      I ordered a sleeping that was is stock according to the website on July 23rd 2022. I gave Backwoods until 9/5/2022 before I contacted them about my purchase. I asked for either a refund, or an equivalent sleeping pad. My email was not answered. I wait until 9/21/2022 to send another email. The weather is cooling down and I'm needing my new sleeping pad! Only then did I decide to look up the reviews for Backwoods. After seeing this company has a habit of taking orders for merchandise and not delivering it, I immediately disputed the charges with my bank. Backwoods is still taking orders on their website! This isn't only dishonest, but criminal if they have no intention of ever delivering goods!! I'm not sure if I'll get my money back, but I've learned a ******* Look up unfamiliar companies before giving them your money.

      I purchased an Osprey Farpoint 40 from their site on 8/14. After searching them up more it seems like everyone is having issues receiving their product and that they kept their site open after they went out of business. I have tried contacting them via the phone for the ********** store (phone line now down) phone for the corporate headquarters with no response, ******** message to the company with no response, and email with no response. I contacted backwoods paddlesports which is owned by the same company and they got back to me with the CEO's name and I have not heard back yet. Paddlesports is unwilling to help me further. I have also messaged the ceo on FB with no response either. I very much need a resolution to this asap beofr ei leave the country

      I ordered two items online from Backwoods.com totaling $53.95 after following an ad on ****** Shopping. I received an order confirmation but no tracking info. I contacted the company by email and phone when my order did not arrive in the time stated on the website and received no response. In looking at the Better Business Bureau compliant site for this company I realized this is a typical pattern over the last 11 months. I've since made a charge dispute with my credit card company.

      I ordered this Kayak backpack and never received the item. I have reached out via email twice with no response. Like others have stated, the money immediately came out of my account but I have never received the item or an update. When I check the order online it says processing but this item should have been here over a month ago at this point.       I ordered a product on Backwoods.com on April 11, 2022, order #*********. This was for a backpack, and the amount was $116.90, which was charged to my credit card that day. I received an email from them that same day confirming the order and indicating I'd receive an email with tracking number when the order shipped. I never received any follow-up email and never received the product. I have tried contacting them in all of the following ways and never spoke with a human nor received a call or email in return: * April 25th via email to ******************************************* Inquired about status of order. No response. * May 27th via email to ******************************************* Following up on earlier note. No response. * July 14th at the number on their web site (also on the credit card statement), **************. Rolled straight to voicemail; I left a detailed message, no response. * Today, August 3rd, called **************, tried other menu options including the ****************** rolled to voicemail. Did not leave another message. * Today, August 3rd, called their ********** store at ************, got busy signal. Tried again, busy signal.It wasn't until too late that I learned that there's a 60-day limit to dispute a credit card transaction, so I believe I'm out of luck there, and I'm hoping the BBB can effect a response from the vendor and help secure a refund.I have records of the emails noted above and contemporaneous notes regarding the phone call and message on July 14th; I'll attach PDF versions of these, as well as the relevant page from my credit card statement showing the charge was made. Based on comments on Backwoods's ******** page, my experience does not seem to be unique; this seems to be a fraudulent operation. I hope you can help. Thanks,***********************

      May 15th, Order #*********. I ordered two camping chairs, confirmation email sent and card charged for $189.11. I created a profile, and the order has been "processing" for 11 days. I sent an email to **************** ******************************************** on May 24th and there has been no response.

      Ordered Items on April 16th. Card was charged immediately for $300 for the items.Items NEVER received.Never heard from the company EVER again, going on 5 weeks. 6 emails to company ignored.over 30 phone calls to company ignored.Facebook and social messages, over 10, ignored. This company is a SCAM and the ************** needs to take action.
