I moved into 4475 carter creek pkwy apt 134 bryan,tx in july 2022. I moved out in January 15, 2023. I paid my prorated rent, water bill for december in january 2023. Company is now trying to over charge me again for rent and water. I have contacted them many times and visited the place many times to have the system issue resolved. Management refuses to meet with me in person. I sent this email: I called yesterday to ask if you had updated the account to the appropriate amount since we paid our last month's rent. I called again today since the portal is still not updated. No one picked up the phone. I will attach the document below that was emailed to me from our confirmation of payment. We paid $ 671.69 to move out. Please update the portal so The dirty stove, broken blind (which the faculty broke, not us, and I reported it), and water can be paid for. Also, please do not forget to readjust our deposit and the overpayment for move out, to deduct from the dirty stove, broken blind (which the faculty broke, not us, and I reported this), and water payment. The dirty stove totaled 50.00$, the broken blind totaled $80 (which the faculty broke, not us, and I reported it), and the water bill totaled $29.92. You also included move-out rent to be Monthly Rent - Posted from 01/01/ 2023 to 01/15/2023 as $612.10 and Monthly Rent - posted from 01/01/2023 to 01/15/2023 as $29.69. This in total is $641.79. Our monthly move-out of $671.69 minus the amount we actually need to move out of $641.79 equals $29.90. This means that we were overcharged a $29.90 payment. Therefore, The dirty stove, broken blind (which the faculty broke, not us, and I reported it), and water bill totaled to be $159.90. then deduct our deposit of $99.00 dollars, which would equal $ 60.90. Then deduct our overcharged amount of $29.90, which would equal $31.00. Our closing payment should be $31.00. (I sent screen shots of all information to them, delivered letter, and even called and email)

Rent ($1055.00) was withdrawn from my account for December rent on 11/30/2022. This was an automated payment set up through the portal provided by the apartment complex. On 12/13 we were informed the complex did not recieve the payment. I paid through a new portal The Element directed me to. They agreed to waive the late fees. The Element told me the property management company (************) would refund the origianl payment. I have contacted both The Element at University Park and ************ repeatedly, but have been unable to get a refund
