    My Fiancé and I purchased our home in June of 2022, On May 1st of 2022 a storm cane through the town I live in and damaged the window that faces south. We bought the home with the company making guarantees and promises of fixing the window, I write this January 19, 2023 and it still hasn’t been fixed. We have attempted to contact the company many times, and we we’re either redirected or told Shane would give us a call. Shane still hasn’t called and now the company proceeds to ignore our phone calls. We have even emailed multiple people at red homes and have received little or no communication back. The room the window is in is used as an office by my Fiancé and it gets cold in there. This is not only a safety hazard because the sharp glass of the shattered window is still there, it is also a health hazard. Straight up, this company has no communication about anything, not to the buyers, not to each other, nowhere.

    Unfortunately the insurance process and the ordering of a new window took a very lengthy amount of time. Within a few days of the original complaint the window came in and we have since replaced the window for the homeowners. Again we apologize for any inconvenience for the homeowners.

    A property was build behind mine in a newly developed area and it was know prior to my purchase that a fence would separate my backyard and theirs. With that being said their backyard is 18" higher than mine so there is no privacy for them or myself but what makes matters worse a retaining wall was not put into place to prevent their lawn from collapsing my fence. Also if repairs are ever to be made it would be impossible due to the fact the fasteners for the fence are buried under their yard because of how the fence was initially constructed. At one corner of the 2 properties the ground sets almost half the height of the fence on the neighbors side. I had reached out to RedHomes by telephone, text and their website they designed specifically for owners request for repairs, and it took about 2 months for them to tell me they could do nothing about the fence. The city approved curb height in relation to foundation and proper drainage which I understand but knowingly damaging my fence with high probability of premature rotting because of the difference in backyard dirt/sod is negligence on RedHomes or the contractors involved.

    Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/09/15) */ After accessing the situation and bringing a city inspection official out to the property, it was determined that no further adjustments to the fence or grade were needed during the construction of the neighboring property. We have communicated this same response to the homeowner through the homeowner's realtor. We will check into why the communication wasn't realized or seen through our warranty portal. We have multiple subs and would be willing to give their contact information if the homeowner would like to make modifications to his property.
