I inquired about a 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor that was in production and paid my $500 deposit. I was told if I decided I did not like the vehicle once I seen it, my deposit would be refundable.

I purchased a used vehicle in March 2022. A white ford focus 2014 Se. $3000 down on the spot. I mentioned to the salesman that the 2014 Ford Focus models have a history of transmission problems but he assured me that the vehicle has been serviced and no problems should persist going forward. I had the car for less than 3 months before transmission problems occurred. I returned the car to them for service in May and they serviced the vehicle and said that it was fixed and I picked it back up. The EXACT same issue started in less 20 miles after picking the vehicle back up. So I returned the car to them to fix again they have had it ever since. This was almost 4 weeks ago. Ford offers no rental, or loaner vehicles and no timetable for when I receive my vehicle back. My girlfriend was reimbursed $400 from a crappy car lot on the side of the road for when her vehicle had issues but FORD(one of the biggest companies in the United States) can't give me anything it seems. Their employees never answer the phone and they never return calls. July 1st, 2022, I was fired from my job for lack of reliable transportation, so this has affected me immensely. Today July 15th I called and spoke with Kevin and told him about me losing my job, he told me I should sue Ford. He works for Ford and even he said I should sue. It's embarrassing. I can't believe they are so incompetent.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/08/08) */ We are saddened to hear of his employment status. In this time of Chip shortages, all business, and especially the automotive parts business is adversely affected. In general, We try to ensure that all of our customers receive an answer. Some answers are not well received. In this case, our Director of Fixed Base Operations and Service Advisor have talked with the customer. Since that time, the message is the same. The Ford Motor Company does not have the part and an available date is not posted. This part is the #1 Part delayed with Ford with over 52,000 on back order. As a Dealer, we cannot manufacture the part. That message was communicated by the Director and by our Service Advisor. We remain open to discussion with the customer.

Purchased a 2016 F150 Lariat 4X4 back in November 2021. As I was signing the ppwk, dealer told me the previous owner wants his tires back. As he came back with more of the sales paperwork, they tried to charge me $3,000 for new tires. I said no I shouldn't have to pay for tires, and they took off the charge but I still had to pay for the TMPS sensors. $120 Truck was delivered to my house and battery was dead in the morning. My salesman told me he would come out and fix the issue. When I got home from work my truck still wouldn't start. My wife informed me our salesman jumped it and drove around for a while and he told her that I had to go out and purchase a battery in which I would get reimbursed for. A few weeks later my truck started shaking down the highway out and my check engine light came on. I took it to a local shop to get scanned and it was a misfire code and an exhaust code. I notified the dealership and when I brought it in, they said they will correct the issues. They only replaced 1 spark plug and referred me to a muffler shop in Lewisville. On my way to my deer lease my truck started shaking again and the engine light came on again. I told the dealer and they said they can't get to it for about four weeks. So, I had to take my truck to the local ford dealer to pay $600 for spark plugs to be put in because Sam P*** only did one of them. I had to take my truck to the muffler shop three times to get the exhaust code taken off. Beginning in April my truck started making a winding up noise on acceleration, so I took it to a local shop and found out the exhaust manifold was missing bolts and had severe rust causing damage to other surrounding parts. The shop had me priced out at $6,200 for all the work to be done. Back when I was buying the vehicle, I checked the Carfax which I noticed it came from Canada, I asked my salesman to ensure there was no rust during their inspection in which he said no rust all good to go.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/05/12) */ Hello ***** *****, we sat down and talked just a couple of days prior to this being filed and while we were in my office you said more than once that you knew you bought this truck "AS IS" and whatever I could do to help would be appreciated. I turned in a warranty cancellation for the full amount of the warranty and did not prorate the elapsed time and you were very thankful. It looks like even after selling a AS IS vehicle we through in tires, replaced the battery and replaced a spark plug. All things we didn't have to do but wanted to show that we cared, again we spoke a couple of days prior to this and even gave a 100% refund in warranty. I think we have done much more than any other dealer in town would have ever of done. You have my cell# give me a call if you would like to discuss further
