I recently had the displeasure of purchasing a Polaris Ranger from Ogden Powersports of Conroe. This company sold me an ATV with a an extended warranty, which they did not honor. We purchased the Polaris Ranger in 2020 and within a few days, the Ranger started having issues with starting and stalling out. We loaded the Ranger up at least two times to take back to Ogden for repair, which they obviously did not repair correctly as the issue returned. I let them know that I saw sludge in the air filter that did not appear to be correct and their explanation was it was just grease. Fast forward to July 2021, The Ranger finally would not start at all, so we had to load up once again and take back into the dealership. Ogden, told me that they found metal shavings in the oil and that this would be a warranty claim, so the sent to their Huntsville location. After being in the shop for 2 months, they informed me that I need to pay them an additional $600 dollars to “clean” the engine, so they could get the warranty company to approve the claim. The warranty company denied the claim, so Chris (Owner) told me that I would have to pay an additional $2,500 because the warranty was denied. Chris implied on the phone that I waited two years to report the issue (which was incorrect) and accused me of not replacing the oil (Which I have receipts for the oil changes), he was looking at the wrong record. Being out of options, I told Chris, I approve the repairs. They kept the Ranger for an additional two months (So they had the Ranger for nearly 4 months providing me little or no updates). But it gets better, I finally drive over an hour away to pick up the Ranger and guess what? I get it home and it will not start. That’s right, it would not start! So we sent videos to Ogden and they told us they would come pick up the Ranger on Monday. Monday rolls around and they did not show, would not return our phone calls. I left multiple messages for Chris (the owner), however he refused to return my call. In summary, you will have buyers remorse if you purchase a vehicle from this company!
