****** and Olympia construction were hired to ************** my home on 1-3-2022. The scope of work was to lift my home 3 feet above grade with use of beams to run across the house and use of jacks to not cause any unnecessary damage, install new beams and pour new piers and footings. all which was to be windstorm approved and certified. Leading up to 1-3-22 we cleared out our home and moved into an temporary apartment, so that we are not in the way of the workers. On the first day ****** comes and starts working without any contract in place and ask for the down payment, at that time I requested a written contract and he replied that we can do the deal on a handshake. Fast forward to a contract in place and me giving him a down payment, work gets started and I find out that he doesn't own the beams he said he would use to lift me house, with my hand tied I allow him to continue, damage was done to the walls, windows, doors and my house now has a twist to it due to the method they used to lift. Piers were poured after many delays of his workers not showing up only to find that 3/4 of the hold down straps where not install, when I asked him to correct his mistake, his solution was to have his workers drill a 1/2 inch deep hole and epoxy all treads in that snapped off with little force applied. In some areas there are piers that are in the wrong place and also some areas there are up to 3inchs of wooden shims that are in direct contact with the concrete piers which will absorb moisture and rot. ****** and his company left over 20 old piers around the property which was in his scope of work to dispose of them. He called and asked for more money to finish the job which I gave him a small installment hoping he would finish to only have his crews show up a couple more times. To top it off i now have $1800 in electrical repairs due to the negligence of his company. Now 2 months over schedule Olympia Construction and ****** has resorted to ignoring my calls and text.
