I selected a 2WD Frontier for a purchase price of $38485 however when the time came to pay for this pickup the price had jumped to $41180. I told the salesman and finance office I do not like surprises and they tried to explain to me there was an added option on this truck that included ( from what I understood) clear coat additive on the paint, tinted windows, life time key protection and nitrogen in the tires. There may have been more but I have yet to see exactly in writing whatever is included in this option.I remembered the salesman mention a couple of these items as were looking at the truck but the near $3000 price increase was NEVER mentioned. Also as we were looking at the truck he mentioned several features that were included one of which was automatic braking in case a person walked in front of the vehicle. It was later determined this truck does not have that system installed, however the sticker sheet and the info on the dashboard states other wise. I will admit the salesman was very apologetic about the added option however I have the feeling both he and the finance offer have encountered this misunderstanding before on many occasions. I was told this Option was added to all of their new vehicles, but an Option should be a buyers decision not the sellers.Reluctantly, I paid for the truck even though I saw holes in the Option story. Every vehicle I had bought in the past ***** years had the clear coat applied at the factory, and I found out later, as did, Nissan products come with their tires filled with nitrogen. I am only guessing the tinted windows were also factory installed . As I left the dealer the very first time I say the posted speed limit flashed in my dash board. I had never had, seen or even heard of this function before I really liked it however the next day when It didnt display the signs I thought it must have something to do with the way city signs were painted but after checking my owners manual it shows this feature was not even instBusiness response

************** visited our store on Monday, November 7th and met with our General Sales Manager *********************** to review his concerns. We reviewed the sales documents which detailed the protection package that was added to his Nissan and is a standard package we add to our new Nissans due to the harsh conditions here in our area. These amounts were also reviewed during the sales process and document signing when ************** took delivery.
We also offered to support ************** with any concerns he wished to express to Nissan in the discussion of features on his Frontier. The options vary by trim level. We will assist ************** in communicating his concerns to Nissan.

I am rejecting this response because: The mentioned package should be a customer's decision, not the dealers. the price was well hidden until the actual paying process. With the exception of the clear coat protection that *** have been done here, every other item on this list was either factory installed so it actually boils down to mandatory protection. i informed the sales manager i shall never buy another nissan productt from them.
