This company failed to process a prescription for Humira which resulted in a delay of 20+ days of Express Scripts even receiving the supposed prescription on file. I had to contact my doctor's ****** multiple times to ensure the prescription had been written because Senderra dropped the ball. They processed a prior authorization, but did not pass on the actual prescription to Express Scripts to be sent out. The prescription was sent to them on 1/27, yet Express Scripts called me today and did not have it on file but did have the prior authorization. I had to have my doctor's ****** at Texas Orthopedics send in a new prescription because of the incompetence and medical negligence of this company. I will be filling a formal complaint and continue to pursue this, you should be ashamed.Business response

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to reply. We respect and value each patient, and we apologize for not meeting this patients expectations. We received the patient's prescription, and we were working within the guidelines provided by the patients insurance company regarding the prior authorization of certain specialty medications. We also respect and value the prescribing physician's office, work alongside them throughout the process for each patient script, and keep them informed. Occasionally, due to insurance mandates, higher than normal script volumes, or awaiting response from outreach attempts, we experience minor delays. We hold our relationships with our patients and providers in high regard and continue to work to provide the best service and outcomes.

I am rejecting this response because: Because of Sender's negligence and delay, I have fired my rheumatologist and now owe over $4000 because of Accredo and Express Scripts not running my co-pay card. This all began with Senderra's negligence and inability to forward my prescription in a timely manner to Accredo and Express Scripts. Not only will I not be receiving my medication on-time, but I will be stuck with a bill for over $4k. How dare you. You are an unethical pharmacy and deserve to be shut down. I hope someone files a class action lawsuit against you immediately. Texas Orthopedics has placed blame on you for not following through and essentially lying about not forwarding the prescription to another speciality pharmacy. Why was your pharmacy so incapable of filling my prescription in the first place? This business is garbage and needs to be sued.

As we shared in our previous response, we were unable to fill the prescription based on the patients insurance plan design. We transferred it to the mandated specialty pharmacy as soon as possible. We have communication from the physicians office that we did nothing wrong and work alongside them to best serve their patients. We cannot control what the specialty pharmacy that can/did fill the patients script does regarding their processes, copay assistance, or billing/delivery.Business response

Senderra specialty pharmacy is incapable of fulfilling a prescription that requires working with copayment assisting programs. Senderra has received my insurance approval for Orencia, has in fact billed my insurance more than twice to later reverse/reimburse claim. Senderra has failed to contact/bill my co-payment assistance program insurance. Myself, and my doctors office has repeatedly contacted this pharmacy as well as my advocate from Orencia to no success. Its been over 2 weeks and Im just getting the runaround. Im a patient in need of this medication. Senderra needs to get competent and knowledgeable staff to handle this type of claims. I need a resolution to this matter asap. They can claim to be able to process this type of claims and be clueless to bill copayment assistance programs.
