On dates November 23, 2023 and January 8, 2024 I entered into a consumer credit transaction with Resource One CU. The amounts extended from my Estate were for $13,000 total combined. I did not receive interest owed to me in return. According to the powers and duties of banks; the bank is the borrower, I am the creditor. However, that credit was not extended to me after 3 attempts to Tender the payment by way of Indorsement (1/22/23, 1/30/23, 2/23/24) sent to ***, *************************** via certified mail. Also an email was sent on February 26, 2024. The nature of this dispute is notice to file a claim against Resource One CU &/or ***************************, *** for either Breach of Contract, Breach of Fiduciary Duty or Discrimination; as the *** of your bank has not acted in my best interest as Fiduciary on my behalf as the ******* Reserve Agent or has discriminated against me due to credit when credit is not a factor in the decision to extend me my credit. According to the ******* Reserve Act section 16, 1 & 2; My Rights have been violated and I Object to the Adverse Action notices which only shows proof that my application was Accepted and Approved. Resource One Credit Union contacted a third party collection agency, who appeared at my door multiple times in person, regarding an alleged "past due" amount under $150 on an auto loan that had been paid by two insurance companies as a result of an auto accident caused by another driver. There was a large payment made by ********************* and another payment made by a gap insurance policy. This third party collection agency presented a letter to me that showed the name of another individual (*************************) on my account. I do not know *************************, and I am not related by blood or marriage to *************************. In addition, this individual showing up at my door on a Sunday afternoon (1/28) and later (2/1) caused significant anxiety in my immediate family not only because of the manner in which he approached our house and my son and wife but also due to another person's name appearing on the letter. By the time this person showed up at our house we had less than $50 left to pay on the auto loan AND that is with quite a bit of confusion as the gap insurance was supposed to pay the remaining principal balance. Even after Resource One stated that the third party collection company was contacted IN ERROR by a new employee of Resource One and that the name ************************* was also listed on the referral to the third party IN ERROR by the new employee, the pattern continued!!! I first contacted Resource One on 1/29 and received confirmation of the error on the same dates. I told Resource One that I did not want to see this individual appear at our house again. But it happened AGAIN on 2/1. Another letter naming ************************* and me together as borrowers. Even after a final payment of less than $3 was made to take care of this residue from the insurance claims.Initial Complaint

On 1/5/24 I spoke with Resource One regarding a restricted account. I was told by the agent that my account could not be unrestricted due to my loan being over 30 days past due. I was then advised that my loan has to be under 30 days in order to gain access back to my account (debt card, transfers etc). I agreed to make a payment that day that would put my loan under 30 days. I was then told I had to make another payment by 1/8/24 or my loan would be over 30 days again and my account would be locked again. After further review of my account the same day (1/5/24) I noticed the actual 30 **** for my loan would actually fall on 1/9/24 which was the original day I advised I would like to make a payment on the loan when I first called in. I go to make a payment on my loan on 1/9/24 and my account is locked. I cant transfer funds to make a payment. I cant use another form of payment (a different bank) to make a payment and on top of that they reported a late payment on my credit report that took my credit score down 30 points because of them not allowing me to pay my loan on the 30th day 1/9/24. I would like them to remove the late payment report from our credit score and give better access to paying my loan.Initial Complaint

I did upgrade my regular R1cu credit card for the R1curewards credit card and the credit department forgot to cancel the other Account, on January ******** Equifax and Transunion alert me about a drastic change on my credit score cause R1cu report that I stopped paying my first card that was supposed to be canceled at the moment of the upgrade, my credit score lost 130 points cause that, I did call R1cu many times and finally they told me that they find the problem but unfortunately they cant do anything to correct the damage, I been trying to find a solution /, but unfortunately R1cu runs on circles and my frustration and impotency are growing with the time cause more time pass more damage to the credit, I been a customer since 2018 and never have missed a payment, R1cu has been a deception and has damaged my credit badInitial Complaint

I have been cut off from my account. I don't have a card. Received a $35.00 fee because I couldn't do anything online. Went to branch waited over an hour. Several customers complained about not having received card. Name was taken down and told that I would be contacted around 3 if my card was located at another branch but they fee wouldn't be waived. Heard absolutely nothing back and still no update about a card. I called the call center who had an 17hr wait just to be told they had no information and to visit a branch. How can a business operate like this and think it's ethical. Clearly this process was flawed and they are taking zero percent responsibility.Business Response

I have reached out several times with no luck regarding a last payment confirmation. The company seems to want the payment to bounce so that they end up likely profiting from the contract $2k. Upon reopening a bank account with ********************** I was made aware of a balance and that it had to be paid. It was and I was made aware that my account would be reviewed in 3 months to remove the $20 monthly fee that it was being charged. This never took place. In July of 2022 I was made aware I still had this balance. I paid the balance again and was made aware that my account would be changed. It wasnt. I spoke with a representative in May of 2023 and it was verified that the account was paid but my account was never changed and I had been charged this entire time. I recently went to open a business account and was made aware that the past due balance is still showing on my **** systems. I requested it be fixed and I be refined for the payment I made on the account that I should not have been charged. I was made aware that because it was past three months I could receive no compensation. I am requesting a refund for the money that the bank has stolen from me and to have my information escalated to be removed from **** systems records.Customer Answer

Resource One did a upgrade system 4 months. Since this upgrade Resource One start charge me insufficient charge fees for payment out of my saving account. Before the upgrade all my payment came from my checking account. The system upgrade swap my checking account number somehow. ******************** one reverse the fee for the 1st 2 months , now the are refuse to reverse fee. I should be charge for something I had a fault in. Its crazy because every transaction I have the funds in my checking account to cover any payment. However , since Resource One **** up my accounts they blame me and want me to pay unfair fees. My account # is *******. This is sad because ******************** One was 1 of the best Credit Union out there. Its seem now they are trying to steal hard working people honest money.Business Response
