    I sent credit associates $14,000 to handle my credit issues they did not perform as well as I thought they would so I canceled and they will not return my money

    I have been receiving phone calls from them repeatedly for services I did not require, request, or engage. When I attempted to go to the website listed on their letter, ******************** I was given warning messages by my administrator.I would like them to take my phone number ************ and above mailing address out of their records permanently.

    Contacted the business on or around Sept 24, 2024 regarding changing the banking account information on my account, as I had changed accounts per THEIR recommendation. This had created an overdraft of the previous account, and the person I spoke to assured me that they would credit my account the amount of the overdraft after I provided a screen shot of the banking page, which I did while on the phone with them. He went on to further add that in light of this overdraft he was going to push the next debit to October 22, 2024 With this knowledge there was no money in that drawing account for this month, yet the company proceeds to withdraw 300 dollars from an account without permission overdrawing YET ANOTHER ACCOUNT and a $ ***** over draft fee in the new bank.when I contacted the company on Monday Oct 1, I was put through to a "supervisor" who spent the entirety of the call explaining how it was my fault for not telling them to stop after spending well over an hour on the phone doing exactly that.I requested a different higher level supervisor, and was basically given the "we'll call you back" answer and was never contacted again.This is unprofessional in an extreme, and a company that the business is rebuilding credit and negotiating settlements with credit card ************* can anyone have any faith in a company that treats clients like this?

    I spoke with ******** today 10/8/24 the "refund" was as expected incomplete.

    Oddly, they were no longer able to simply refund the amount owed, as there was now a BBB complaint in place

    regardless of the fact that there was a complaint in place when they refunded the partial amounts earlier, so this does not match with reality in the slightest.

    I was told that the balance due $ ****** would be "requested" and if granted I would be issued a paper check in approximately 10 to 14 days, "maybe".

    I still contend that the entirety of the money was over drafted illegally and refunded in pieces is disingenuous at best, while technically it is a refund it is being processed by **** apparently.

    I will continue to wait for them to do the right thing, despite the fact they have shown zero regard for legality or even being polite about how they rip you off.

    I started this program because I wanted to save money on the $15k in credit card debt that I have. I trusted what they told me on the phone & what their site advertises as savings for clients. I was told I would save at least 50% of the debt I owed. They never explained the cost of their services. I have 7 accounts. It took them 13 months to make settlement offers on the 7 accounts. I have contacted them several times. Many times they have me on hold for 20 minutes then I get a voice-mail. I have talked to 2 senior account executives who have laughed at me on the phone and said they are not debt consolidation but debt settlement. I have told them that was not explained in the beginning. Then I explain that my starting GOAL was $8500. I reached that, they changed the number, I reached the next goal, they changed it again, I reached that goal...they are telling me after I have paid them over $11k in 14 months that my enrollment was for 15 months and now they are a hardship program. They have told me countless times that I just don't understand the program and how a settlement company works. I owed $15k and they want MORE than that to settle my accounts plus their fees. This was the WORST decision I have ever made in my life. I have worked countless days to pay EXTRA payments to get the debt paid off. I have now hit rock bottom and been crying day after day. I am on disability and I have not even been able to live on my own due to these payments and now my credit score is terrible. On 9/30, my global savings had over $3,700. On 10/1, it has $2,100. But not one more of the 7 accounts has been paid. I just checked my credit score & one of the cards has now went to collections so they aren't helping me at all. They have not saved me any money. They have ruined my life the past 14 ************ so suicide that my **************** that I couch surf at, won't leave me alone. I feel so ashamed of this decision. Why would anyone get insulted & pay MORE than the total debt?

    I do not agree with the $1,000 payment that Credit Associates sent me. I was in the hospital, which they knew, and they decided to issue a check for $1,000. 

    My TOTAL debt with 7 accounts was $15,000! I have now paid this company over $12,000! They are a SCAM. I was told, and you can see on their website that they are looking to "help" people save HALF of their debt. My original GOAL of $9,500 was met with the company months ago. They continue to tell me that I don't understand the program. I understand perfectly that they are not doing what they promised to do. And they are now making threats that if I don't make a payment (since I was in the hospital-I don't have any money) my accounts will default. At this point, I can't pay they OVER the total of my original debt amount. I don't have money to pay them - I will not continue to put my health at risk because of them. They have caused me way too much stress. 

    please do something to help me with this matter. I'm begging you.

    I have been trying to contact Credit Associates for over three weeks now. I have called probably over 100 times. I have left countless voicemails, and have also emailed with zero replies. They have control over my bank account and have been continuing withdrawals. I have no idea how to contact these people. I have already filed a fraudulent claim with my bank, because I have been trying to pause payments for over three weeks now. They have thousands of dollars from me, as of now none of it is accounted for because I cannot contact a single person.

    Non stop robo calls from several different numbers. Block one and you get 5 more. Letter comes in mail to go to 800 # *************) and asks for a reference number, there isn't one on the paper. Going to the website ******************** sends ****** into a tailspin of warning messages. This is NOT a legitimate company, 100% fraud.Credit Associates ******************************************* "If you do not want to receive offers from us, go to ******************** or call toll free at ************ or write to "Credit Associates Opt-Out Request" (above address). This offer is not guarenteed if you do not meet our criteria.

    I was not fully aware of process and my credit cards company calling me and credit associates will not answer my phone calls. I have made numerous calls and after waiting an hour phone just hangs up.

    After I told this party to delete record and cease contact, they sent another marketing letter, stating second notice, which was received US Mail September 7, 2024. This letter was addressed to a parent who has never lived here. They obviously expect me to deliver this marketing offer under the authority of family. This offer is also deceptive as they call themselves a "federally regulated" debt relief program. The term was used to make it appear this is an offer or supported or supervised by government authority. This is really a cold call marketing offer, not a specific offer from a credit card company and they do not even know if this party has outstanding debt. The attached notice requests deletion of all personal record. The following was noted in their communication sent August and September 2024: **************************************** and **************************************. I would like them to destroy all record and cease contact. Attached is the latest deletion request, September 7, 2024.
