1 starThe dentist quoted ***** worth of work for myself and my two sons. We had been there 6 months before for our cleaning and did have some cavities that needed to be filled. Then, at the next visit the dentist said my sons needed several caps, and possible root canals. I was totally confused as to how their teeth had gone so horribly wrong in 6 months. We went for a second opinion and they said we didnt need any caps or root canals. We also found out the two I need were done my Mint at our last appointment and that meant they werent covered by insurance at all. Did mint tell me that? No! The second opinion dentist told us the work we needed would be around 900. This is vastly different from what Mint told me. Do no to go Mint, unless you want to pay for unnecessary work.Review fromMichael A

1 starDuring my last visit, the orthodontist misrepresented my concerns to the office manager, unfairly portraying me as a disrespectful black man rather than addressing my legitimate questions about my treatment. It seems that unless a patient is overly enthusiastic about their service, their concerns are dismissed.When I questioned why gaps in my teeth were not initially addressed in my treatment plan, the orthodontist deflected responsibility instead of providing a clear answer. Instead of acknowledging an oversight, I was met with dismissive explanations:I have never no-showed an appointment, except once due to an ER visit. That only accounts for ****** have always notified the office if I needed to reschedule.Despite spending thousands of dollars, I still have noticeable gaps in my front teeth that were never properly addressed.I was charged an additional $1,500 for treatment that should have been completed under my original plan I've had at least five different orthodontists here. One was so loud and condescending that I had to request she be removed from my case. The new orthodontist never introduced herself and dismissed my concerns, responding with, So are we doing this or what? That level of disregard for a paying patient is unacceptable.When I asked to escalate my concerns to the owner, the front desk staff was dismissive and refused to facilitate proper resolution. Instead, I was told, The manager is busy, but I can give you his number.Does **** Orthodontics have a formal process for handling customer complaints? I previously complained about another orthodontist, yet no one from management contacted me.Why am I being charged more for unfinished treatment with no clear explanation?I have raised concerns about two orthodontists, yet corporate has not reached out. That is not professionalism.I expect transparency, accountability, and a response from someone at Mint Orthodontics who is willing to address these issues properly.Review fromRain J

1 starNo. Terrible experience. After asking questions about the services and what's included in the plan, I decided to move forward based on the information provided by the *** who scheduled the appointment as well as the staff in the office. I mentioned the advertisement of a whitening kit provided on the visit and was told it would be provided by staff. After the dentist spent 5 minutes in the room with me...I asked again about the whitening kit and was told that it wasn't that strong and would only lighten teeth a couple shades but not the filling in front. I didn't mind that because I was only concerned about a little whitening to help with coffee stains.After the front desk secretary went over the thousands of dollars I would have to pay to finish treatment...I told her I will make appointments at a later time when I was p***ared to pay for the first treatment. I asked for the whitening kit and it was not provided.This is the kind of office that is money hungry and will lie and say anything to get you in the seat.Just be mindful, in my opinion, the money is more important than them caring for your teeth.I asked for a refund due to the false advertisement and deception of three dentist....I was then directed to speak with patient feedback team, who seems to be one person named. ******. ****** provided partial info, not prompt to call backs, was misleading, and rude. The customer ********** terrible and has caused me a considerable amount of stress. I want my $150 refund for this dental membership and ****** gave me the impression that I would get it. Instead, they mailed me a check for $50 and mailed me another person's refund check. The terrible customer service and incompetence, along with the false advertisement is *************'s no wonder they have lawsuits and many complaints surrounding this same issue.Review fromMICHAEL T

1 starI had an initial cleaning appointment. It was the worst cleaning I've ever had. She was finished in about 15 minutes. No Fluoride treatment at the end. The clinic was loud and not very professional. It was not a good first impression. Will not be returning!Review fromMarissa D

Mint dentistry and whatever finance company they use has consistently withdrawn money from my account fraudulently. This past summer, I allowed a friend to use my card for a one time payment which was supposed to be removed thereafter. However, this did not occur! I am beyond upset that a company cant follow directions and continue to use fraudulent practices causing my bank account to be compromised. I have proof that I reached out to my bank and finance company to resolve the issue that still has NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I am not a customer of Mint Dentists and want them to Stop taking money that does not belong to them. I will be seeking legal advice as this is unacceptable and predatory.Mint Dentistry

They found out what my insurance would pay for and charged it up. Then at the end of the visit still in pain I asked about it? He said it was bad, i need a root canal. What took so long? He said the tooth is cracked. The front desk said the cavity was too big. So which is it? Not ever going back! The cleaning was good.Mint Dentistry

Miss leading information. Went in for cleaning & free whitening. They gave me shots to deaden to clean one side of my teeth. Said I had to comeback for the other half. Took excessive X-rays. They billed my insurance for $1700+ $ from insurance. All this for simple cleaning. This is wrong.Mint Dentistry

I tried to prevent from giving a bad review but Im mentally drained and beyond disappointed in the choice I made to go to Mint dentistry. I had 14 teeth extracted paid the out pocket balance upfront not pay arrangements, received my temps, the 1st ******* told me that I she wasn't going to adjust them for me, and suggested I pay for implants. Which was beyond rude, So I transferred to a different location, did a few adjustment and then received a quote on my perms, paid for those upfront as well. When they came back the bottoms were all wrong, my top teeth were too small, and 1 tooth was bigger than the other. My bottom were sent back immediately, to whereas I had to wear a permanent top and a temp bottom denture, let me remind you they are 2 completely different colors. So in the midst of the perms being totally incorrect, my ******* went on vacation for a month which means my case was never sent off. Which I had to wait another month until she returned, this was in ****** **** been to get several fittings, and they still can't get it right. This has caused me to become so depressed, to whereas I don't attend my Childs games, go to daycare etc.. Its not like they're waiting on a payment there paid in full. Ive also reached out to another ******* office about 2mths ago, because I felt like mint dentistry couldn't get it right I was quoted ***** because my insurance was already filed for the year. Its too close to the holidays for me to feel so down in the dumps. I tried calling internal patience service maybe someone will relay this review to the CEO... The are not delivering sufficient satisfactory to there patients, I wouldn't recommend ANYONE....Mint Dentistry

Will not go back after being with them for about 3 yrs. Was put with an inexperienced assistant to take X-rays. He had to do about 6-7 redos because he was not ready for prime time. I do really want to be the person that he is practicing on when it comes to radiation. Couldnt even put the lead apron on correctly. Then the dentist comes in. Says something about a potential deeper cleaning needed but it needed to be looked at and confirmed. Wouldnt that be her job to discern? I was immediately suspicious because my teeth have remained the same for years and I havent changed anything about my dental hygiene which is thorough. The hygienist mumbles something vague about deep cleaning. I made him confirm nothing has changed about my X-rays from the last 2 yrs Ive been going there. Then the office mgr brings in a consent form they want me to sign saying I am declining their suggested dental care. I said why would I need to sign something that I dont really need. I asked to speak to the dentist and she finally comes in saying they made a mistake. I dont think this was a mistake. I think it was trying to get a way to charge my plan more money if I would have said sure, do it. Super unprofessional. Be wary.Mint Dentistry

1 starI was just at mint dental yesterday dr *** is the dentist that worked on my teeth he pulled two teeth molars he was so rough and he said he filled 5 teeth one tooth is now longer and the one that had the cavity still has it he left the filling material all bumpy in my mouth and he gave me no pain medicine at all and my tooth was infected bad when I came there this was the worst dental work I've ever had done do not go here they are horrible
