Unreal! As a business owner, I am appalled! This shady company called us and attempted to "verify our address and business info". This company uses this method as a way to scam unsuspecting business owners and workers. Two weeks later our company received an invoice for the same $583.95 as others are sharing. We are not paying this fraudulent bill. We would like to make sure this is not charged to our business and then wish to have no further contact with Business White Pages. We undoubtedly believe, that if the opportunity had been given we would have amicably resolved these concerns expeditiously, as our aim is to provide all customers with full satisfaction.
At this time the necessary steps have been implemented to immediately resolve this complaint;the invoice has been cancelled and the company has been removed from our contact lists. There will be no future communications with the company. We hope this will be regarded as a satisfactory resolve to the customer and this complaint.

We received a phone call asking to verify contact information for the company so it could be printed in the white pages. This was done. ****** was repeatedly told that we would not be paying for any product and the caller verified it was just for printing verification no financial obligation. Two weeks later our company received an invoice for the same $583.95 as others are sharing. We are not paying this fraudulent bill. We would like to make sure this is not charged to our business and then wish to have no further contact with Business White Pages. They are using deceptive practices to make money.Business response

I received a phone call in May asking me to verify the company information. So I verified. The next thing I know is I receive an invoice for $583.95. No "services" were mentioned as well as any fees. This company is a scam company. I am NOT paying this invoice. I will contact them as well.Business response

I have tried to be updated on white pages. My account will not allow me to update my listing. Actually I want to be listed in white pages. They will not help by their phone number **********. I have also messaged them thru their website. Yet, they have my credit card info & tell me I can only research other people. I deserve some positive name information on the internet. Someone has removed everything but my one negative with a real bad picture, which, should be removed.Business response

This company called to request a verification of address information for our daycare. Seemingly no big deal. Then proceeds to call back, email and request payment of $583.95 because we renewed a listing. Coercive and deceptive and misleading communications as if we are delinquent and payment is now due.. payment was made unknowingly by one of my employees. If a refund is not issued, I will be disputing the charge as fraudulent business activity.Business response

November 15th, I requested an enhanced background check, for $149.68. The message after purchase displayed is the court runner takes 1- 3 days to complete. I have been waiting two weeks and still no report. There is no contact information for White Pages to discuss. There is no email address either.I would like to get a refund.Thank youBusiness response

We received a phone call to verify our business name, address and phone number for the Business White Pages. We received a disc and an invoice for $583.95. Someone from their organization named **** continuously emails and now calls to get this invoice paid, all we did was verify our information we never agreed to payment or a listing. This company sets you up into believing that they are just verifying your company contact information, but that is not the case, they take verification of this information as a sale and sends you an unsolicited disc and invoice. It is a scam, it is wrong and it is a poor business practice and harassments.Business response

At present, as per the request of ********************* the necessary steps have been implemented to remove the listing from our directory, furthermore there will be no future communications with them. In addition the invoice has been cancelled and the sale made void.

This company called at the beginning of the year to verify our address and phone number, I thought nothing of it. Then I was sent a directory and let it sit there for months because I had no use for it. I then received an invoice for $583.95. When I tried to explain I never authorized this they said I had received the book and it was too late to return it. I never authorized them to send me a book in the first place. Every time they call I try to get them to void the invoice and take our names off the list but it has not happened.Customer response

We received a phone call asking to verify our business name and address for the business white pages. They had an old address so we provided our updated address. They mailed ** a business directory and invoiced ** for $583.95 when nothing was ordered in the first place. I attempted to contact them via email to return the package to them.Customer response
