They keep sending me a bill for service I over paid for. They sent me a partial refund. Now are sending me a bill again. I have reached my out of pocket maximum for the year due to the surgery. I called to have this corrected and advised them I was no long financially responsibly since I had exceeded out of pocket maximum. I would like the balance zeroed out and an apology letter sent do to the harsh and unhelpful person I spoke to while explaining.

      Good morning,

After speaking with ****************** was able to determine that the complaint was sent to Texas Health **************** in error. **************** has not received any services from our physician group. The service in question is for the facility below. I spoke with that location and confirmed information for a point of contact that you can redirect this to.

Can you please also clarify if this will be removed under our THPG profile, or should I also submit a formal response back thru your portal indicating that THPG is not the correct entity?

      Hello,

We have reviewed ******************** complaints.  After reviewing his case and it was noted that he did pay his estimate in full.  ************* payer overpaid his claim resulting in the refund he received.  ************* payer did comeback and recoup the overpayment difference causing the patient to be financially responsibility for the amount.  The account if currently in collections for non-payment. We will move forward with making adjustments on our end to relive the patient of the financial responsibility. No additional statement will be sent.

I am rejecting this response because:   Appears as though they have sent to collections so the bill will now be coming from a collection agency. Needs to be removed not sent away. Out of pocket maximum was reached for the year prior to your bill first sent in Dec. I sent the billing info from my insurance two times showing I was no longer responsible for any further medical expense. You need to take the reins and do the leg work now for your mistake not mine.

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution.  I expect no letters from collections also.
