      I was insured with this company for about 6-8 months. I was in an accident that resulted in my vehicle being totaled (airs came out). After this happened the insurance company first refused to appraise my vehicle because I did not have collision coverage. Which collision coverage is to financially support after an accident. As an insurance company you have to assess the vehicle for damages and also at fault results. After fighting for an appraisal they finally got one. I contacted the appraisal company in which I have messages they said they sent the results to my insurance company. I have been waiting since October just for my insurance company to send me my total loss letter after multiple emails and phone calls. Even my insurance claims agent sent an email with me CCd requesting my total loss letter from her superiors and NOTHING. This has resulted in a MAJOR negative impact of my credit score. Due to me having gap insurance my loan of my car would be paid in full, but without the loss letter I can not file a gap insurance claim. Therefore for months on paper it looks as if Im willingly not paying my car note which has results so negatively in my credit score.

      January 19, 2025 the company was supposed to pay for my vehicle that was totaled and paid me ***** less than what my car was worth and are laying saying the tow yard wouldnt let them pick it up and is not true and Ive tried to discuss the matter with a supervisor but they refuse to call me back even during the ***** hour window and with the amount they paid I cant even replace the car and they are blaming me because they couldnt pick up the vehicle and making me pay charges due to an issue on their side please help me resolve this issue

      Good afternoon, I was using this auto insurance company to insure my vehicles. My policy number was INPA10762174. I had to file 2 claims for towing. I did the initial phone interview and the the claim was processed. It was spilt up into 2 claims. A month went by with no payment and EVERYTIME the agent was called I was always told they would call back or have to recut a check. Here it is December and I havent received anything yet and can not get answers from a supervisor or anyone. The total to receive was only $100, $50 per claim. Thank you for any help.

      My vehicle was involved in an auto accident with a Gainsco covered vehicle. Gainscos client backed into my vehicle thats not having mechanical issues that were not there before. A claim was filed the night of the accident. I have called 7xs but have yet to speak with anyone regarding my vehicle or my familys injuries. I will be forced to obtain an attorney to seek compensation at this point. I have the driver on video admitting to backing into my vehicle. But still no contact

      I am writing to formally file a complaint against Gainsco Insurance for what I believe to be unethical and bad faith practices in handling my automobile insurance claim (Claim Number: OH800793) related to an accident that occurred on October 26, 2024. I would like to provide a detailed account of what has transpired and request your agencys assistance in investigating these practices.On October 26, 2024, I was involved in an automobile accident with a driver insured by Gainsco, ******* *********. After filing a claim, I was initially informed by a representative at Gainsco named ****** that Mr. ********* did not have an active policy with Gainsco at the time of the accident. However, after further research, I discovered this was not true.Upon speaking directly with Mr. *********, he confirmed that Gainsco had dropped his policy immediately after he filed the claim. I then contacted a supervisor at Gainsco who verified that Mr. ********* did, in fact, have coverage and that his policy was canceled on October 26, the same day as the accident.This sequence of events raises serious concerns regarding Gainscos handling of this claim. The company initially provided false information about their policyholders coverage and subsequently canceled the policy on the same day as the accident, which appears to be an attempt to avoid fulfilling their obligations under the policy. This not only delayed the resolution of my claim but also seems to be a deliberate act of bad faith on Gainscos ******* a result of this delay, I have been without my vehicle, which was my only means of transportation, severely impacting my ability to work and provide for my children. I would like to formally request that your agency investigate Gainscos actions regarding this matter. Their refusal to provide accurate information and subsequent cancellation of the policy on the day of the accident appears highly suspect, and I believe this constitutes grounds for regulatory action.

      Gainsco was the insurance provider of the person who hit my car and responsible for the damages, including (by state law) provision of a rental car. Gainsco refuses to pay for the entire rental, leaving more than 400 balance the rental agency billed me. My car is stil in repair almost 60 days. Gainsco adjustor does not return phone calls or complete the work so my car can be released to me.

      When I applied for the SR22- I had a vehicle. I applied with Gainsco which was provided by *********, after a year or so I had no vehicle as it was totaled so I applied for SR22 with no vehicle. I remember providing the end date when I applied, and the payments were set to automatic so I assumed they would stop taking payments when the end date came. Not too long ago I asked statefarn when the policy ended they said they didnt know so I called the *** and they told me it was March 3, 2024 that the policy was done with. I asked for a refund and they said no because I was being covered for any liabilities. I havent needed to use the insurance these past 7 months Ive been paying for, Im a single mom and I have had 9 surgeries throughout ********* and havent been able to work and now have a 10 month old son. Im still not working- I really need all the money I can get and Ill Im asking is for the 745$ refund from these past 7 months. I dont know what to provide or what to do to get the money back. But I tried explaining to them or asking if theres anything that can be done and they say no.
