In June 2023 I started getting emails from APEX with no prior contact about why. It said my monthly statement was available for viewing. I was unsure of what this was and went to the site to access my statement. I was asked to enter my email and it said that there was no account associated with this email but yet I was getting emails from APEX to this same email. I received these for several months all the whole I couldn't find a way to contact APEX by phone or email. Finally after several months of this, I was going through apps on my phone and clicked on the BUMPED app to find it was no longer an accessible app. I researched bumped online and found they sent all accounts to APEX and I was able to make the connection. Fast forward to now and I contacted APEX only through searching their contact info on ****** and was told that I need to set up an account and they gave me my last numbers of my account. Upon viewing my account with APEX after setting it up I find that I am being charged ***** per mth for a management fee and my account balance is now almost half of what it was. I am really unsure how APEX can get away with taking on others accounts without any disclosure of account fees and be considered an investment management company legally. I am requesting a refund of my fees since April 2023 and complete liquidation on my account. Something legal really needs to be done about this company.Business Response

Dear *****************************,
Apex Clearing Corporation (Apex) is in receipt of a copy of your submission to the BBB dated
September 15, 2023, regarding your brokerage account with Bumped. In your submission to the BBB, you
allege that you were not notified that your Bumped account would not be closing and would be moving to
Apex. You allege that you started receiving statements from Apex regarding your account and that you
were not notified about Apex servicing your account, nor were you able to access your account during
that time.
Apexs records indicate the following:
Apex sent a letter to all Bumped clients notifying them that Apex would now be servicing your account
along with the necessary steps needed and options you have. Please refer to the attached document titled
BDW Notification Letter. Apexs ************** BDW team received your correspondence and
responded to you directly via email on September 5, 2023. Apex ************** BDW team provided you
with instructions on how to create a login on Apexs website. Apexs most recent correspondence on the
matter was September 5,2023.
Lastly, at this time your account has been liquidated and Apex has sent a check to your address on record
in the amount of $63.34. This check was processed on September 13,2023. Apex also processed a refund
for the service fees you were charged, totaling $75.00 and the check was mailed out to your address on
record on September 21,2023. This check should take approximately **** business days to arrive.

Apex clearing solutions took over an account from Bumped LLC. After taking over the account on April 7, 2023, my Account Equity was accurate, and the positions were also correct. Since then my positions have disappeared. And my balance keeps dropping when there are no transactions. Then i see that each months APEX Clearing is charging ADMIN FEE of $15 on each months, drowning my balance. And i cannot find a method to contact support in APEX Clearing. Why is APEX Clearing continuing to drain my balance each months? I was not informed of any changes by Apex of maintenance fees. I would like a refund of the fees and request that my remaining account balance be sent via check.Where are my positions? Where did my positions go? My positions/stocks are supposed to remain securely in APEX securities account. And back in April 7, 2023 when Apex Clearing took over the Bumped my positions were showing accurately. I had an account with ****** that was transferred to Apex clearing after they went out of business in 12/22. Since then I can't find a way to close the account online nor can they be reached and I continue to be charged a monthly maintance fee of $15.00 for no purpose as they are not managing or conducting any transactions for me, they are only holding me and with rates so high, they should be PAYING ME interest instead of charging me.Business Response

Several years ago I opened 3 investing accounts for my 3 children on a platform called Love. They then changed their name to *****. Earlier this year I was notified that Flyte was going out of business and my accounts were being transferred to Apex Clearing. I have sent the check request forms to liquidate my accounts multiple times with no response. I've inquired by phone numerous times and nobody answers and I leave a voicemail and have never had a response. Everytime I email the check request forms to the email they gave me, the email is rejected. The only way to contact them is to submit on their contact form on their website and everytime I do that they give me an email address to submit my check request forms and everytime the email gets rejected. Multiple times I have told them this on their contact form and I don't get any response. Apparently submitting my complaint on this site is the only way to get a resolution.Business Response

Dear BBB:I received a letter in the mail a month afterwards due to being a snow bird from Apex Clearing House of ****** **. I had in my possession in my Stash Account ******** shares of ************************* had sold to Murata Electronics of ***** I think.I received an offer to be responded to in 3 days account no *******************. The offer was for 102 dollars at **** per share.At the time, ironically, access to my Stash Retirement **** was temporarily suspended. Please see ** ** BBB complaint regarding....Anyway I wrote to Apex twice.I heard nothing back.I threatened them with a lawyer, no reply.Is this legal?I had requested equal value stock in Murata but at this time, I request a check for 102 dollars.The Job No listed is: E28480 158 My Stash account is online My bank account is online.My rent and mortgage is online What gives with snail mail and 3 day demands. I had 2 accounts at Flyte. Flyte went out of business and my money was transferred to Apex Clearing. I have tried contacting Apex but get no response except a email saying my case is closed. Hi,I opened an investing account with Loved for my daughter *******************. The account was transferred to Flyte and when they closed business, the funds were liquidated to Apex clearing. My apex clearing account: *********. Now I would like to withdraw all my funds from the Apex Clearing account. I have not received any cheques for my funds. I have sent multiple e-mails. This gets frustrating considering how many e-mail I sent and phone call I made. The advertised phone number: ************ is not in service The avertised e-mail address: bdwacct@apexclearing gives failed mail delivery status.We need our money back. I have tried to set up an account multi time over the months and have got an error every time and have emailed multi times asking for help but they keep just sending the same response back to either (find the button on the left side of the screen) which of course if am following to get to the web error or fill out a liquidation and or transfer form. which is hard because i travel a lot for work so there emails are not really helping fix the problem. I have been trying to get the account made so I can see what is in the account that was for my 2 year old that got moved from Flyte to Apex to see if it is worth trying to move. i have uploaded a photo of the error in email and sent it to them a few times and I don't get a response back. and it says that after the first month they start charges fees to hold your account so I have been trying to get to it but there own web service is not working to get stuff moved. I travel to much to get stuff done in paper so i have to do most of this stuff through the web. Please help.Business Response

I received an address change verification letter at my home address with the name of a woman who has never lived here. I sent a picture of it to the customer service address for Apex. They replied that they didnt know what it was about and that there was nothing they can do. To me this is obviously fraud. I dont know exactly what the scam is but this woman has never and will never live at this address. Maybe theyre using it to do some kind of identity theft on my accounts. All I want is for them to take it seriously and find out what this woman is up to.Business Response
