Would give ZERO stars if I could. I ordered a bumper for my car on May 16 and was told by *************************** that I would have it by May 25. Upon reaching out to him he tells me that the bumper was never ordered. What??? I paid almost $250 for this part and you mean to tell me that none of the workers were tracking to see where my bumper was? All he kept doing was giving me the run around saying it'll get there but he never could give me an exact date. This is highly unacceptable and bad business. Now it could be another week before I get my bumper and I simply cannot wait that long because I need my car back asap. All this would've never happened if the workers actually cared enough to follow up on my order.

      Hello ****************,

My name is *************************** and I am the ** of Freedom Chevrolet Buick **C. We originally ordered the part on the 16th with no availability for overnight.  We re-ordered it since it had not arrived on the 24th.  The first one arrived on the 24th.  The eta on the second was today.  We have the part now and would be happy to expedite it, at our expense for any additional delivery charges. Our apologies for the misquote on the time.  Parts delivery has been erratic since COVID as I am sure you are aware.  My cell is ************.  Please call me if I can be of further assistance.

Hello. To whom it may concern, as of: 05 May 2024, this establishment continues to be dismissive of my demands to destroy my personal information (which I NEVER provided to them in the 1st place and it is evident that they receive such info from: Data Brokers, the **** Inspection Sites/Locations, etc) and once they have your info, they refuse to let go of it & even if they place you on a 'do not contact list'-they are still keeping your info in lieu of deleting it like you ask them to. I filed a complaint about this/them before as well as them being rude every time I call about my info being deleted, while I have every right and they completely disregard. I've had to call from several lines because once they become cognizant that it "is me", they will block my numbers and it is their escapism from having to talk to me about WHY they still refuse to delete my info and at this point, I have already been asking them to ever since September 2020! It is now May 2024 & they continue to ignore my requests/demands about my own info. I received your BBB Letter dated 11 April 2024 after returning from an ICU hospitalization w/my Mom and read it just yesterday but nonetheless, their reprisal is lethal and they have been super spamming me now with loads of ads and mail Exclusive 'Buy back offers", even after I have declined all and told them to stop sending me stuff but ultimately to delete my content from their system(s). I do not see why that is so hard to do, it isn't, they are defiant and refuse to and it needs to stop! they shouldn't be able to keep getting away with this! Once someone says delete their their info, it should have been done years ago at this point yet the saga continues!

Hello Lasheta.  My name is *************************** and I am the General Manager of Freedom Chevrolet Buick GMC by Ed Morse.  I am familiar with the mailer you reference in the complaint.  The list for this mailer is purchased by our advertising agency.  We have sent your information to them requesting that you be deleted from our advertising.  They do update the list once in a while and, if the source they get it from still provides your information, then your name is probably added back in.  I am sending them another request today.  My cell is ************.  Please let me know if you receive any additional information and I will send them an additional request.  My apologies for us not getting back to you sooner. Last year, on Feb 18, 2023, I took the car to Freedom Chevrolet b/c I noticed coolant leaking from back of engine. They kept my car for 3 days, charged me over $1K & stated it was a water pump issue that needed replaced which is located in the front of the vehicle. Fast forward to Feb 24, 2024, I noticed coolant leaking from back of engine again so I took it back to Freedom Chevrolet. They kept my car for 13 days (picked up March 8th), charged me over $900 & stated it was an inlet/outlet pipe that connects to back engine ********* needed replaced. The next day, I noticed it leaking again more than before so I had it towed to Freedom on March 11th. During they 14 days they kept my car, I was ignored & received no contact for 5 days. I went to them to speak with manager-****** and found out the service advisor-****** had been sick but ***** followed up with me. This time, they stated they removed & replaced engine coolant thermostat...picked up car on March 25th & the inside of car was covered in coolant. On Thurs, April 11th, I noticed coolant leaking again & took the car back. ****** called on Monday & stated that the inlet/outlet hose failed so they repaired it. I picked up the car on Thurs, April 18th, drove it ********* started leaking in my driveway again. So, I drove it back to them. Today, the 19th, ***************************** Mgr called to tell me that they finally identified the issue that the head gaskets in the motor are leaking and it would be about $5700. I let him know that I've already given them too much money for issues that weren't broken. *** suggested that I could pay the difference (previous $2K) of the $5700. He, then stated that if I couldn't pay the difference, I should come pick up my ******** would refund me my money. I told him I was frustrated with this unfair customer service and I only want my car fixed. Since they misdiagnosed this issue, I believe they could have made this problem worse and caused more damage.

Hello ****,  My name is *************************** and I am the General Manager of Freedom Chevrolet Buick GMC by Ed Morse.  My cell number is ************.  According to  your complaint the original repair of ******* was completed Feb. of 2023.  The repair lasted one year until Feb. of 2024.  That makes these unrelated repairs.  Your vehicle is a 2011, a 13 year old, ****** with over 170k miles on it.  It does appear that the technician did noticed a leak from what appeared to be the inlet/outlet pipe.  They have now determined that the leak is coming from the head which is possibly a catastrophic engine issue.  There is no guarantee on an engine and vehicle this old with this many miles that the head repair will even work.  Because I cannot guarantee a successful repair I am going to refund you the entire $918.00 you paid to replace the Inlet/Outlet Pipe.  I am sorry that your vehicle appears to have a very significant problem.  I would be happy to try to help you purchase a newer vehicle to replace it with.  Please call me on my cell if I can help in any way.  The check will be mailed to you.  Thank you,  ****

I am rejecting this response because:   Its is false and inaccurate. Sold me a water pump that my car didnt need and this repair didnt stop the leak because it was never the part leaking to begin with. Prior to taking the car to this dealer. I actually put the car on a lift and observed the coolant coming from the thermostat housing. I told the service advisor this upon leaving the car. He decided to write vague descriptions of the paper work which includes all types of services that were not performed. Even a simple service like saying that wash the car was put on the paper work. However when I picked up the car it was covered in pink coolant inside and out the car. They didnt even attempt to repair the car correctly. ****** another manger at the site actually walked me into the service area and I observed the tech attempting to replace the thermostat housing from beneath the car. Even tho this part is located on the top in the back  and the intake manifold should have been removed to properly get to this thermostat housing. Which they claimed they couldnt get because it was discontinued. ****** admitted that they do the easiest repair that can hoping it fixes certain problems instead of trying to fix it correctly the first time. The car never stopped leaking after the water pump install. All thought the car had ******* mostly highway miles. My car was running well and the temp gauge never moved a inch until that heater inlet out pipe change. Water pump was the easiest and most expensive thing they could do that wasnt needed. We dont use feelings when it comes to parts. Its either good or bad. They felt all these other parts were bad. Only to overheat the car and feel that my head gaskets are starting to leak. Overheating an engine and putting pressure on an engine causes head gaskets to fail. I never experienced white smoke coming out of my tail pipes(which is a sign of bad head gaskets), my heater never stopped blowing heat(which is what they claimed would happen if the water pump failed), they were no leaks coming from the water pump at all. I didnt bring the car in for overheating. I never saw the temp gauge move on this car until the botched heater Inlet job and the thermostat job which should have been done at the same time as the water pump replace and is a fairly cheap part. The car never stopped leaking about the water pump replace. It was a very minor amount coming out initially. Pin drop. It was full flow after their work. If u over heat a car 3 times in a row of course the head gaskets are going to start leaking. Which is the damage the car is starting to show. I feel even if the head gasket were to be replaced the car would still be leaking from the parts they rush installed on my vehicle. ****** even admitted the the pipe repair failed. Which is why they offered to fix it with out more money. It was just at the point they realized they damaged the car they begin to blow me off, make false promises, and not return my calls. I would need my $918 returned along with my $1,110.27. They would be the very least considering the extensive damage they now leave me burden with.

Also the paper work states that all these things check ok, along with other services that werent performed.  all of a sudden after 2 failed repairs by two different techs because the first guy didnt get it right the first time. It also goes to show that they purposefully or negligently misdiagnosed my car and are now trying to blame me as compared to the shotty workmanship and diagnosis.

I took my Chevrolet Volt to Freedom Chevrolet in ****** on November 2, 2023 because it was displaying, Service High Voltage Charging System. *******************************, the Freedom Chevrolet Service Advisor, notified me that one of the Volts three radiators had a leak and that was the cause of the problem and the warning message. The radiator replacement cost over $1,600, which I authorized and paid. On November 7, 2023, I picked the Volt up from the dealership. However, after driving less than ten miles, the Service High Voltage Charging System, message was displayed again. I immediately returned the Volt to Freedom Chevrolet for further diagnosis and repair. On or about November 15, 2023, ******************************* informed me that the problem with the vehicle was a stuck sensor in a coolant recovery tank. I authorized replacement of the coolant recovery tank and sensor and ******** told me that I could pick up the vehicle on November 16, 2023. This repair cost approximately $176.42 plus tax for the part. Freedom agreed to waive the labor charge. After I paid for this repair on November 16, 2023, the ****************** delivered the Volt to me. However, the Volt was already prominently displaying, Service High Voltage Charging System, as well as a check engine indicator. I informed ******************************* that I had to take the vehicle as I would otherwise be late for a doctors appointment. I took a picture of the error message and sent it to ********. Later that day, I returned the vehicle to Freedom Chevrolet. Freedom Chevrolet did not bother to contact me regarding status of the vehicle for almost two weeks. Eventually, on December 4, 2023, I filed a complaint with ************** Customer Advocacy. Then, ******************************* called me. She claimed that some fuse needed to be replaced and the estimated cost for replacement was over $800.00. Freedom has offered to reduce this repair cost to about $454. The vehicle is still not repaired. They are awaiting parts.

I've been receiving loads of solicitations from this business ever since August 2020 and now I already have 31 letters from this dealership pertaining to my vehicle which I have no aspirations of trading in or selling to them. It is not a matter of fact of the spamming of letters but rather a matter of them having my name and address which I have asked them numerous times to remove from their distribution lists for over 3 years to no avail. These fraud letters are always circled and from ****** with a phone number of ************ and I have 4 times spoken directly to: ************************* who previously told me that he'd forward my request (rather my demand) to his marketing department for the removal. I do not want to be on a 'do not contact list', I want to be fully REMOVED from the list-I want to be cognizant of and have control of where my personal info is and with who has it and for what matter, especially when I did NOT provide it to them but in lieu of I was exploited. He tried to sass me telling me that my info is 'public info' and I surely told him that no, that is not so, as I have my name and address hidden per confidentiality protocols directly that protect me and therefore IF this business or ANY business has their hands on my info, it was sold/traded/given/provided to them via ************* *** change/state inspections and/or the *** and certainly NOT from me! I want for my info to me PERMANENTLY DELETED and I do NOT want any more of their propaganda. I should not have to keep asking for 3+ yrs because it is just harassment now!

On October 17th, me and my wife met with ******************** (Assistant Mananger). I told him the issues I have with the contract. No one went over this contract with me. Attached is their $5,000 Freedom Package, its a unathorized add-on, I cancelled all unathorized add-ons on October 20, 2023.

I wasn't offered or made aware of any add-ons by the finance manager, or my salesman.

They did refund all unathorized add-ons, all accept the Freedom Package, because its non-refundable.

Finance Manage, ***************************, didn't explain or go over the sales contract with me.That  was done intentionally to prevent me from rejcecting the inflated sales contract.

She was negilence in her dutie, by inflating my sales contract, by adding unathorize add-ons, and seeking  outside financing to benefit Freedom Chrevrolet.

Freedom Chrevrolet were fraudulent, deceptive, unfair, knowing I was pre-approved, only to steer the contract to *************** who had a excessively high-interest rate, and fees.

I went in the dealership with interest to purchasing a vehicle. To be as simplified as possible, after hours of being there we were down to the final process of agreement and was unable to move forward due to it being after hours and the financing team being gone for the day. The sales rep ******** was frustrated with the overall deal and my desire to obtain the best deals. He attempted and did have me sign papers that I advised him did not read what he was advising it was a brand new vehicle he wanted me to sign saying it was used with no warranty. He then got his manager **** who concluded the meeting with me, stated finance was gone for the day and we would proceed doing business upon my return the following business day which would have been 4/3/23. We also left off with understanding that I did not want to use their financing I wanted to use my own which I would obtain a buyers agreement on 4/3/23 at 1pm to take to my own bank. All these things being in place the rep originally assisting took my file from his manager desk without consent 4/3/23 morning and turned in into financing and allow them to run my credit several times. I conveyed to the representative before the manager took over that I only wanted my info to be submitted to 3 lenders if I used their finances in addition I advised I did not want to use Santander. Everything discussed was disregarded and now my credit is impacted due to the staff member not doing what he was told. **** was able to get me a letter to give to the creditors but this takes ***** days to resolve. This hinders me moving forward in the manner which I desire. What I would like is the hits I took not to take ***** days. The only way for this to happen is for the dealership to directly reach out to the credits and advise their error.
