      Subject: Complaint About Profile Suspension on Hinge and Request for Clarification Dear *** or Madam,I am reaching out to you because my profile on the platform Hinge ( ************* has been suspended without a specific violation being communicated to me or a prior warning being issued.I would like to emphasize that I have always conducted myself respectfully and cannot identify any violation of the platforms terms of use. Every user deserves transparency and fair treatment. Therefore, I expect a clear explanation of the reasons for the suspension and an opportunity to address any misunderstandings or adjust my behavior, if necessary.From a legal perspective, the suspension appears disproportionate. According to 242 BGB (principle of good faith) and 241(2) BGB (duty of care), contractual parties are required to act fairly. Additionally, Article 12 of the **** mandates transparency, particularly when decisions are made through automated processes. A permanent suspension without prior warning or justification contravenes these principles.The suspension has also had negative consequences for me and other platform users. Planned meetings had to be canceled, which may create the impression that my profile is fake.       On November 29 2024 I was sent an unsolicited message from the Upward dating app that said I was approved to move my profile to the Hinge dating app. My Hinge profile was then automatically created. I set up my profile authentically and the next morning when I tried to log on I received an automated message saying I was "banned for violating our policy prohibiting new accounts from users who were previously removed" and that the decision was based on "Detection with automated tools". The last time I had a Hinge account (prior to this), my phone was lost/stolen and many of my personal accounts (eg financial, social) were hacked into. I am not aware of what kind, if any, messages were sent from my accounts during this time and I have submitted multiple appeals and appeal update requests to Hinge and have never gotten a single response that was not boiler-plate automated. I have spent hard-earned money on premium services on multiple ***************** companies and have never been dignified with an explanation or even a human response. Shutting down accounts, creating bans, and disregarding the human aspect is disgraceful and inhumane; especially considering they do not refund your money. Seems like enough other people have very similar experiences and perhaps a class-action suit may be warranted. I have always been respectful and followed all TOS when using the app. If something happened when my personal property was stolen and accounts hacked, I should be able to know what it was that happened and be able to explain my position for why/how things may have occurred to a human being. This company shows a complete lack of concern and care for its paying customers and it seems to be aimed mostly at one particular gender, which is entirely discriminatory in nature and a civil rights violation.

      Was recently removed from the app for nonexistent reasons, and appeal was denied. There was not a reason for my account to be deleted, nor did they provide one. Id like the mistake to be rectified and reinstated.

      On November 30th my account was removed after having many new matches that week and I have yet to even message. I pay 3 month HingeX for their service so they just waited to charge me first probably. I didnt receive information on what term or service rule I broke and my appeal was responded to in minutes meaning it was automated. There are thousands of people with similar issues and this is starting to feel like they just do whatever they want with no consideration for peoples mental health.I have always been a HingeX user and have poured money into the app but this is not the way they should handle their premium customers Someone wrongfully reported my account for no reason whatsoever and that has led to my account being banned. I would really just love to continue using Hinge and have my profile reinstated. I am currently traveling and am dependent on Hinge to meet new people. Thank you. I really hope you understand

      Yesterday 12/6/24 I created a new Hinge Dating profile - I added photos and basic info only and left the profile incomplete until I found additional time. I declined all likes I received and commented on ONE persons photos on THEIR profile which did not violate any rules - I simply mentioned it made me chuckle. I woke up the today to an email saying at 6:15 am my account was removed/banned due to violating their rules. They give no explanation/reason why which makes it impossible to fight? I appealed saying I did nothing wrong - I didnt even have any matches/conversations going due to the profile being so new. I received an email finalizing the ban - which is a forever ban from their app. Seems extreme for a company that gives 0 explanation for their action. I read online someone can simply report you for revenge and you get banned. The company needs better customer service and they need to provide actual reasons for banning.

      My account was banned on ******************** and there was no reasoning behind it. I have tried to appeal multiple times and no result. I have read online that the appeal process on hinge is almost %100 percent denial. I would like my account unbanned or at least actually looked at instead of instantly denied. There is no reason why my account should be banned I read all of the terms and I did not violate any of them .

      I am filing this complaint regarding an unfair account termination by Hinge. I believe I was a victim of revenge reporting following an interaction with another ******* provide context, I matched with a user whose name begins with N. We went on a date, during which she expressed a desire for me to spend the entire weekend with her. While the date was amicable, I politely declined her request and communicated my intention to leave after finishing my drink, which I did. The next day, my account was banned.I have not been informed of any specific Terms of Service I allegedly violated. I have reviewed my conduct and communications on the platform and am confident I adhered to all guidelines. If my messages are reviewed, it will confirm that no violations occurred. This ban seems to stem from a personal grievance rather than any actual breach of Hinges policies.I respectfully request a thorough review of this matter and a clear explanation for the account termination.

      Banned from Hinge: Email received at 4:15 am on December 7th I received an email saying my account was removed I followed their suggestions of reading their rules and I wasnt breaking any of them. Im 26 years old (over 18) Only had 1 account which I used to seek a meaningful relationship with I dont ask anything inappropriate nor are my pictures inappropriate Im extremely upset because this was the ONE dating app I liked and used. The other ones **** and dont let you set specific settings like wanting a Christian man etc I dont understand why I was banned for no reason but its very upsetting to find out this is common :( I loved using Hinge and have heard great success stories so I redownloaded it hoping maybe I could find love on the app after my friend found her long term bf. They didnt reply to my email appeals and that seems unfair since I followed all the rules and was banned for no reason WITHOUT an explanation
