I signed up for access to Plenty of Fish dating site on or about April 18th 2023. On April 26th I received an email stating my phone number attached to the account had been changed. I then followed their instructions to log into my account and change my password. When I did this, it said my username and password were invalid. I requested a link to change my password which never came to my email or spam. I then contacted them via service ticket (they have no phone number to call). They tell me they have no record of my account. Obviously the hacker changed all my information. I then tried the live chat feature only to be told they were having technical issues and I would have to reach out again later.Business Response

They did free access to my account, in which I had no control to my settings. The only thing that I was able to do was hit take a break on my account. I find that strange. I will accept their response because I reported them to pay pal and attached for you proof of an immediate refund. This happened right after I opened my dispute. Pay pal stated they will not tolerate such behavior by a company and ignoring responses. Especially when paying. I do not wish to pursue anything further, but be aware of their lying and allowing fake profiles and predators. If you report a fake profile, your account will be limited and frozen.Initial Complaint

On April 15 2023 i subscribed to this dating service and was charged *****. I have since reported sexual harassment claim on today's date and got the run around. I requested that my account be deleted and a refund of my ***** and asked that they have the abuser removed so that he wouldn't do the same again to other women.. They gave me a hard time about deleting my account and returning my *****. I had to report them to the *** to report their poor reaction to a claim of sexual harassment. Only when I told them this the change their tune and said it would get their immediate attention. No mention regarding closing my account..refund of my money or removing the abuser.Business Response

I subscribed to POF because, they advertised their upgraded member subscription as monthly I checked my account about ****** after and i realized more was deducted from my account instead of $11 was $79 The Platform is filled with scammers! Bought a 6 month premium membership for plenty of fish online dating site. I had to cancel my profile to create a new profile to fix an error on my age. I have until September 2nd remaining on my prepaid premium membership. They won't allow me to use my membership now due to it being a new profile. It was created with the same email on my apple id. On April 4 I tried to order a 3 month POF membership for $59.99, I paid for the membership through Paypal. When I got my confirmation email it showed a 12 month membership and I was billed for $119.99. I'm not sure if there was a billing error or if I accidentllley clicked on the wrong button when placing my order. Upon immediateley noticing the Billing error when I received my confirmation email, I contacted POF and explained the situation and they told me that they would not refund my money, The next day I reached out again and another customer support agent told me the same thing, that all sales are final and they do not issue refunds.Business Response
