I used the Active.com platform to pay for a summer camp for my son, it was the suggested platform for the camp we attended. Without realizing it and without my authorization I was signed up for an annual Active membership and month later, an unauthorized charge of $99.95 posted on my card. It's possible that some box was checked when I was setting up payment to camp, but if this was the case it would had to have been very covertly included and is pretty scammy. I would like to be refunded as I never signed up for this membership.Business Response

On March 8 ACTIVE Network LLC charged our checking account $99.95 for a service we never knowingly signed up for. Researching the description of the charge we learned this is for what ACTIVE is calling an annual subscription after a thirty free trial. The account they charged us on was not used for any online transactions in the past sixty days so I am baffled how they even got our account number. We want a full refund ASAP.Business Response

When signing up for a half marathon at the beginning of February, ACTIVE.com included an Active Advantage membership trial in the package as well. I was unaware of this being included and have never wanted their services, as I only use active.com to sign up for races. They have a history of being sneaky when it comes to hiding these charges and subscriptions on their web pages. I learned of this subscription while checking my credit card statements today. I have never even logged into my Active "Advantage" subscription until today to cancel the membership. I have used none of their services offered by this advantage program and would simply like to be reimbursed for the charges. Thank you.Business Response
