Against my knowledge, I was charged $99.95 by this organization. It was my impression that I was only signing up for a potential refund if I chose to be refunded for the LA marathon. I am frankly frustrated by this charge and I would like my $99.95 refunded and the cancellation of further charges by this organization.Business Response

On 10/30/23, my credit card was charged $99.95 for some sort of membership I never asked for or agreed to join. After searching the internet and reading other complaints on the BBB website about this company, I put the pieces together and figured out these fraudulent charges were related to the purchase of hockey gear for my grandchild from the ******************** program on 9/30/23. I am angry and frustrated that Active Network LLC manipulates the format of the credit card charges to disguise their company name and the nature of the charges. The charges posted to my account came from a company called Activeworks Endurance. They do not include a phone number or address for their company in the charges. Their website is very unhelpful and allowed only for email contact which basically provided a 'canned' response. I want my credit card refunded, the fraudulent membership canceled, and all of my personal and financial information removed from this company's records.Business Response

Signed up for a race and have now been charged two annual "membership" payments for a membership I never wanted or signed up for. Will not be signing up for races again if they use this platform and that's a lot of events, including all UTMB events.Business Response

I purchased a spectating ticket to watch my boyfriend compete in the tough murder 10k on 11/12/2023. It was unknown to me that I was signed up for a membership and have had two charges for $99.95. This has been a nightmare disputing with my bank because once a charge is disputed I have to change my card number and then Im charged $99.95 again. Around 11/27/23 a charge for $99.95 was charge to my account with no additional information other than a phone number in the charge details. I looked up the number and followed a bread trail to my local Parks and Rec. After calling them to confirm THEY did not charge me this amount, they advised me to contact "Active" directly. I am uncertain why I was set up with this account in the first place. All I wanted to do was go to a drop in hockey last month. I dont know if I was automatically routed to set up an account or if I was fraudulently set up with an account. However, I can assure you I would not willingly agree to pay $100 a year for this.I am not satisfied with any of the benefits this membership provides/provided.Business Response
