I got a new debit card and cancelled my account. No one ever replied and I continued to get bills in the mail. No service was ever provided during this time. I emailed again after getting a threat they would send me to collections and asked them again to cancel my account. The account was finally cancelled. I continued to get bills for $179.04, again for a service that was never provided. I emailed them twice asking why they were sending me to collections for a service they never provided and never got a response. I now have been sent to collections and cannot get a reply from the company.Business response

It appears we suspended the account on August 30th due to non payment. We are happy to figure this out with you. Please contact our office, and we will get it handled. They are now stating that I never filled out a cancellation form, but I was never asked to, just 1 response via email that my account was cancelled. On July 19, 2021, Berrett pest control sent a tech to a house that I was looking to purchase for a termite inspection. They found no previous termite damage and said they could not access the bottom of the home(the house was on pier and beams). Due to issues with my loan for the house, I had to have a separate termite inspector from a different company come out and he found damage in an area that the tech from Berrett failed to inspect. I've called multiple times and spoke to multiple people at Berrett who say a manager will call me back but no one has reached out to me or my realtor.Business response

Berret person came out after I called about having Raccoons in my attic and inspected the attic. Found no baby Raccoons. I showed him the two holes- one on the eave of the house and one on the gable. I signed for the service which was $398 plus tax. When the technician came out, he used my ladder to get on top of my house, that was the first unprofessional thing. He placed a trap on the roof and one on the ground on the opposite side of the house - caught a cat. I a camera to view the Raccoons. One came along and knocked the trap off the roof. I called Barrett. After about a week someone replaced the trap. They have only made two (2) trips to my home. Caught a cat. I called and told them that I was not happy with their service and they said give them another chance, which I did. Called spoke with Brandon today, he put me through toCustomer Service. I waited over 8 min and then was disconnected. They called and left a threatening message. Will pay the bill today.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/18) */ *****, sorry about the confusion. We did go out and set the original traps, and the one on the roof was knocked off. The issue here is that you haven't paid us. We have gone out to your home twice, and the credit card you gave us has declined every time. It got to a point where we realized that we can't continue to do work with you until the bill was paid. Once that occurs, we are happy to come out and catch the raccoons for you. You have put us in a tough position because we want to help, but we recognize that we need to be paid for the work as well.
