Email sent to office and Property Management Company Jan 2nd: I have put in a maintenance request for my front door to be fixed. There is a small crack at the bottom of the door that is starting to become a major issue. It has always been an issue but I have found a way to manage it with bugs and outside debris getting into my home. I have been away from the apartment for a few months coming and going. I decided to try to stay elsewhere as I was getting sick in the apartment. I came home yesterday to mouse droppings all over my apartment.. I did some cleaning and disinfecting but I am not sure where and how they are entering the apartment. I do not believe it is safe for me and my dog to live with mice around the apartment as he and I both have severe allergies and I have Asthma. Mice droppings contain a lot of hazardous things that neither my dog or I should be breathing in. I would like for pest control to come in and take a look and also block off any entry ways that they could be coming in through. If possible, I would like the screens on the windows to be replaced or fixed as there are holes or they are not sealed correctly allowing bugs in during the summer. The bugs are tolerable to a degree, but I absolutely cannot allow me and my dog to live with a mouse infestation.Business Response

I live here in ************ apts in ************ and they have no leasing office workers and I'm trying to move out the beginning of this month but in order to do so I need to be removed from this subsidy program in order to receive new assistance from another subsidy program I've contacted an email that maintenance personnel gave me no response and I also contacted Atlantic housing no response as well. I have no idea what the procedure is and how my final rent would be calculated this is very unprofessional and not right at allBusiness Response

I signed a hardship form for the rental property to end my lease and was told by staff member ***************************** as well as ************************* that I didnt owe anything. I completed the final walk through and requested the paperwork; however was told they dont provide one. I then got served at work at my place of employment with a notice of intent to impose claim upon security deposit as well as a move out statement of the sum of $603.09. This amount was submitted to collections. When I called the rental office the first time ***** was helpful and explained that I shouldve received papers at the final walkthrough as well as a ***** number to set up a payment plan if there were any remaining balance. I didnt receive either. I called a second time, ****** told me ***** no longer worked there and told me she had nothing to do with that situation and transferred me to ********. I tired to explain to ******** who hung up on me because she didnt want to look up the account. I am a single mother, a domestic violence survivor who was in a hardship situation and needed to move in with family. That apartment community put my safety at risk because the unit next door kept getting broken into and after I reported several times to the rental office nothing improved.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The office and I never agreed on anything as I signed a hardship document allowing me to move out due to financial reasons. When I called the office the first time yes after being served paperwork at my place of employment yes I was explained the reason for the paperwork served and steps to take. However information on paperwork was not clear and I attempted to call again and was rudely hung up on by ********. I do not wish to speak with anyone in the office as they are always disrespectful. Hello,
I spoke with the community manager, *****, about ******'s concern. She said she had spoken with ****** in detail about her remaining balance and got off the phone believing that ****** understood that she still owed a balance. ****** thought moving out early would mean she did not have to pay rent anymore, but per the lease agreement, she still owed rent until the lease ended. We have documentation showing the remaining balance and do not know what else needs to be communicated for ****** to be satisfied with our response. I am happy to set up a meeting with ******, the community manager, and regional manager if she feels there is something more we need to discuss.
If you recommend something further should be done, I'm certainly open to ideas.

I have recently moved out of ****************** on January 19th, 2024. I was told I had a deposit over $600 I was going to receive in the mail. I waited ***** days from date and did not receive. I called in office. They advised the address was spelled wrong. Instead of the street name saying Ramblewood it was put in Bramblewood I was advised ***** again FROM that correction which took place On 3/4/2024. I called back in today on 3/12 I was advised that they havent received proper training on their end and do not know how to fully process me out the system to receive there was no empathy about my money that I need. There was no solution. Advised they are just waiting on someone to train them properly! And has no idea when it will happen. There is no contact phone number on their website and when I lived in the complex I sent a message through their website complaining about the bug infestation I had. I live in a community just purchased by a non profit organization , ATLANTIC HOUSING FOUNDATION ************************************* ************************************************************************ ********** I have been a resident here for 6 years i moved in back in 2018 July 10th .Last utility check I received BOUNCED!!! And I haven't received another in the last 4 months!!! The temp unit the office has my medically challanged children in is INFESTED WITH EVERY KIND OF BUG YOU CAN THINK OF!!! And the "pest control" does NOTHING BUT BRING MORE! I have receipts of RAID I've purchased (over 10 cans) & STILL INFESTATION!!! I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PATIENT, because I understand that the office has alot going on. But what about me and my children??? 4 months is a Long time to live out of boxes. And sleep on a couch when you have a bed for every room..I have been placed in a temp unit (35D)for 4 months now, living out of boxes When my original unit is ready to move back in - last utility check i received was 430(Supposed to be back pay but it BOUNCED My family has been living out of boxes for 4 months when we were told it would only be a month & only unpack essentials. I've done my rectification 6 times now with the office and do not get me started on *************************** ATTITUDE!! I, *****************************, has had a problem with my rental property, *****************, resolving a payment matter that has not been resolved because the Leasing Manager, **************, has been waiting on the accounting office to investigate a rental payment that was paid but is showing only a partial payment and when I went to pay my rent I was not able to because of the late charges and missing payments that are not accounted for and it would not allow me to pay my rent. Safety issues such as, broken gates on the dog park resulting in an attack, dishwasher falling out of the cabinet, dishwasher doesn't actually work due to lack of water pressure, sparking ceiling fan, large brick size rocks being thrown at my son's windows by the children upstairs, my washer smells like sewage and has.simce we moved in in July of '22. No insulation. Air just comes through the windows and door jams. Door handle doesn't turn sometimes it is so loose it doesn't register. The amount of trash and f**** all over the property is a safety concern. There are numerous vehicles not in lease compliance of having insurance and up to date registration tags. All, and I do mean every single.one of these has been reported over the last 6 months repeatedly. There has not been a pool in years and it is still advertised as having these amenities. we do not infact have that access. After I signed said lease I found out that ******************** failed their safety inspection. My next conversation will be with the *** to investigate where the non profit grant ***** is actually going because it absolutely is not going back into any complex that this company owns.Initial Complaint

I paid 600$ dollars for a security deposit back in March for an apartment for April 1st move in. It's not about to be July . I requested a refund in may and no one will help me. Me and my son are now homeless due to false promises and lack of communication.
