I am receiving multiple post cards and other mailings from this company for a woman by the name of ******* at my address. The postcards say they are interested in buying her house which they have at a different address. I have no idea who this woman is and I am a licensed *********** Broker so, if I ever needed my home sold at this address I would handle it myself. I called the number on the card more then once and explained that they are sending mail to my home for an unknown person and to stop. I was told that they will submit a request and send a message for it to stop but it has not! I then drove to the address on the card and actually spoke to the woman ******** son who has informed me that this company has been harassing his mother not only by mail, calls, texts and by sending people to the property and that it is not for sale and never was. I made a copy of the postcards and gave them to him and we exchanged information to keep in touch. After researching this further, I am appalled to see the amount of people that this company is harassing more importantly seniors. If this company sends me or this woman ******* or bothers either of us one more time not only will I personally file a report with the ************************* I will also have my attorney wife reach out to the hundreds of other people complaining of the same thing and file a class action lawsuit against this company and its franchises responsible for this and if they think I wont then just try me. I will also make sure that this is reported to the News Stations, posted on social media and I will put my own mailing out utilizing my direct marketing company warning others of this. Do NOT reply to this with your generic response as you appear to be doing to all these complaints because I am not interested in your BS. You are being told here and now for the LAST TIME to knock it off and DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN by any means aside from this complaint or it will be considered harassment.

After calling this business and asking for a supervisor to remove me from the mailing and all other list, they tell me that there is no supervisor available that they will have once call me back regarding my concern. Instead now they are TEXTING ME TO SELL MY HOUSE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY? I will wait to see the conclusion of what happens with this BBB matter, but this is going to be reported. THIS IS PURE HARASSMENT AND THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO REACH SOMOEONE AT MY ADDRESS WE NEVER HEARD OF. THEY SHOULD BE REGULATED BY THE REAL ESTATE COMISSION OF THE ****************/.

      Customer response

      11/29/2023

I am rejecting this response because:   This is a generic response that is replied to in just about every BBB complaint that I see from this company. I do not care how long you have been in business, how well of a company you think you are, how many franchisees you have or anything else for that matter elated to your so-called business. I care about and ONLY care about not receiving these incorrect mailers and your business sending things to my address for another person as stated in my original complaint. Stop trying to "brush this off" with a generic response and try to pass the blame to the local franchise. Bottom line, we did not ask for this, do not want this, advised you that you are mailing things to us for the wrong party, and this is causing a problem and must stop. If it happens again, it will be considered a form of harassment. If there is a new mailer then it's up to the business to stop it if you know you are sending things to the incorrect party/address not for the individual to just deal with it and hope it don't happen again, -Regards

Absolutely ridiculous to close this complaint. The business did NOT try a "good faith" effort to resolve the dispute what they did was send a very generic message the same one they sent to all other complaints.

I am rejecting this response because:   ********* continues to use these tactics, blames the franchisee and refuse to acknowledge the multiple similar complaint. This boilerplate response is nonsense and not worth the energy it took to submit it. This email marketing campaign needs to stop completely, not just on an individual basis. We have a long list of fed-up residents, thanks to socials, and are prepared to bring corporate and the franchisee to court if they do not cease and desist immediately.
