I purchased 3 $50 each Gift Cards from the company earlier in 2024. The order number was CND6KEUWHH. Later in the year, I realized I had misplaced 2 of the cards after fully using one of them. I called 5 times for help, was given different numbers to call, put on hold endlessly and at the end of each call was told my original credit card of purchase would be credited. Of course, that never happened and they sincerely are full of s***. I wanted to report them because while as a company they have struggled financially, they public still probably views them favorably and I do not want others being ripped off the way I am. I placed Web Order **********. When I got to Chesapeake VA restaurant location I didn't receive the strawberry lemon-aid, the loaded mash potatoes platter or the blue cheese dressing & the wings platter & the ribs platter wasn't what I had previously ordered & nothing like the picture on the app. The portions were smaller & they had come in a nice plastic platter & were still pictured that way on the app. Instead I received my platters in smaller aluminum pans & when I asked why they weren't in the black plastic platters, I was told the restaurant was out. On the App the smaller aluminum pans were an option but I did not order that I ordered the platters. When I asked about the blue cheese dressing I selected for the wings platter a server went to kitchen then came back and said I did not get dressing because I selected "no sauce" and she pointed to it on the receipt so I showed her that the "no sauce" on the receipt referred to the type of wings & showed her where it said "Bl Chs SM" on the receipt referring to my selection of dressing then she walked to the kitchen but I could clearly hear her loudly talking to the kitchen crew very disrespectful about me and these are the people who were preparing the rest of my order. I asked to speak with the manager. He said his name was ******* & the server was named China...he apologized on her behalf but I could still hear the young lady talking about me to the crew who was preparing my food. The manager brought the lemon-aid and I advised him I was still waiting on the mash potatoes platter. He went to kitchen & got it stating it was already prepared meaning it was just sitting there. He offered me a free dessert but I declined because I really did not want the food at all but I had already paid for it. When I got home the lemon-aid tasked like dirty water, no sugar, lemon or strawberry flavor. None of my guest felt comfortable eating the food. I submitted a complaint on 11/3/2024 but to date no one has responded.Customer Answer

On 5/9/24: I ordered a Fridays gift card online for $60 ************************ now my new address ********************* is on Fridays account) which included an ebonus bite card for $25 which expires 8/31/24. Before losing that amount of $25 I visited and used that $25 on an order on 8/22/24 at the ********* drive ************** location leaving my $60 gift card unused. After discovering that multiple fridays locations for closing, I called to check on my card balance on 10/29/24 to hear my card had $0 on it. I then tried to contact customer support to get an answer. The option on ***************** was unable to talk to anyone and the call disconnected me after several attempts. On 10/30/24 I went to the office ***************************************. The office was locked with no one around. I visited TGI Fridays on July 17, 2024.First, there was no host at the front. We stood there for about 5-10 minutes then some stranger said to just a take seat, so we did. When we took a seat, a waiter rolls up to the table with the nastiest attitude. He kept rolling his eyes and acted like somehow we inconvenienced him by sitting down. We apologized for just sitting down and told him we can stand back up and wait when they were ready and he just mumbled 'it's fine.'Then, it took roughly 35 minutes for our food to come out. The long wait was annoying but not the end of the world. When the food came out, it was like a circus: the waiter was bringing food, another two ladies were bringing small plates, etc. At this point, we asked for the bill because I knew it was going to take forever to *******, my family is eating with no utensils and no napkins and still waiting for the bill. They didn't even come with water. After all that, when the bill came, the initial waiter suddenly is all happy, handing our boxes, too. We boxed our food and the waiter didn't even give us a bag for the food. That literally killed the vibe for the entire night.According to the receipt, the employee # is 296.After having submit this complaint, **** gave me a $50 giftcard for internal purchase. I inquired over email whether I can just receive the $50 as a **** giftcard or a refund on my check, cause I don't want to to go another TGIF. They gave me no response.I ended up going into the same ****, they informed me that the gift card does work, then when I ordered $50 worth of food, when it came time to pay, they said the gift card was invalid. When I emailed **** they simply stated that I rejected the gift card. Remember, I just inquired and they didn't respond so I assumed I was stuck with this.I have made multiple attempts to contact TGIF and no response. I've been trying to reach out to Friday's since 10/11/24 to check a gift card balance since their website and phone service is unable to check gift card balances at the moment. When I didn't receive a message back from them this week, I reached out to them again and they emailed me back right away asking what help I needed. I messaged them the gift card number and asked if they could give me the balance. Once again, they are ignoring my messages. I even messaged them on Instagram. As soon as I asked if they could check the gift card balance, they started ignoring my messages. I have copies of the emails and DM's if needed. I'm not sure what is going on, but it is very odd behavior, especially coming from a chain restaurant. I'd like to know why my messages are being ignored as soon as I ask for a gift card balance? I went to ********* my location and was using a gift card I received because I'm not in the area to often so I ordered potato skins and whiskey tender strips which was $16.99 for just the chicken strips and went home. And realized. That this was ridiculous on what I got. On August 30th 2024, I order online about 9:42 p.m. I parked in a to go order pick up and called to let the restaurant know I was in parking spot 1, they said they would bring it out as soon as it was ready. I also tipped $5.25 bringing my total to $43.54, to the guy bringing the food out. I ordered an American Cheeseburger with fries and the Whiskey Ribs with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We get home and I don't have my mashed potatoes, I had been working late that day so I did not feel like getting back out, to take the food, to show them I did not have my potatoes. So I called and informed the lady that answered the phone what happened, she connected me to the managers phone but there was no answer, the next day I called back, got the manager on the phone, he asked me if I called the same night it happened, I said yes I did but I did not get an answer after being transferred to his number. He asked around what time did I order I said about 9:00 - 9:30 pm on that Friday, August 30th, but it was about 9:42 pm, he said he would look for the order but it would be a while before he could call me back. I'm still waiting on that call. This is not the first time they have left things out of my order. I paid for something I never got and tipped on top of the poor service.Business Response

The General Manager called me (******* ****) last Wednesday the 25th I believe and he said he will be sending out coupons to my address but it might be Friday the 27th of September before he could send them out because he's really busy. I said that would be fine.

Greetings, I am reaching out to address the concerning decline in the overall quality of Friday's, coupled with the steady rise in prices. One might assume that an increase in prices would be accompanied by an improvement in quality, but unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case here. During my recent visit to a Friday's location, I was disappointed to find that everything, with the exception of my server, was subpar. It was baffling to me how my food arrived cold, especially considering the minimal number of customers present in the establishment. Fearing for the integrity of my order, I opted to only order an appetizer, paid, and promptly left.I used to enjoy dining at TGI Fridays, but now I find that the customer service has deteriorated, portion sizes have shrunk while costs have escalated, and the flavors are no longer as enticing. The apparent lack of concern from management is disheartening. It is clear that the path this restaurant has taken speaks volumes, but not in a positive light.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Impressive how your response truly reflects the essence of the company and your personal character. Can you shed some light on the reason behind the blatant falsehood regarding the permanent closure of this restaurant? After personally verifying by calling both ******* locations, it's clear they are very much open for business. Instead of upholding professionalism and embodying integrity, morals, and values, it's disappointing that lies are being freely offered. Surprisingly, no one other than the lady who promised to escalate the issue to higher authorities has contacted me. It seems likely that the same lady who deceitfully claimed the closure is behind this. Here's a question - if the restaurant is closed, why the need to escalate the issue to someone else?
