      On Thurs. 7/13/2023 at about 9pm, my husband took me out for my birthday to my favorite restaurant, TGI Fridays in ******, **. We live 30 miles away, so it was no easy trek to get there. Because it was a special night for me, we ordered more food for just the 2 of us than we normally would. Being that Im disabled, I dont get to get out often, & living on disability means that my money is limited. Our bill ended up costing $70.41, in which I told the waiter to put $60 on my debit ***** **** gave him $20.41 in cash for the remainder which included his tip. Almost a week later, on Wed., 7/19/2023, after trying to pay for sometihng at ******** I was told my card had declined. I called my ************** notified me that a charge of $70.41 had came through causing me to overdraft, which incurred a $29 overdraft fee! I was LIVID! Not only did this inconvenience me & made me incur an unnecessary fee, but it also EMBARASSED ME at the store, making me have to put back all of the items that I had spent over an hour shopping for! My husband immediately called & spoke to ***, the manager & was told there was nothing he could do, but he would get with the general manager & see what they could do. Well, the general amanager only agreed to put $10 back to my ***** whch STILL wasnt what was supposed to be correct as that still remained $60.41, when I only signed for $60 ONLY! Not to mention my overdraft charge! So since then, weve been going back & forth with the general manager as I requested for a FULL REFUND PLUS MY NSF CHARGE DUE TO ALL OF THE *********************** TO ******** she is requesting to see my bank statements AS IF IM LYING ABOUT THIS WHOLE THING! FOR ONE, HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR HER THIEVING EMPLOYEE TRYING TO STEAL $20 FOR A TIP, WE WOULDNT BE IN THIS PREDICAMENT! THEN, *********** & INCONVENCING ME & CAUSING ME THIS FEE, YET SHE IS ASKING ME TO JUMP THROUGH ********** NOT! ID LIKE THEM TO REFUND MY $29 NSF CHARGE WITHOUT INCONVENCING ME ANY FURTHER! MY BANK IS IN ****** DONT HAVE ONLINE ACCESS DUE TO PAST IDENTITY THEFT, SO I DONT HAVE A WAY TO SHOW MY STATEMENT NOR DO I FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING SO DUE TO MY PAST IDENTITY THEFT!

      Our guest, *******************************, was contacted by the management team from our North ********** location in July. We apologized for the inconvenience and the mistake that was made regarding her payment.  A refund was submitted for ********, July 28th and can take up to 14 business days to process back to the guest's account. I have attached a copy of the full case detailing all communication with the guest. This issue has been closed on our end in leu of receipt of the issued refund. We cannot wait to have ******** dine with us again and apologize again for the inconvenience experienced.

      This company is disgusting!Guest relations is USELESS! I have been going back and forth with these clowns for weeks now on a refund ! This company delivered sloppy cold food and sent me discounts I will not use as I will never eat here again after the way this entire situation has been handled from the looks of it this companies ceo could care less about their company nor their customers because I dont receive calls or emails just met with complete silence ! I want my entire refund at this point ! I am fuming angry!

      *************** just charged me twice!!! an additional $156 for someone else's bill, on top of my own $67 bill.My next call is union city pd if this does not grt resolved. I am now short money for rent.I am never eating at tgif again after this. Not only did they need police patrolling the parking lot, but they have ghetto staff giving away free meals to their friends on my dime.Another friend responded to my post on fb about this, and said this same thing happened to someone they know, same restaurant location.What should have been a happy occasion for a friend's birthday is now costing me late fees in rent.I am broke with no money for even gas to get to work. The manager said he'd look into it, but I still don't have my money back!!!!

      Recently TGI Fridays changed their rewards program again. My points reset to 0. In the past when they changed their program here was a link to migrate points to the new system. This time there was not. I emailed customer service and was told my points expired, but they shouldn't have. I was in to dine a couple times at least in the past year and they won't add my points back despite my points being mine. They were earned. There rewards program changed so they have no record of my points or visits or account. All I want is my points I never got to redeem back. It's ashame I have to contact the bbb as I fear the customer service will not be fair.

      On Friday, May 12, 2023, we visited TGI Fridays #****. Transaction Record: ****: 492 Table: **** Check: **** for $69.22 Employee: 165 Trace: ****** When we received our receipt, I noticed that first an order of Pot Stickers $10.29 was added to our bill. Even though they werent ours, they were supposed to be included on my daughters receipt, so we went ahead and paid for them. After we arrived home, my husband decided to balance the checking account before we threw away the receipt. Thank God that he did because not only was there a preauthorization for our purchase but for someone elses purchase of $200.33. We immediately returned to the restaurant at about 8:45 pm and requested a manager. We spoke to ****** who explained that the waiter did what apparently happens often and left the ticket open and the following transaction after ours, our credit card information was still in the system, and the customer's charges were charged to us. She further assured us that the ticket would be closed out and depending on our bank, we should see the pending status removed by Sun morning. We waited until Tues, May 16, 2023, to check the account. Our funds of $200.33 are still on hold in pending status. Now maybe that would be okay for some people, but when you are disabled and living off social security, $200 on hold for any amount of time is VERY INCONVENIENT. We went to the bank and were informed that the money cant be released until TGI Fridays released the hold not the other way around. Therefore, we went back to the restaurant at 11:00 am 5/16/2023 and spoke with ****, the *** He contradicted what we were told on Friday, and now he agrees that the credit card processing center for the restaurant will hold up payments for 3 to 5 business days. Thats all fine and good, However, why should we be penalized because of the restaurants error? We provided a $22 tip so basically, we spent $91.22 plus a $200.33 error, equaling $291.55 for a meal for two.

      I visited this facility on March17, 2023 with my girlfriend. The server discriminated against me because I am white and my girlfriend is black ( from ********). The other 3 tables the server had, who is black. Waited on them, served them within ten minutes of sitting them, food and drinks. They sat ten and fifteen minutes after **. Those two tables were black, Muslim families, he was polite, served them quickly. He was rude to me but nice to my girlfriend. We waited 15 minutes for him to take our drink order, by that time, the other tables had their food and drinks. It took 20 minutes for ** o get our drinks and forty minutes after we ordered to get our food. The other tables were finished for at least twenty minutes. I asked why he was taken so long. He started getting nasty with me, I asked if it was because I am white and my girlfriend is black and the other tables are black families. He shook his head yes and then said too bad and got mad and blamed me for questioning him on why it took so long. I complained to the company and was pushed to three different departments and they stopped responding

      Hi, my name is ************************* I attended your establishment last weekend of a party of 10 which we broke the payment down in 3 sections. My bill came up to a total of $138.17 where I did not leave a tip due to the lack of customer service provided by the waitress and was charged $412.96, which put me at a negative balance of $274.79 in the hole with my bank account. I been calling for 2 days which is very hard to reach someone and I been up there twice, but long story short I been trying to get this situation squared away before I got paid on Wednesday which is February 22nd which they ended up taking half of my check of ****** which ended up being $337.66. So it's a total amount of $612.45 that y'all took from me that I needs back.

      I placed an online order through the Friday's app. AFTER I arrived at the restaurant, I received a phone call that they were "out" of what I ordered. They would not issue me a refund. This was March 4, 2023 at about 5:20 pm at the *******, ********* location. Order #***************** $21.58 I was on the phone with an employee and the "Manager", ***, would not even get on the phone with me. He had the employee tell me that I had to contact the 1-800-Fridays number to request a refund. I have reached out to Friday's MULTIPLE times and no one has responded or reslved this issue.

      My fiancé' and I had dinner at TGIF ****** ***** ***** ****** **** on February 15th at 6:54PM. I tried a dish there that they said was "new" and it tasted terrible. I voiced my displeasure to our waitstaff, and she kindly spoke to the store manager. He then came out and basically in not so many words said "tough luck" there's not much he can do to compensate the meal because it was a promo meal that the restaurant was offering. His demeanor and attitude during our conversation was not kind as if he took offense that I didn't enjoy the meal. He only offered to take one drink charge off of the bill, and said nothing else and didn't even offer any type of other compensation for the bad experience. He said he could not break the billing on the promo charges for the meal deal, but where he stops short as a manager is NOT offering me other compensation. He could very easily have offered me a store credit or even a gift card in the amount of the one entrée at price value. I was not satisfied with is approach and his lack of being able to resolve an issue. Hence, me getting the BBB involved at this juncture, because I feel strongly as a consumer that it helps to put transparency on where it belongs so the consumer is treated well and all has been tried in order to resolve the issue. I feel they did not do their best to avoid this being escalated to TGIF's corporate leaders.
