I have been sick and in the hospital for some time. I have not had any income come in during that time. I explained it to 2 different representatives. Financing a car with chacon autos. Originally was told my car notes will be $302, but increased to $380 because I only have liability insurance which I understand. I have been paying the $380, then I go to pay my car note, now it is $458. I have not been advised of an increase and my car note should not be increased because the $302 is what is on my contract.Business Response

Date of Transaction: October 26th, 2023 Amount of money I paid to the business: my down payment for the vehicle (Kia ** 2022) was $2,300. Now my biweekly payments are $452.What was the business committed to provide you?: I was sold a vehicle I was supposed to have insurance through the company which is Chacon Autos and it is a buy here pay here used car lot. On 02/15/2024, I received a letter from Chacon Autos stating that they believe the account information to be reporting accurately which I disagree. I ask them to send me the proof of the evidence of their investigation and they failed to send me that. They are not following the Metro 2 guidelines. Also, it seems like they are not 100% sure if the account is being reporting correctly which is a violation to 15 U.S. Code ****i. In Accordance to 15 U.S. Code ****i (a)Reinvestigations of disputed information (1)Reinvestigation required (A)In general Subject to subsection (f) and except as provided in subsection (g), if the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in a consumers file at a consumer reporting agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly, or indirectly through a reseller, of such dispute, the agency shall, free of charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph (5), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer or reseller. I purchased this car July 27, 2023. Since I purchased this car there has been constant changes in the biweekly payment of $375 to $447 which is supposed to include insurance which after being pulled over by police in November, 2023 showed there was no insurance on this car. So I did obtain additional insurance yet this isnt my only issue with this company. I am currently on leave due to a medical issue from work. I called the company and informed them that I am now making only 75% of my salary and had to wait to make a late payment. Each time I have sent them ******* dollars every two weeks to be told my next car note is due in three days when I have actually been paying 5 days early. This non payment issued started with them in September when an account representing tried to tell me that I have never made a payment. This is predatory tactics at its finest and I have been paying them more and more money. Today when I spoke with ********* she told me that I must pay $635!! Why and I just paid you $504.95 on December 22, 2023 and you say that I still owe $1,500!! And that I didnt make a payment at all in December??Business Response

Attached you will find the payment history they have and the actual amounts that I have paid. Even when ****** and I were speaking she stated that I would still be in arrears $1800!! She did agree to open the payment portal so I could make a payment of $635.50 yet again Im still behind $1800!! *** worked in accounting before many years before becoming a TI employee and their numbers arent adding up. Even she stated that in the beginning there was a miscommunication about the additional $700 for the down payment on the car that I did pay. It just seems strange that once I made both car payments of $375 which included their insurance then I was told to start paying adding $72 for their insurance which made my payments increase to $447.50 every two weeks which I still paid. And I have only had this car a short period to have so much trouble. I will make the payments of $375 since I have insurance on my own insurance on the car. What I would like is also those amounts of CPI premiums refunded back to me.

I am a former customer through a ******* location. I contacted the ** ****** location ******************************************************************** search for a new vehicle & the salesman ***** was very impatient and rude. I called back twice asking to speak with a sales manager and was placed on hold, they then would hang the call up. I called back a 3rd time and they pretended to be another location placed me on hold, someone then answered and hung up. Every employee is has a standard of professionalism that they are held to and the level of professionalism that they possess at this location is extremely unacceptable.Business Response

Where do I basically start. A month after my loan was re-written with them I ended up in the hospital due to bacteria growing in my body. I literally almost died if I had waited a day later. Not only did I stress to get back to work but Ive called chacon to let them know how bad this was an all a specialist by the name of ****** could tell me was there was nothing that they could do and that they had already re written my loan as I wasnt there when it was re written. A week after that conversation I took matters into my own hands and went back to work and ended up accidentally tearing the disposable bag attached to me out which prompted emergency surgery. *** tried so many things to get the money to catch up but with no options available they have placed my account in review. My name is ***********************. I started financing a vehicle from Chacon Autos. On 11/26/2022. Its a 2016 Kia ****** Plate # SKJ0723. Vin # *****************. Stock # U470749.Account number: *******. Ive made 18 payments so far. Comes to a total of $6,138 dollars. Out of the total sale price of $24,413.23 . On 09/05/2023 the vehicle suddenly broke down while I was driving home from work. Without giving me any signs or sensors light on the dashboard. The vehicle has been sitting at my current address *************************************************************. The vehicle doesnt run, I dont know what could possibly be wrong with it so I contacted the dealership costumer service line for help but no help has been offered at all. I have proof of maintenance/ oil changes on vehicle. On 09/26/2023 I finally got a hold of a manager named ******. I spoked to him about the situation and he said to contact costumer service to request someone to come pick up the vehicle. The vehicle got picked up that same date while I was at work so the car was locked. But they still took the vehicle. After that day Ive been contacting them again for an update but nobody seems to be concerned about it and its honestly disappointing for me because for almost a month now i have to ride Uber/lyft to work and back home. Its fustrating, because Im trying to do things right and they wont help me or communicate with me.The day after the car got picked up I called CS and talked to ***, for an update on the car and he stated that he didnt know where the car had been towed to which I thought how come you dont know where the car is, the car was at their dealership. I shouldnt have to be riding Uber/lyft while they still demand payments on a vehicle that doesnt run. I just need a solution. On 09/30/2023 I decided to just go turn in the key because I received a voicemail saying they cant get to open the vehicle because they car is locked. Which I thought they should have a spare key.
