I've recently fell behind on my car note due to not being able to work while being pregnant. I have limited financial help and I've asked them multiple times if they could possibly defer my payments to help me catch up and I was told that were unable to help. I need hardship assistance and can't pay the full amount due at the moment, but I am able to pay something. This is my 2nd car with this company, I traded my first one in and I can't believe they won't even work out anything with me. Horrible customer service

I paid my auto loan off in full there was a remaining balance of 81.00 dollars I made the online payment and they wanted to bill me for insurance of 40 which i been having full coverage on the auto so they took half of the balance i paid of 81.00 dollars and applied it toward the insurance payment instead of taking the payment to pay the car off now it's showing i owe a payment of 42 dollars they refuse to applied the other funds to the balance i spoke with Rachel on Wednesday 04/20 saying she was going to forward to a manager and I spoke with a Jason on 4/21 that was rude kept cutting me off and told me they could apply the funds paid as they see fit as of now the balance of the car has been paid off they just took funds from it and applied it to the insurance which they should have not done because it was the last car payment and the car is insured. The balance should be zero not 42 dollars and not showing open

I had called Chacon Auto making payment arrangements which I could not follow through. I had an amount of $604 that I was suppose to pay. However I had explained to them my mother is in home hospice which eventually will be passing. Told them there is so many things going on right now to a point I could not work and also lost some hours due to this. I offered what ever I could pay now and the upright refused any amount I could offer at this time and to give me just give me 4 more days and I can pay in full the $604. They still refused. They said they can only hold till end of feb but I would have to pay $350 which I can't at this time. I just asked for a few more days but still refused. They want my pay stubs which I refuse to give them that information. I have enough to handle with my mother and all I'm asking is for some time. I also told them we have to move cause we no longer can afford $1600 a month rent which they increased. So needing funds for the move as well is bringing more hardship. I'm not excusing not to pay. I just need till this coming Wednesday March 2nd and I can make that payment. They are being rude and refuse anything I am offering and would not have any compassion or empathy. At this point I would not refer them to anyone. In the beginning the sales people were awesome but the people in collection of payments are just horrible.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/07) */ Chacon Autos has reviewed the account and determined the payment was received and posted. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/03/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Chacon Auto apparently waited on the day I informed them when payment will be made which was done as stated. This was all I requested from them was a couple of days. If they could have just agreed and work with me this report wouldn't have been necessary. I hope in the future for myself or any other customer that they would continue to work with us on solutions rather than against us. Especially with people who are trying their best to make it right.

I have $4000 left to pay on my car with a payment of $248 every two weeks.. I contracted Covid and got laid off of work in which I contacted the Chacon and told them my situation in which a representative told me they weren't charging late fees due to the pandemic.. I was able to make one payment but wasn't able to find work that I won't start until Sunday February 27th. Chacon is now telling me I owe $637 that has to be paid in full today. They were already notified I don't begin work until 02/27/2022 which I won't get a full check until the following week and they won't take partial payments. Now they're threatening to repossess my car

I have a car that is almost paid off I am at the end of my payment which i have paid about 10,000 instead of applying my last payments to my car loan they are applying them toward insurance payments of 40 dollars I have my own insurance but they refuse to accept it because of the deductible. When I made the payment of 252 on 02/09/2022 instead applying the 210 to my car payment and the 40 dollars to the insurance like usual they took the whole payment and applied toward insurance only

12/22/22 I opened a car loan over the phone with Chacon Autos. I paid $1200.00 on a vehicle and was understood that the 1200 would be my complete down payment. Upon arriving to pick the vehicle up I still was not advised of a $500 deferred payment until after signing paperwork and going on a week later!! This company is a fraud. I never would have paid a $1200 down payment just to have $500 deferred I understood my down payment was only 1200. Well I made a promise to pay on my account 01/28/22 however I had to rush out of town due to a sick family member. When I came back my vehicle was nowhere to be found. They reposted my vehicle and promised that if I turned in the key to the vehicle for them to do a "condition report" I would then be able to make my past due payment to get back into my vehicle. The company is now telling me that I have to pay off the whole entire car loan in order to get the vehicle back. I promised to pay on a Friday when I returned on Monday to make my payment the vehicle was GONE! I even agreed to make the payment over the when I noticed The vehicle was gone they denied to accept my payment! They are still denying me to make my past due as well as my car note to get back into my vehicle. I am not able to pay off the whole entire car loan and I was willing to catch up on my past due they didn't give me a chance. I feel as if I was jipped of my down payment and now everything is gone to waste. I don't know why they didn't give me a chance to catch up on my payments. My last vehicle I had I NEVER missed a payment they can check my credit report. I wish they would have given me a chance to get caught up they just Jip poor people. Now I have to start all over. :(
