    On November 2nd, 2022, I sent an email to ***********, GM for the Dallas/Farmers Branch location of Dallas Lease Returns after making several calls to **** and being informed that the individual who sold me the car was no longer with Dallas Lease Returns. Three attempts later, I have yet to receive an update from Dallas Lease returns and I am continuing to receive delinquent notices from ****. I provided an itemized detail from **** related to delinquent charges in the amount of $706.33 which were linked to my name following my purchase of a black 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE from Dallas Lease Returns in July 2022. Transaction data provided in the attachment indicates these charges start in February of 2022 and end in June of 2022. I did not provide a deposit to Vanessa to view the vehicle until June 29th, 2022. According to ****, my name was registered by Dallas Lease and Returns under prior license plate# ******** and new license plate#*********. I need to understand how/why this oversight occurred if my association with the car was supposed to have started with the paper tag. I do not wish to have this issue lingering, therefore I need to know and see how Dallas Lease Returns intends to remediate this issue with the State of Texas to remove my name from the prior license plate and resolve the prior delinquencies with **** before any further harm is encountered to my name or credit. I like to always assume positive intent; and my expectation is that this issue will be reviewed and resolved promptly.

    The temporary tag is expried.I spoke to my salesman about 3 weeks ago and was told it's taking more time now to get plates but they would arriving soon. The temporary plate expired on 5.21.24 and I called and emailed the salesman, he said he would get back to me and did not. I emailed him today and this was the response. " I called earlier and left you a voice message to let you know that our management staff and titles department are working to get us your plates asap. We should receive them soon and asked that I check back tomorrow. Thank you for your patience. He did not leave me a voice message. This was my response "I cant drive my car. This answer is evasive". I need an answer and dont thank me for my patience because that has exprired". I then went to the dealership and was told this was my problem not theirs and I would have to talk ****** to him if I wanted any help.. I walked outl.This is not the only complaint.After taking posession of the car, I noticed the front tires had been switched to the rear and the tread was worn on the inside of both tires. My son who drives the car told me it pulls to one side. I did notify the salesman and was told that there was not enough money in this deal to do anything about this. I told them I am going to report the inspection station that passed the inspection on this car because there is no way these tires would pass. I am trying to find out the inspection stations number to make a report.I think it's possible that this orginazation is playing games with the sales tax collected.

    ***** Hello I am sorry your plates took so long. I would like to clarify to set your mind at ease here. We submitted and paid your taxes on 4/30/2024 well before your tag expired. Unfortunately, the state took another month to get them to us. I am told ***** was able to provide you with the receipt via email on 5/24 and has called you today to arrange for us to meet you with your plates. Regarding the tires, we take photos of every tire with a tire gauge when we check the cars in. The vehicle did guage in the green for all four tires so we did not address the tires prior to sale. I am glad to forward you these photos and the state inspection that was done on the car. All that said, given the extra time it took for the plates we would love to try and help with an alignment and chip in for the tire in question if the car is pulling. Simply give us a call and we will coordinate that with you. Sorry again for the head ache here.
