On November 2nd, 2022, I sent an email to ***********, GM for the Dallas/Farmers Branch location of Dallas Lease Returns after making several calls to **** and being informed that the individual who sold me the car was no longer with Dallas Lease Returns. Three attempts later, I have yet to receive an update from Dallas Lease returns and I am continuing to receive delinquent notices from ****. I provided an itemized detail from **** related to delinquent charges in the amount of $706.33 which were linked to my name following my purchase of a black 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE from Dallas Lease Returns in July 2022. Transaction data provided in the attachment indicates these charges start in February of 2022 and end in June of 2022. I did not provide a deposit to Vanessa to view the vehicle until June 29th, 2022. According to ****, my name was registered by Dallas Lease and Returns under prior license plate# ******** and new license plate#*********. I need to understand how/why this oversight occurred if my association with the car was supposed to have started with the paper tag. I do not wish to have this issue lingering, therefore I need to know and see how Dallas Lease Returns intends to remediate this issue with the State of Texas to remove my name from the prior license plate and resolve the prior delinquencies with **** before any further harm is encountered to my name or credit. I like to always assume positive intent; and my expectation is that this issue will be reviewed and resolved promptly.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/28) */ I am sorry you are dealing with the charges from the ****. We did pull the TWIX record on the Toyota. It seems the charges and the time stamps on the invoice are for the old plate and previous owner. If **** would read the TWIX it clearly shows that plate was not registered to you, but I am sure they will want more info as my experience with them has not been very good in the past. We will get a copy of your PO to show the dates that you in fact purchased the car and call **** to see if they will let us work on your behalf here. If for so crazy reason they will not we may need you to call them and send them a copy of the PO to show you did not own the car on those dates. We prefer to do the leg work on your behalf first though so we will try that first. I am attaching a copy of the TWIX. It clearly shows you didn't get registered to the vehicle until 7/15.

I purchased a vehicle from Dallas lease return. When I got the vehicle, I've always noticed a noise in the front part of the car, felt as if something was loose. Lord and behold it was. It will shimm and the handling wasn't right. Well, I come to find out that this vehicle was in no condition to be delivered, as there was incomplete work done to it and in fact some loose parts which were never placed back to where the belonged. This is a total safety hazard and the reason why it was sold to me "cheap" is because they disclosed the car had been in a prior accident, but it was a rear end, nothing in the front. I just finished spending 1900 in repairs, and the thought of risking my life and the people around me me haunts me. I feel i was taking advantage of.

    Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/30) */ Hello ****** I am sorry to hear about your issue. I am trying to pull your file to see what I can find out about your purchase. I don't show a client under the name ****** ******* though. Could you have a different legal name? Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It was under my mother's name Cruz D Sanjurjo and ****** ******* Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/09/15) */ To Whom It May Concern - We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. *******'s concern regarding the 2014 Lexus RX 350. In 2018, we/Dallas Lease Returns arranged the financing of the vehicle only. We do not have a service or body shop facility. Independent inspection of the vehicle is the consumers responsibility as the purchaser. As part of our policy, Dallas Lease Returns arranged for an oil change service, State Inspection and provided an AutoCheck Report and CarFax report. Ms. ******* was fully aware of any previous accident and maintenance records on the Lexus. Although Ms. Cortihjo declined adding warranty coverage, Dallas Lease Returns provided the Portfolio 3 month/3,000 mile, Powertrain Warranty. There were no claims pursued or filed under the warranty. We reached out to Ms.*******. We regret for the recent concerns brought to our attention. We advised her that a dealership service department or reputable service shop would be responsible to address the mechanical and/or maintenance concerns of the vehicle. She is responsible for the cost of those repairs. Dallas Lease Returns offered to purse the option to trade her out of the vehicle. She declined. After reviewing the following supporting documents, we believe that you will agree that Ms. *******'s concerns are outside of Dallas Lease Returns obligation to pay for repairs of a vehicle purchased four years ago. We are requesting for the negative review to be removed. If further information or an additional response is required, please contact Lisa W****** at (817) 461-8677 or by email at lw******@dmautoleasing.com. Sincerely,
