To whom it may concern in the spring of 2021, we contracted Jox COnstruction and Remodeling to replace 30 plus windows. They started and finished replacing the windows in July 21, however, one window was scratched and they promised to replace it. In addition, i asked for a copy of the city inspection so i had it for my records post work. As of today, 20 Mar, 20 months past the original installation, the company has yet to replace the window, and we are still waiting on the city to inspect his work. I have 18 months of texts with the owner, **** *******, requesting updates, information, etc, and have yet to have this work completed. He has made promise after promise, and has yet to come thru. he has promised on multiple occasions a "new" contractor to install the window, which he has, but nothing has happened. His communication and sub contractor managment skills have something to be desired. i have asked that we set up a plan, normally the end of the previous week, and he rarely can play more than 2 days out. we then contracted him again ( at this point we were still waiting on the window) in the spring of 22, IOT replace a insurance resolved roof, that had hail damage. THe roof was completed in mid 22, In Aug 22, we had 2 serious leaks in my house, where our bedroom leaked (the scupper above room) and a significant leak in the dining room which water poured in whenever the rain came. The bedroom leak was identifed as the scupper not being sealed properly, and that took 4 months to fix ( found the contractor), and the dining room leak came from one of the windows in the bedroom. it took Jox until NOvember, and 2 different contractors to repair that. Then finally in Nov, we identifed the door that they replaced in Jul 21 has significantly shifted so i cant look it using the deadbolt. That door, identified in Nov 22, still hasnt been replaced but we get promises that it will occur. Jox blames not himself, but the pandemic and the lack of a work forceBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, HOWEVER, we do NOT agree to a month extention. I just talked with the owner of Jox C/R and agreed to an extention thru Friday, 16 Jun 2023, which will be the last extention. He also agreed to communicate frequently by text and voice, the plan IOT allow my family to plan for days off to have the work dun. To reiterate the warrenty work required; (1) Front small window has a scratch that was noticed Jul 21, it was agreed to be replaced and i am told the window is onhand (2) The house requires a window inspection to be completed by the city post installation, which has never been done since windows were installed Jul 21. We request of copy of the city inspection after it has been completed (3) a screen from a upstairs window that was not replaced, had a few holes in it, and Jox C/R said they were going to fix it and return it in Jul 21, still waiting on the screen, and finally, (4) the bedroom door that was replaced in Jul 21 is now mis-aligned, which does not allow the security lock to lock properly, and the frame is cracked in the upper left hand side. Jox C/R agreed to replace the entire door in Jan 23 so that needs to be completed as well, and we were told that the door is also available and ON HAND. Again, i have no issue providing one last extention thru 16 Jun 2023.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction is 5/17/21. This was a simple master bath/shower remodel and an Alumawood Patio cover with counter, gas grill, and sink with french drain, also cement around parts of my house and driveway. I paid all to ******* ******* in May of 2021. 2 weeks later he immediately did the cement. His guys came back and did some of bathroom a month later after I kept on him. His guy did a horrible job. Didn't finish the shower leaving cracks in wall. No one has ever came back to finish. ******* ******* told me backyard will be done no later than August of 2021. It is almost January 2023 and backyard is not done with garbage all over my yard and cracked damaged cement that his men layed. There is always an excuse of his men need to finish other projects or he's at a meeting, doing inventory, sick, etc. The material he used was cheaper and not the same as what was on contract. He even told me in our meeting that he owes me 6k back, he said he can't pay it now (it's in text I uploaded to you). Yesterday was the deadline I gave him, which was extended from he promised it would be done by Thanksgiving. He said he has family in town. His worker came and threatened to sledgehammer his work because ******* didn't pay him the money taken from me. His other worker stole 300 dollars from me saying he would put speakers in on the day of my girlfriends party. He never did! When I asked him for my money back, he said ******* needs to give it to me. ******* would also leave town and go to other sites not watching his men work on my property. Only once his men stayed 8 hours in my backyard. They would tell me they'd be by at 8am and wouldn't show until 10am. They would then take a lunch 2 hours later, come back at 1pm and leave at 2pm all the time along with taking breaks in between and leaving snack trash in my yard. His workers also said they can't finish because **** didn't buy/bring the materials. I have waited 18 months. I gave him a guy to finish job too!Business Response

Good afternoon, this is ******* ******* owner of JOX Construction & Remodeling. I have been in constant contact with **** ****** on finishing up his project. I have told him that i was working on getting my bond money to complete his job. I am working with my Insurance company so that I may get the appropriate amount to complete his job. I had paid a Contractor to finish this project but with no response to any of my phone calls I can not get a hold of them. Mr. ****** is aware of what's going on as of this date, he recommended a contactor that he knows that can finish up this job. I told Mr. ****** that I would take care of the bill so that we may finish up what needs to be done. Today is January 31, 2023, I will be in contact with **** ****** later this week to discuss on what is going to happen with the bond insurance money and when it will be available?
If you have any questions regarding this matter please feel free to contact me anytime.
Sincerly
