    Couch was purchased new from their show room floor. Couch was delivered on 12/28/23 and was not able to be assembled due to the condition of the couch. The couch bottom is ripped & one leg has a gap that doesnt touch the floor allowing an entire hand to fit underneath. Owner wants to collect 20% restocking fee due to them having to have their delivery team return the couch. I did not change change my mind, this is their only couch this model and its unable to be assembled. ************** were sent by myself and their delivery team within 15 minutes of theyre arrival to both owners. *** (owner) called me and told me hed have the couch returned and refund my purchase. Within 5 min of that conversation, his wife ****** calls to tell me shes withholding 20% for the restocking fee.The purchased item is only going back because their product quality was unable to be assembled. I have 2 videos to submit but its only allowing photos. I need to be able to submit the videos to ensure the issue is fully understood.

    Looking at the pictures The under side dust protector is slightly torn. The large gap is a zipper that is unzipped. The uneven portion of the furniture is misrepresented. We have inspected the piece and is not flawed in any way. Although with the customers concerns, we have picked up the furniture from the customer for a refund.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Owner is now stating he will not be issuing a full refund. Hes demanding I pick up the check from his warehouse. I was asked for the mailing address just 2 days ago for the check to be sent to.

    I will not be meeting the owner at his warehouse thats 40 min from my location. Check or CC that was used will suffice. 

    See attached for todays conversation via text. I need to submit the two videos on the day of the deliver to ensure the issues with the items delivered were not in working order. Whats the best way to submit those? 

    At this point this is considered theft. Theyve had the couch since the day of delivery, & its currently on their show floor for sale.
