We've been approached by Elite Sports Promos multiples time to support a local highschool football and basketball team. We committed two different times to sponsor banners that were supposed to be hung in the gym and on the football field. After recently contacting the athletic director at the school, we were horrified to find out that this company was not hired by the school, none of the monies have been given to the school and the banners were never hung as promised. We would like a full refund for the $2,000 we have paid.Business response

Elite Sports Promo is calling local businesses saying they are part of our school district and stealing $1000's from local businesses. Not only is it hurting the business who thinks they will get banners on the football field and in the gym, but they hurt the local booster club because now they are losing sponsors. This company is a fraud and DO NOT do business with them. They are misrepresenting themselves and are not associated with your local school or recreation districts.Business response

We have signed contracts with local high schools that are signed by cheer coaches who are responsible for distributing and displaying the items we send them. We can provide any signed contract and tracking information with proof of delivery at any time. Our graphic designers work directly with our customers to create business logos and use the approved school logo sent to us in the initial email thread we have between cheer coaches and our staff giving us permission to use school name and mascot.Initial Complaint

We ordered a banner for our local high school basketball program. As we are approaching a new school year, we asked the high school if they could hang the banner we ordered from last year because it was never hung last season. The athletic director told me she is the point of contact, and has no record of receiving any funds from our company. And although we received an invoice for our purchase, we never received a shipping or delivery receipt, and neither did the high school. Upon further research and investigation, we learned that this company has scammed several local businesses with the same promise of being affiliated with our high school. They will not return my calls or emails.Business response

Our company received a call from Elite Sports Promos regarding a possible sponsorship for a local high school football program. We were told we were buying a banner to display at the local high school football field. We paid for the banner and received an invoice. Upon needing information regarding the banner artwork, we tried contacting the company several times through phone and email. We received no response. Due to this, we decided to look deeper into the company (which we regret not doing beforehand) and saw several other complaints with stories similar to ours. After disputing the charge with our bank and realizing this was a SCAM, someone from "Elite" called us AGAIN trying to sell us more products. We brought up the lack of response and asked further questions to which the person had inadequate answers. Scams like this that target small businesses should be ashamed. Don't fall for it!Business response

I have attached the email thread between the art department and the sponsor. She asked for examples of our product which we provided and never received a response. We are pending the order until we retrieve art work from this sponsor, no refund will be issued at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:We received a reply to my message about the artwork only after we confronted the company over the phone about ignoring our emails and calls, as well as the whole thing being a scam. This company does not work with the high school they say they do. They are liars.

I was contact on May 22,2023 regarding sponsorship for local ************ ******************* I informed *********************** that the company I work for would sponsor and purchased a 3x3 ad on t-shirt and a banner to be hung for the ***** athletic season and 6-8 shout outs during the football season. I also was informed we were industry inclusive there would not be another Dermatologist added to the tee or to the banner. I mistakenly provided my personal card and not the company card. I sent an email to ****** asking her to void and I would provide company card. When I first spoke with her she informed me I'd receive an email to look over to confirm and I had to reply ok to progress in order for them to run the card. When I realized my error I immediately sent her a text after i returned from lunch. I also sent an email to the email I'd received from customer service asking for my okay while i was at lunch. I advised **************** do not run the card which i need almost immediately receive a receipt of payment posted to my personal card. ******* from Customer called me and I told him of error he said okay I can refund you that if you want to give me the other card number. I told him no send me receipt its been refunded to my card and I'll provide you with the company card. I began research at that point and discovered that are numerous complaints against this companies and this money not products get sent to the school. I also contact ****************** and they are not aware of the company as they solicit for their own sponsorships. I am asking for the full refund it has been two days since I spoke with **************** and have ask for a refund with no results. They have been sent no logo and I sent an email to their ************** telling them no to progress as I had ask for a refund. Also, please note they advertise as Elite Sports Promo the address on the W9, CC receipt and the purchase order do not match.Initial Complaint

On 2/14/23 Elite Sports Promos contacted several of our local businesses. One of our businesses gave money, $1500, to this company for a 6'x 3' banner and t-shirts with the business advertisement name on them. We did not approve any company to sell advertisements on our behalf. We reached out to this "company" several times with no response. They are a scam!Initial Complaint

My business was contacted by Elite Sports to sponsor a local high school's football team. They stated that the banner I paid for will be up for one year from August 2022 until August 2023. They also stated that during the football games, T-shirts with my company's logo on it will also be thrown to the crowd. All of this was a scam. I visited the school and confirmed this was all made up. I paid Elite Sports $1,100 believing this to be true. A few months later they contacted me to ask me to sponsor the basketball team. I told them that what they promised me before did not happen and they told me that they would look into it and place it as a priority and try to resolve the issue. I never heard from them again about the issue. I would like a complete refund of the money that I was scammed out of.Business response

I have also attached our signed contract we have with **************************. The high School is solely responsible for distributing these items once received. We have 3 tracking numbers for Tshirts and Banners sent to ************** for the 2022 football season ************, 585262489080, 585262489090. I am rejecting this response because: I paid $1,000 for a banner with the promise that it would be hung up on the Football field from August 2022 to August 2023. I was deceived by Elite Sports evident through the follow up email. I would like to be refunded due to being deceived.

I received a solicitation on 7/18/2022 From Elite Sports to sponsor the local high school basketball team. In the beginning I believed them to be a legitimate business. But after having waited well past the beginning of the local basketball season I realized that something was wrong. Although I was, as others were, repeatedly contacted about additional purchases I was assured that my order was secure and in process. But now after several attempts to contact Elite by phone with no answer at any other numbers they had previously provided, I reached out to the school and was told they had NO relationship or contract with Elite. When I looked for reviews and then at the BBB website it is now clear Elite had no intention of honoring my $710 purchase and was actually engaged in a fraudulent internet solicitation scam. I'm hoping that at the least there is some sanction or penalty that can be assessed on this business and its owners. The best outcome would be the return of my payment, but I am not confident that is going to be possible without a court action to be filed in *****, which is impractical given that I am in *********. The purchased T-shirts for Basketball Season ***** have been processed and delivered to ***************************. I have also attached the Fed ex delivery information showing they have been delivered. A refund will not be issued.
