I have received negative reports for $1566 on my credit report, so there are two charges. The charges come from ************** and were purchased from Texas Medicine Resources out of **********, **. I have never been there, so I'm not sure what these charges are, but they both are negatively affecting my credit report.Business Response

I sent a check to Midwest Inpatient on May 6, 2024 in the amount of $42.75 and it was cashed on May 8. The check should have been made out to ***********************. I have talked to customer service multiple times, explaining my error. I was told in July that a refund check was mailed to me. I have not received a check from Midwest Inpatient. In the last two weeks I was told the company would check to see if the check was cashed and by whom. My last two contacts have been with *****. She informed me that she had no supervisor I could talk to, no email address, no other phone number. They are not listed on the Internet. I simply do not know what other options I have. A recorded message says to check my bill for various ways to contact them. I don't have a bill because I do not owe anything. Unfortunately I had the check made out to the wrong company.Business Response

TEXAS MEDICINE RESOURCES ************************************* ACCOUNT# ******************* I am sending this letter to you to give you an additional opportunity to remove the aforementioned account from the collection agency. Please remove this account from collections and delete it from my credit report, if you have not already done so.According to HIPPA, you have no permissible business reason to supply a third party collection agency any information regarding myself or my medical history due to no money being owed. I have no desire to cause you unnecessary difficulty, however this unnecessary negative information reporting on my credit profile is beyond damaging.Once I receive the response from the credit reporting agencies and if the account HAS NOT been deleted, I will be forced to take action to protect my rights as a consumer under HIPPA, **** and FACTA rules and regulations. Rather than go through what would undoubtedly be a hassle for both you and I, please do as you have been instructed and what is right according to ***** requirements. While, I would rather handle this between you and myself, I am prepared to do what needs to be done to protect my rights.I thank you in advance for your immediate attention to this matter.Business Response

1. *** hospital was provided the Tricare information for my visit to the *** 2. *** hospital itself was able to file a claim and get paid without issue.3. I never received a separate bill from the ** physician. 4. I did received a "collection of debt" notice 5 months after the ** visit. Texas Medicine Resources had the correct phone number and correct mailing address but sent this to collection instead of sending a bill. 5. After calling and talking to *************************** "Ro" the most SNOTTY and RUDE person I've ever encountered, I was advised that this should have been billed to Tricare and I provided the Tricare information to them, again. 6. At this point the bill should have been paid. I then received another "collection of debt" communication 3 months later. 7. After 2 hours and ELEVEN phone calls to the Texas Medicine Resources, it was determined that Texas Medicine Resources sent the Rendering Tax ID with the WRONG Provider NPI number. 8. Having to conference Texas Medicine Resources with Tricare (which they do not take kindly to) **** at TMR didn't even understand what a Provider NPI (National Provider Identification number) was. How can you be a physician billing company and NOT KNOW what an NPI is???? 9. **** had to retype the full claim and to mail it to Tricare to get it processed. I don't even know if they have the correct Physician NPI to go along with the Federal Tax ID, so this is probably NOT going to get resolved after 9 months. This company is INEPT at best and they use fear and rudeness to try and collect bills that should have already been resolved but isn't because of THEIR **ROR!Business Response

I have gotten 2 bills from this company and I do not know what they are for and cannot seem to get resolution. TODAY I find out this has been sent to collections and it is negatively affecting my credit score drastically. I pay my bills and take these things seriously. It seems to be a scam to me. My bill says Emergency services but my medical insurance has paid my emergency visit bills and if I owe something additional I need to understand what it is and set up a payment plan not be sent to collections. I need to be able to reach someone who can explain this to me. Can someone call me please to explain bill charges and can someone please get this collections reporting stopped so I can regain my score. ?????Business Response

I received a bill for a duplicate and incorrect billing from this company for services provided at the Texas ***************************************. The initial claim was filed and processed correctly by the hospital and my insurance provider, and the deductible was paid by myself. However, several months later, I received a duplicate (and incorrect) bill from this provider. I have called their billing line 3 times now, but it automatically disconnects once you reach 30 minutes on hold. I have yet to reach one of the customer ******************** reps they claim is waiting to assist me.Business Response

I received a Bill for Texas Medical resources for ******. I have never availed any services from them. Whatever medical expenses were incurred during my last hospital visit were covered by my insurance company and deductible were instantly paid. I checked with my healthcare provider and they informed me that all my payments have been taken care off and no amount is outstanding. This looks like a medical scam. I would like you to please inform Texas medical resources to remove the fraudulant bill and do not send it to credit reporting agency as I am very serious about my credit and do not want any collections activities to be initiated for an already paid bill.Business Response

I am writing to address a concerning matter related to an account listed on my credit report, which identifies Texas Medicine Resources as the original creditor of a debt that was subsequently sold to *******************.I am requesting that you provide me with the debt validation letter that should have been sent to me. Currently, I have no recollection of holding a balance with your company or receiving any correspondence regarding the sale of the account due to non-payment. Additionally, I did not receive a Form 1099-C when the account was reportedly charged off.I would like to highlight that, according to the **************** Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Law, consent is required for the disclosure of personal health information. Since I do not recall having an account with your company, I presume that no consent was granted for such disclosure.I kindly request that you address these concerns promptly and provide the necessary documentation to resolve this matter. Your cooperation in rectifying any inaccuracies and providing the required information will be greatly appreciated. If you cannot furnish the requested documentation, remove this account from my credit report for violation of FCRA and HIPAA Laws.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I am only willing to discuss anything via BBB which is why I sent the complaint in case we need to proceed to court. The mailing address you may have been not accurate and there is not a residence where I receive mail at this time. If you are willingly able to mail information, please send the requested information via BBB or remove the account from my credit report.

I just got a hit on my credit through Experian from a collection agency claiming I owed $1,341. I do NOT recognize the original creditor (which claims to be Texas Medicine Resources) or the amount I supposedly owe. The credit agency that dinged my credit for collections is **************. I have never received any correspondence from them by mail or even those harassing creditor phone calls. No calls and no voice mails had ever been received in regards to this alleged debt I supposedly owed. I've put in a dispute with the credit bureau as well. If they claim I owe them, I want detailed supporting documents (i.e. dates of service, detailed account of everything I am being charged, what doctor, location of visit, etc). If they cannot provide me with originl documentation of supposed service, I demand this be REMOVED from my credit immediately!Business Response

On 8/26/23 I received treatment at ************ hospital and received that service from ******************. I was then charged by the hospital and set up a payment plan to pay my fee. I then received another bill from an outside company trying to collect from the same date of service and hospital visit. This was not disclosed at the time of visit that I would be charged twice for the same thing. I also received little to nothing from ****************** when I saw him. Texas Medicine Resources have now sent this bill to collections and I am now receiving threats of this debt being placed on my credit. Almost $2000 for a prescription for back pain and a couple of questions answered. I do not believe this to be fair or even legal but obviously I am not a lawyer. There has to be some type of adjustment that can be made.Business Response
