On Thursday September 19, 2024, my husband and I went To this establishment to repair our daughters iPad mini (5th gen) as the screen was broken and malfunctioning. We suspected water damage and just the display was effected. One gentleman, his name unknown however he has light green eyes, told us what needed to be done and how much it would cost at first he said $200. My husband wanted to walk and get a quote from elsewhere as that was out of our budget. He then proceeds to tell us he would repair it by Saturday the 21st for $160 and include a free phone case. We decided thats a good turn around time so we paid $164 then and there with the expectation to pick up on Saturday. Fast forward to Saturday afternoon I went In there alone with my daughter (husband was working out of town) to the unfortunate surprise that my product was not only there but not even being worked on yet. The other two gentlemen assured me they would work on it and call me Sunday morning. I left Very displeased. I did Not receive a call Sunday. Monday afternoon my husband comes home and we go up there to see whats going on with the iPad. A different gentlemen was rummaging through various shelves to find our product. He hands it to us and upon reviewing the iPad I noticed the screen was not placed in properly or secure. The volume buttons are bent and the lock button is non functioning. On top of that, it appears the actual iPad framing itself is bent. They told us that it was our fault and we brought it in that way. NOT TRUE AT ALL. We requested our money back and he told us he was unable to do that. He again offered a phone case. AS IF THAT WILL CHANGE THE DAMAGE CAUSED. The gentleman said he was not the technician who fixed the iPad but he will be there the following day and will call us. It is now Sunday 9/29/2024 and we have not received any response from the team.
