I had an awful experience here. In March my first treatment was ok, I remember some issues with the shape, one tip more blunt than the other but color was ok. Second treatment April 21 was jet black, nothing like I wanted. ******** said let it fade, but I was concerned and wanted help. People were saying things, telling me I had to do something. I contacted the owner ***** and she attempted a color correction which totaled over $750 Id spent there. The second and third treatments were extremely painful, I needed breaks during the treatment to make it. It was more painful than a tattoo, which isnt normal. The correction peeled away and the black remained. The shape is still not symmetrical. ***** didnt care about what I was going through. She blamed me for everything. She told me this would fade in 3-5 years. I called permablend makers of the pigment and their product doesnt fade away, it will always be there. They also said it only turns blue when an artist goes too deep. Two other permanent make up artists told me it will never go away. Im stuck with removal which is $1800 and will take me 48 months minimum and after each treatment I have to wear bandages for **** days. I can not recommend this business. I look awful and am reminded of my bad decision everyday. My niece just told me last night she cant take me serious because my brows. Ive been asked if Ill ever look the same. Its been awful. Do not go here if you want a natural look, their work is aggressive and nothing like the work I expected.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/27/2023

To start this is been already addressed to the clients satisfaction per text with image attached to show this.

This client *************************** came to ** in March 2022 for a correction and cover up of previous work. Per clients text attached imamges, ******* had her brows done by some other artist named ***** and ******* was very unhappy with the result and how they healed from the previous artist.
******* booked to have the brows corrected and coveredfrom a previous artist and agree to our terms conditions and agreed to understanding of healing process.
At A Nurses Touch making sure our clients are happy is our most important goal. All of our clients get to pick out the color. Everything is mapped to the face as our clients pick out the measurement. Even at the end of the appointment all clients get to take a look at the brow before we are done to see if there is anything they would like added, changed or adjusted. For correction and cover up the appointment and results are more of a variable since we are not removing the previous work. We do not know what kind of products was used by the previous artist.
All clients that book must agree to terms and conditions before placing a deposit down and it is also signed again in person.
******* signed and agreed to these terms:
CORRECTIVE OR TOUCH-UP OF A PREVIOUS BROW TATTOO
The cost is the same if you need a touch-up and not a correction. Prior to booking your correction appointment, clients must send pictures via text when booking with ***** at ************  or booking with ******** at ************ so we can see if they can be revised. We can not guarantee results for corrective/cover-up work If previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or too large, tattoo removal *** be required.  Some corrections and cover-*** *** require additional appointments to achieve the desired look.

THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OR REFUNDS
How long permanent makeup last is different from person to person. All procedures are semi-permanent and how long they last vary, since everyone heals and fades differently.  You *** need a color boost sooner or later than other clients. Initial Permanent makeup requires a minimum of 2 appointments though rare, some clients *** need additional color booster appointments to achieve their desired look. If you choose one of the Permanent Brows, Lips, or Liner techniques you can get up to 2 years or longer but it all depends on how you heal. How your skin absorbs, metabolizes and oxidizes the ink is different from person to person. Your final result and healing process will be different compared to other clients. There is no guarantee or refund based on how long your ink lasts or how your final look *** appear and how your body reacts or heals with it.

For ******* comments on this issue; ******* came in in March 2022 she stated via text and call she was happy with the result of the 1st appointment with ********. On the 2nd appointment more ink is added and the brows are rebalanced. All clients need a touch up. No one will ever heal or fade perfectly when healing. This is why we book the touch up before we do the 1st procedure which is an industry standard. Clients can hold about 75% to 85%of each appointment and as a registered nurse I can tell you everyone heals differently. ******* stated they were black, but we do not have black ink available for brows, only shades of brown the clients get to pick from. ******* started sending 400 word texts almost daily as she healed. I told her we need to wait for the body to heal and we can talk about it in 8 weeks. I also talked to her on the phone 5 different times explaining the procedure but she didn't seem to understand the variable of healing. I offered a complimentary touch up which I did personally. I was able to talk to her and lighten the brow color and I told her there was no charge, that we just want our clients to be as happy as possible. ******* was so happy with the result said she would pay even though she did not have to. ******* paid and left a large tip and texted me how happy she was.
5 months later ******* started sending more ************************************************************************ to watch. She wrote a bad review on yelp and I again reached out to her. I again offered to refund her the last touch up to keep the peace since I told her I did that complementary. She took down the review and was happy with the last touch up refund. Christys brows are not botched in any way. She was a cover up and the ink naturally fades to ash as the body metabolizes the warm pigment 1st. I have spent hours talking to her and explaining how the body heals and the variable on how the body heals but there seems to be a lack of retention for this information. At a Nurses touch we love what we do and we want our customers to be as happy as possible, but this customer has false expectations of results. She agreed to the medical procedure with no guarantee or result promised and her last text does show I made an effort to make her happy.
