    On June 22, 2023, I made a copay of $491.06 to ******************************* and his office for my daughter's surgery to be done on June 27, 2023 per insurance agreement and deductible not met. After the surgery, my insurance was billed and our EOB stated my responsibility was only $102.31. My insurance, United Healthcare, already made a payment to ******************** on July 13, 2023. I called his office numerous times asking for a credit and I submitted proof of my EOB stating UHC already paid his office and my account should have a credit. The billing department kept saying they will escalate my case and allow them 30 days to process the claim. I asked for the case number and the representative name. Every other month, when I called back to follow up on the case since it's past 30 days I still haven't received my refund, the case was escalated again and the representative said there's a glitch in the system so my claims couldn't be processed. Months after months, still no refund was made to me. On April 12, 2024, I called the billing department again and spoke with ****, he said he will escalate the case again, but he noticed my visit on December 12, 2023 was denied by insurance so I need to pay for that visit before the billing company is willing to reimburse my credit from the June 2023 surgery. I asked for the self-paid price for the December 2023 visit since insurance denied the claim due to no referrals from my PCP. **** said he will talk to his manager and get back to me. Fast forward to May 5, 2024, I still haven't heard back about the self paid price for my December visit nor did I ever get a refund for my June 2023 surgery credit. I've been calling **** back every week, but I'm getting his voicemail and when he called back, he said he will "escalate" and prioritize my case. Nevertheless, it's been 10 months and I'm still not getting anymore with the billing company for a refund for my June 2023 visit.
