I ordered an air intake for my 2023 Jeep Wrangler jl during black friday sale. I have received 2 faulty kits now and a replacement tube that only had one out of three holes punched in the plastic for screws. Was told ** would have to resolve the problem. I called and spoke with a *** a couple weeks ago in regards to the situation and was told you're in luck. The kits have been taken off hold and there are 41 on hand and mine will ship soon. Another week goes by. I call again and speak to a manager/lead. He confirms that if I was a new customer they would and are shipping out kits but can't ship me one until they make sure it doesn't blow my jeep up. I called back today and this *** tells me to stop calling and they will send it when it's ready. I was told in a prior conversation I would receive a discount and now this *** tells me no. Either wait or we will refund your money. Terrible way to right a wrong. I've been in retail for 17 years and never treated a customer like this. You take care of the customer because they are the ones that keep you in business. You right a wrong by not only fixing the problem but but going above and beyond to make it right.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for the frustrations you have experienced with the product and related concerns. Working with our ************* and manufacturing, we were able to have a full kit assembled and checked to verify it was manufactured correctly. The intake was checked by our QC team, the head of Manufacturing, and the Director of **************** to verify proper fit. That intake was shipped overnight via ***** and shows it was delivered on Friday Jan 24, 2025. As for the discount, we have discussed the available options with Mr. ******** and he stated that he is satisfied with the resolution on the discount.Customer Answer

I made an online purchase of an air filter and a pair of windshield wiper blades, which the website confirmed fit my exact vehicle. I made the purchase on Nov 9th. The wiper blades didnt fit. When I contacted them to send me a return label, I was informed that the cost of shipping to return the item was too expensive, and a refund would be issued, and I was free to do as I wished with the blades. Ive enclosed a screenshot of the email they sent me on Nov 22nd that included a credit reference #. We are coming up on almost a month and Ive yet to receive my refund. Ive called repeatedly to inquire, and I continue to be told by customer service that theyre unable to see any further status beyond their initial refund request. They said I would have to contact the accounting ***** Ive contacted them, and nobody answers the phone. Ive left repeated messages demanding a status call, with no response to date. I placed an order for a cold air intake from K&N ON 10/26/24. I was fully aware that they do not process orders on weekends, and stated on their website that they take 1-3 business days to ship out. The item was not out of stock. I waited until 10/30 to send them an email asking for an status update. No response. I called their customer service and they told me that I have to wait because "they're processing the order". I emailed them again 10/31 and no response. I called again and they stated they're backed up with orders. I asked if they could get in contact with the warehouse department just to see where my order is on the queue. She then put me on hold and came back and said she spoke with her supervisor and her supervisor said that it would not be possible for her to contact the warehouse department as there is no way to contact them. I then asked if there is not a way to find out, is there a way for them to accommodate me for the delay by expediting my shipping method. She stated that her supervisor recommended me to cancel the order and replace the order and choose my desired shipping method. It's frustrating too see the company's customer service supervisor told me to cancel my order and spend more of my own money to try and expedite a package that they can't fulfill in the stated timeframe of their own website.Business Response

I purchased several items from K&N and one of the items did not work on my ******. I requested a return authorization and they issued it to me. #***********. I returned it on 08/02/2024 and they received it on 08/14/2024 by ***. I contacted customer service about my refund and they confirmed that they received the item. Now I would have to wait for my refund. When I did not receive anything, I called them again and they said I should contact accounts payable to get my refund. I called several times and have already spoken to 3 people with no result about my money back. They have not returned a call or email. (They have all my information on hand) I am filing a complaint about the terrible customer service they have and because I feel like they are ignoring me, to keep my payment after receiving their product back.Business Response

I purchased an item from them and it was a different item than what I thought. I requested a return authorization and was issued one from them. #RGN0233713. I purchased the K&N cold air intake, part number *******KP for my 2017 ****** Tacoma. Upon receiving the kit, I noticed it was missing a vent, part number 08911-2. I called K&N to get a replacement. Their response was that they are out of stock and have no ETA of when or if it would ever be restocked! They suggested contacting Amazon to get another kit which I did. I just received that box and that kit is ALSO missing the exact same part! I called again and was given the exact same answer! I asked how a company can sell something without supplying all necessary hardware to install it? Their response was that they cant answer that question! I am totally upset with the lack of support and reckless irresponsible business ethic they have; or lack there of!I would like someone to check into this and correct their business practice! Placed my order July 5th, I was fully aware that the company was closed the 4th & 5th for the holiday and understand that would affect processing a shipping. Today is now July 17th and after one phone call on 7/15 and the agent stating that the company was behind because of the holiday that the item was preparing for shipping and would ship out that day. After not receiving any shipping information I called back 7/16 and another rep stated that it was not preparing to ship and there was no estimated ship date. It clearly states that "Most available items ship within 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday). The shipping method selected does not include order processing time" over a week for processing is absurd and is unacceptable in a time of automation and streamline network.Business Response

The glitch in this process was with the shipper, since their delivery handlers were damaging the boxes of the product during the shipping and handling process, and then returning them to our facility. On July 5, 2023, I placed an online order (order #***********) with K&N Engineering. On July 13, I emailed K&N regarding an ETA on delivery since a week had passed and my order had not yet been shipped. On July 14, K&N responded to my email stating that my order was shipped that day and provided a tracking number for ***** and a delivery date of July 17. After not receiving the item on July 17, I checked the ***** tracking number, which showed that the label had been created but ***** had not yet received the item. I sent another inquiry email to K&N Engineering asking for a new ETA on delivery and I received no response. On July 18, I sent another inquiry and again received no response. The ***** tracking has not changed and still shows that they have not received the item in order to ship it. However, as of today, the K&N website shows my order status as completed. My debit card was charged in full for the purchase on July 14. I do not want to cancel the order, I only wish to have my order fulfilled and the item delivered as promised.Business Response
