Purchased a truck from them recently. Was told they already ran my credit before I got there to make the purchase. When I got there, I instead get hit with 12 different credit notifications on my phone and told I was denied co sign so I had to finance myself. The discussed price changed at point of purchase. The salesman disappeared and hid in another cubicle. The sales manager was an incompetent hillbilly with a disgusting attitude, and complete smart a$$. They have a frat boy culture there and you can tell as soon as you walk in. Just a bunch of kids with no respect and think they know more than their customers. The sales manager was so unprofessional with handling customers, I had to withhold myself from punching him in the face.I left my license on the desk during the dispute (my fault) and upon asking to get it back they said they never seen it, I know they just threw it away. 1 month later after *** owned the truck I called my bank to make the first payment, noticed it was never withdrawn from my account. After 6 phone calls to the dealership I find out they switched my financing to another bank and never told me.after I signed the contract. This place is a horrible unprofessional dealership. Upper management does not care at all about anything other than bringing in money. If you want to go purchase from a bunch of f boys barely out of highschool that cant handle adult interactions, and then get scammed and mis treated; This is the place for you.

Made a purchase with *********************** with ************* in June 2023, last year. Paid with a legal & lawful negotiable instrument. All communications were via email. We asked ************* to make sure that the instrument cleared their bank before us purchasing the vehicle. GF delivered the truck to us. Within a week later, we get pulled over by *******, ** police stating the car was reported stolen. The documents were on my phone, they would not let me show them, we were automatically disregarded/dismissed and found to be a criminal without any investigation. I told the police to call GF to come and bring the physical papers but the police said they were coming but never did show, lie. The next day, the Grapevine Police detective ************************* called and told me that GF dealership should never have released the vehicle without the funds clearing the bank. There was clearly no mens rea on our part! They are conspiring to imprison and villify the consumer who by law can utilize Negotiable Instrument, read the laws, ask ***************** Treasury. ******, ** police confiscated the vehicle without allowing to show all ownership paperwork and emails that proved GF lied and told us the funds had cleared their bank to harm us, how evil. ******* told us they would return the instrument and it has NOT been returned. On 4.1.2024 while visiting *********, ** and being stopped by *********/***** ** police, ****************************************, they arrested ******* saying that there was a warrant for Felony Larceny without our knowledge at all. RELEASE ******* now, proud veteran! Emails and voice recordings to prove mens rea/malicious intent, conspiracy, etc. by Grapevine Ford and all involved. GF said the instrument was returned to us but it was not, lie. Why wouldn't a company want to see our evidence, such as emails and voice recording which would clearly cause ******* to be released immediately? I see that this is a common practice for Grapevine Ford! I pray someone will help me!

Please note that customer used a non-valid check to purchase the vehicle. This case is currently in the hands of the Grapevine Police Department and the customer should contact them directly regarding their issue. Thank you.

We always appreciate feedback from our customers in efforts to improve each aspect of vehicle purchasing and repair, so thank you for letting us know about the issue. This particular instance shed light on a reckless employee who is no longer with the company, and we hope the actions of one individual are not used to represent the entire dealerships staff committed to our customers satisfaction. We want your long-term business and any treatment of our clients or their vehicles that is not representative of how we would treat our own family that will not be tolerated. We have taken the appropriate corrective measures to address this unacceptable occurrence and are currently working towards an agreeable resolution to re-earn your trust and confidence. Thank you again for choosing to purchase your vehicle from Grapevine Ford Lincoln.

Just purchased a 2022 used car from them. Not a bad experience. Was told that the previous owners only turned in one key. We signed paperwork indicating that there was only one key. There was an opportunity to purchase a second key. Idk how they could program a General Motors key/feyfob at a **** dealership. But Ok. We declined purchasing a second key. After a few days we found and contacted the previous owner and asked about the car and it's history. We also inquired about the second key maybe they had it and could send it to us. They responded that they had indeed given Grapevine Ford both keys/keyfobs. Why would the previous owner lie about that? Maybe the dealership "misplaced" the second set? You can decide that. Doesn't really speak well about Grapevine Ford.

We appreciate your business and are pleased to hear that your pre-owned vehicle purchase was a good experience. We apologize that the 2nd key FOB was not available for your vehicle; but it is not standard with our pre-owned inventory. If the second key is not present at the time of sale and delivery,we document it as missing optional equipment in our effort to be as upfront and transparent as possible.

We do offer customers interested in obtaining a second key the opportunity to purchase another from us via a vendor we utilize to support our off-brand makes and models. However, in this case, your preference was to opt out.

I have made several attempts to reach you to answer any questions and be available to offer further assistance. You are welcome to contact me with regards to this issue.

Again,we are sorry for the lack of the 2nd key. We appreciate your business and welcome your feedback - your satisfaction is our priority.

Everything I've read in the reviews where true, just helped my son purchase a used truck that was marked up several thousand of dollars, due to spare keys and LoJack charges, and accessories that ik for a fact grapevine didn't install nor add on! These guys are a joke, so we back and forth over a week of negotiating prices and intrest rates on the vehicle because my credit isn't perfect but nor bad either. Little that they know I just bought the same truck for myself. So they start at a rate of 22% and continue to beg me to sign the paperwork and send in text to hold the vehicle. I didn't because I wanted to review everything in person. So after several attempts we got the payment and rates where we was comfortable. Once we go to sign the contract with added gap, they put everything we negotiated off back on the contract. And dropped the rate but raised the ***** Then charged us another fee for moving the payment too 8 days later. These guys are hypocrites and lost my business. I have the names and everything text and number that taken advantage of me. They will be hearing from my attorney!!!!!

I'm not sure how **** allows dealerships to charge what they want but charging $20,000 over sticker is just taking advantage of loyal for customers.

We are sorry that you are upset with our pricing. We certainly understand that these increased prices are emotional and we all wish that the supply/ demand tension would ease. Todays market is certainly tough. We have always priced our vehicles based on current market conditions. For many years, that meant that the majority of our vehicles were steeply discounted off MSRP. Today, that means that some vehicles, based on supply, are over MSRP. The vehicle in question is in extremely high demand and therefore does sell for well above MSRP.Additionally, preowned vehicles are purchased at current market prices. In most instances, less than MSRP of a new vehicle, but, due to demand of some models, it may be more.We are sorry our offer to order a similar truck for MSRP was not acceptable. However, please let us know if we can help you in any other way.

**** may let you do business this way but you should not take advantage of customers this way and to prove not all dealerships do business this way I purchased the same truck at sticker price. Customers beware

I bought a nicely equipped used pickup from these folks. As others have posted, they insisted I had to pay $595 because they couldnt sell it without a second key and $400 for a LoJack because it was already installed. I suspect the previous owner turned the car in with two keys and they threw one in the trash purely so they could demand I buy an overpriced key fob. OEM key fobs are available for lots less than 595. As far as the LoJack goes, it doesnt work because I suspect it was never installed. Enjoy the $1100 Grapevine Ford because its the last dollar **** will ever see from me. If you choose to buy from this dishonest dealer know that this scam is coming.

We are sorry that the customer feels we are dishonest as we hold ourselves to a high standard of integrity and will not accept anything less. With regards to the customers vehicle, it was traded in by the previous owner with only one (1) key we never received the 2nd key. With all our Pre-Owned vehicles, the 2nd key is optional we do not require anyone to purchase it. If a 2nd key is cut, that is by the request of the customer. With regards to LoJack, we contacted our LoJack rep to make sure the customer had access to the app on his phone. The rep checked and responded later that LoJack had been fixed and the customer would be able to view his vehicle on the app. One of our sales managers then attempted to contact the customer to let him know that his LoJack app should be working and he should be able to view his vehicle. However, since he was unable to reach the customer directly, he left the customer a message with the information. As always, we welcome the customer to contact our management team with any issues or questions.

Absolutely horrible. We were interested in an Explorer Hybrid. We were in dire straights. Our vehicle was totaled. They said the vehicle was currently out on loan and we could purchase it when we it got back. We called multiple times a day for 6 days. Grapevine sold the vehicle to another customer without contacting us first. Also, they are taking advantage of customers due to the chip shortage. They are marking vehicles up 20k over sticker price. Avoid at all costs.

We are sorry that the vehicle in which the customer was interested was not available for sale at the time they were prepared to purchase it. In order to hold/reserve a vehicle for a customer, our policy is to secure an agreement/deposit for that vehicle. The customer chose not to reserve the vehicle, so we were not able to hold it when another customer wanted to purchase it, sight unseen. With regards to pricing, we have always priced our vehicles based on current market conditions and thus, continue to do so now.

Bought a used car at the end of 2022 and it has had several issues. ******************* leaking, error code that the service department had it for three weeks and told me I was driving it in 4 wheel drive to cause the code, which I was not. I followed up with the service advisor with pictures proving it was not in 4 wheel drive and he stopped responding. They did a paint touch up that is bumpy. Its now back in the shop for the valve box to be replaced. It should be illegal to sell cars with issues Ive dealt with and has been in the shop now four weeks in the 6 months Ive had it. Once they sell the car there is no follow up from service after I picked my car up.

We are sorry that you have experienced several issues with your pre-owned vehicle. All our vehicles are thoroughly inspected by our ************************* and must pass both State and Grapevine Ford Lincolns stringent requirements before being made available for sale. Unfortunately, we never know if/when issues may occur with a vehicle. Therefore, we are willing to continue to work with you to resolve the concerns.

That was part of the problem, your service manager never returned any of my texts or screen shots of the error still coming on. That is why I am leaving this review because you are not willing to help resolve it. We left messages and was told wed receive call backs and never did.
