May 2021 - vinyl flooring installed July 2021 through June 2022 6 sections replaced September 2022 every room had failed joints, entire planks October - February 2023 filed warranty claim failed joints everywhere, warranty void since faulty installation, higher certified inspector since Granite Tile went silent attorney sent demand 5/23 Granite reached out and agreed to replace flooring, new 1/4 round paint and paint baseboards (call was with *****) 6/23 flooring job took approx 2 1/2 weeks. Project manager told us several times would schedule painters, trim work and has now said job is done. One owner texted saying painters would be scheduled to paint the wall area and finish the job 7/23 We have been told job is done. This damage and incomplete work include : 1. Granite and **** took out the trim under the door casings and did not replace. Instead caulked which has gaps, not painted, uneven and a mess. Prior to Granite we paid a ********* to cut and install speciality wood to finish the door thresholds for a nice clean look. Granite workers tossed the majority of these pieces 2. 1/4 around island lightly painted, can still see the plain wood and does not match. There are rub marks from workers rubbing off the floor level splatter and now these spots are light color with paint finish rubbed off 3. Baseboards taken off in breakfast area were put back however not finished being caulked and painted 4. Several measuring marks on the flooring and on baseboards 5. ***** have hand prints from workers, Granite attempted to rub off with a magic eraser which took off some of the prints but took the paint sheen away. Still have hand marks not addressed 6. Office 1/4 round not caulked or painted Beyond frustrated and already out $975.00 for inspection fees, attorney fees and now left with all unfinished and damaged work. We did not ask for cleaning fees or duct work cleaning (which is a norm when grinding of an entire first floor of a house) from a solid day of grinding floors which left a mess that I am still trying to clean, have not asked for our dishwasher door to be replaced from the crew moving out and replacing bending the lower left corner. All we are asking for is the Granite and Tile to fix the damage and unfinished work outlined with numbers above. This is more than fair and Granite and Tile has been uncooperative. Our house was freshly painted prior to Granite and Tile coming into replace the flooring. Thank you
