      The number for corporate is out of service. My unit has been 85 degrees for 3 months. Im active duty and pay 1500 for an apartment I can't live in. I'm tired

      I moved out of The Links in Jacksonville 3 months ago, and it was a dump! I moved in sight unseen, because if I had, I wouldn't have moved there. I had roaches crawling out of the light sockets and squirrels living in the walls, It was like living in a horror house. I was very sick the entire time we lived there. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer for me to sue them for the adverse health effects I suffered while living there?

      Motto sb Live it Leave it (ASAP) I left my upscale apartment thinking Venterra in Orange Park could be comparable was I WRONG !! It took almost a month and my attorney’s involved to get all 4 pages of identified issues partially (if that much) resolved from bugs to dirty breezeways, smelly water and a not so pleasant “courtesy”/ regional manager ( the more titles the less fitting for the job this person had) . Don’t waste your money or time with Venterra Orange Park as of this review I am still waiting on their corporate office who motto includes honesty, integrity and excellence represented in their lotus flower logo to be demonstrated! Never received a call back, email, snail mail or even carrier pigeon in response! I moved my things out having paid movers to move me in and out again having only spent 6 hrs in the apartment due to the overwhelming smell and bugs . Venterra failed to accommodate a new move in date so I paid rent to my previous complex to end of my lease due to Venterra’s firm move in date just to attempt to move in to Venterra and get an apartment was dirty, smelled, and had many areas in disrepair… and no mailbox keys !!! My new apartment is clean, and the staff upkeeps the apartments and surrounding areas. My suggestion to staff at Venterra Orange Park before you try to bluff to your tenants about getting an attorney make sure they don’t already have one ( Mr Basart)!!!!

      This company is unscrupulous. I leased with my husband and was deliberately lied to about the apartment were were getting. Once we were walked over to the apartment on move in day, we immediately let them know that we were in the incorrect unit and this was not the unit that we were promised. They then told us that a 12 month lease for the unit we were originally told we were leasing would be a $20 upcharge. We said that is fine and we will just deal with it. Then, we walked back to the leasing office where we were then told it would be a $300 dollar upcharge instead of what they originally said a few moments before. So, of course we asked to back out of the lease and receive a full refund. We were lied to. We were told we would receive a full refund, because we were only in the apartment for 10 minutes and they apologized to us for ruining everything. I then see that they kept the $400 pet deposit. I reached out to the property manager, Troy, and he said we would get it back. Once we got the pet deposit back, there was still $70 missing from what we paid. I emailed Troy and he said they are prorated charges that still apply. WHat charges? We were in this unit for less than 10 minutes and it's all because of mistakes made by the dishonest staff at Highpark by Venterra in Cypress.THIS IS DISGUSTING. They ruined our move in and made us have to scramble to find another place to live. On top of this, they told us we would receive a full refund and now they keep trying to find ways to steal our money after giving us the worst day ever. This is not how you treat people. I've lived at Cortland and Greystar. They would never treat an innocent person this way. Venterra's character is absolutely disgusting. I want my money back. It is shameful to rob honest, hardworking individuals after you made horrific mistakes that cost them money. Highpark by Venterra should be ashamed. I will never seek to live with a Venterra property again.

      Dishonest and lacks integrity. Charges out of the security deposit for typical wear and tear & expects tenants not to challenge the charges. This included repainting the apartment & “high trafficked areas in the carpets”. They charge $120 specifically for cleaning, yet they pay significantly less for the cleaning service. Refuse to supply a list of damages despite my repeated asking. They charged for a “pet treatment” for an assistance animal (this fee would have been paid for by the “pet fees” within the lease) to cover pet cleaning aka pet fur aka more standard wear and tear. Absolutely unwilling to speak with me directly about it. Refuse to speak with me on the phone (I’ve called many many times despite their various responses to my reviews that they’d “love to talk”). Then pick up the phone and call me back! Or answer my calls to begin with! They also accidentally forwarded an email to me of them talking badly about me. The apartment was dirty, amenities were falling apart, the elevators and garages were non-operational. Homeless people living in the stairwells. Truly a business that lacks class & integrity.

      Last five years have had a negative mark on my credit report, because Venterra filed to a collection agency fraudulent and bogus and fabricated fees , when it was mutually agreed all fees were current and all issues satisfied. Upon conclusion of the collection issue I will be sending a letter of demand to satisfy the damages incurred by them to me and hence a law suit!

      @Boulevard at Lakeside Property: Hidden charges at move-out (under carpets) 1.) They will charge you $283 for carpet replacement. 2.) You cannot dispute it. 3.) They will not show you what the underside of the carpet looks like before you move-in. 4.) They will not check your apartment with you when you move out. 5.) They will say carpet damage was from you even if you have never had a pet in the apartment. Story below: I lived here for 1 year. I was charged $283 after I moved out for carpet replacement. There is no way, as a tenant, I would pull back the carpets to check and see if they had any stains on them upon moving in or moving out. I had no way to dispute this either. I do not own any pets nor ever brought an animal into my apartment. Boulevard at Lakeside pulls back the carpets and checks under the carpet for stains. One manager said it was pet damage, and the other did not. The stains at the top of the picture would be below where the headboard of my bed was. It appears to be pet damage since there are multiple stains all concentrated in the same area. Once again, I never had a pet in there nor spilled anything in that room. They claimed they had pictures of pet food inside and outside my apartment but failed to attach such photos. When I moved out, I asked the managers if one if them could walk through the apartment with me to make sure it looked alright. They both said that was not necessary, and I would just be charged a $45 carpet cleaning fee. Instead, I was charged $283 for carpet replacement for damage I do not believe I caused. The minimum average life of a carpet is 3 years. I lived there one year.

      I moved into Valencia Westchase on 04/01/2021 from day one I had to call maintenance twice a week to recharge my a/c unit. They replaced it and that didn't fix the issue a/c had to be charged 2 time a month throughout the whole lease term. The washing machine ruined my clothes on several occasions and per management there was nothing they can do. I asked to have it replaced and was turned down. Drier would squeal while in use the whole term. Parking is already a nightmare in the community management had a mulch company come in and fill parking spots with mulch therefore taking up what little parking we did have for a week. Came outside one night to find my car on a tow truck that cost me $65 to drop. Management once again did nothing. prior to moving gave my 60 day notice and forwarding address. countless times in the office to make sure there wouldn't be an issue. Moved out 03/31/2022 to date I have not received my security deposit. It is now 06/24/2022 just about the 90 day mark. I call to meat with manager never returns my call and hides behind his employees that are by now so embarrassed to even face me with no resolve. there was never a claim filed against my deposit. after numerous attempts via phone and in person no resolve. You call and leave a message for a return call, it gets marked as completed in the system with no call back or even an attempt to make things right. After reviewing my ledger the manager put down that I moved out 04/02/2022 trying to charge me two days prorate costing me about $300 from my deposit. Countless times I've been in the office and leaving messages to get this issue rectified and I've been ghosted all together. Called the Houston office to try and escalate this issue and was told that the Florida area was under a different region and that they would transfer the message to the appropriate person in charge of that region. (NOTHING!)The level of customer service is in the gutter. Management is a joke. Next Step FILE A LAWSUIT!!!

      I have lived here for 12 months. Was literally a dream tenant. Never late. Never a service request. I needed to extend passed the lease for a few weeks, not only are they trying to charge me DOUBLE but the service by management at the Links by Windsor Parke is disgusting. They treat you like a criminal. They are running the property to the ground. They treat you like a $ amount, not respectfully at all. Worse experience of my life. Waste of $.
