1 starStarted off with great rates, but because of some financial difficulties we had to set up a payment plan with our local electric company. Tomorrow energy immediately threatened to close our account after it fell only one month behind. I called and explained our situation and they said they don't accept payment plans, which tells me that they really don't care about their customers and only want to make that almighty dollar. I actually went on their site and paid the past due. They called me and said it was unacceptable because the money had to go through my local company. They refunded the money and still threatened cancellation, but would waive the early cancellation fee (which they did and I am grateful). Finally, when our outstanding balance was only $13 and change, they cancelled us. This company may have some low electrical rates, but their customer service is lacking. This sales representative came to my door talking about how it was just setting up a rewards program that my whole apartment complex was getting signed up for, I told him I was new to OH did not know how these things worked and that I didn’t want anything to change to make sure he was not signing me up for anything I did not understand. He assured me nothing would change with my electricity business, that I would just receive emails with rewards. It was not until A YEAR plus, I had a hiccup with *** about my billing and that is the only reason why I found out that Tomorrow Energy was charging me something at all,*** representative explained to me who they were and what they do. I immediately called Tomorrow Energy because that was something I did not know was happening. When the first representative I spoke to from Tomorrow Energy tried to confirm my phone number, it wasn’t even mine or the name they gave me had MY last name but it was clearly not me, it was someone else’s first name that I DO NOT recognize. I immediately canceled services and a case was opened, however their resolution was that it was a valid enrollment since “the person” they spoke to gave authorization, which was they fake name with my last name, and even tho I informed them there is no such person they did not care or were even concerned that this employee is doing this SCAMS, taking advantage of people, I understand I received a service at the end of the day but it was a service that I DID NOT want nor did I AUTHORIZE. They gave me $48 dollars as a credit for my bill, and said that they had other clients they had to attend to, and they will add me to the DO NOT NOCK LIST. Still in shock I tried to emphasize my concern of how someone can just come to your house use a fake name and phone number to enroll you an authorize a service you are not even aware you are being enrolled and CHARGED for! But they don’t seem to take these things seriously as they claim they do! Beware of this company!Tomorrow Energy

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! ?????????????I thought it was a scam!!!?????????????????????. I’m calling now! Dude came by yesterday. Fake consumers energy jkt. He also had a consumer energy bill on his clip broad. Wasted 30 mins of my time, talking fast about saving money! This company I’m sure they are aware of this. What a ****** job!!!Tomorrow Energy

Scammer came to my door and pretended to be a member of my energy company and tricked me into signing a contract. Do not trust these people, if anyone comes to your door do not sign anything. I am going to look into reporting this company to the authorities for misrepresentation.Tomorrow Energy

1 starScam, came to my door saying they were sent by DTE to let me know they were there because they sent me letters saying their rate was cheaper than the company I had, asked to see my bill. So last night at 7pm, I got a knock at the door. A person named Broderick ****** from Tomorrow Energy said he was conducting a government audit of energy bills and demanded to see my apartment gas and electric bills here in Pittsburgh. It is quite plainly posted that solicitation is banned by the owners of my apartment complex. When I said Gee, no thanks, he became argumentative and said Tomorrow Energy would send someone else. I got his photo and ID information and let him know I’d call the police if I ever found him on the property again.Tomorrow Energy

This people are SCAMMERS!!!! They came to my apt ! Bills under my name ! They knock on the door and my mom lives with me which she don’t know any English they got her and now they charging me 1,500 with out my consent !!! Taking advantage of my poor mother thinking they were Elizabeth town gas !!! Are u serious u want to take peoples money just like that ! I’m getting ready to get a lawyer !!! The rep that came to my door said I would be saving money. On the contrary my bill has went up drastically and now that I have canceled them I still owe them almost 300 dollars. They can not explain to me why my bill has went up so much nor why I still owe them money. They are a total scam.Tomorrow Energy

The electric account was enrolled on a 4-month term, and the gas account on a 12-month term that offered fixed-rates. In regards to your electric account, our records show that two renewal notices were sent to you on July 6 and July 19, 2023, before the expiration of the fixed-rate term. Regarding your cancellation request, our records confirm that you contacted us on February 19, 2024, requesting to cancel both services. Tomorrow Energy promptly initiated outbound drop transactions to your utilities in response to your request. As of today, your electric account ended on February 19, 2024, and the gas account ended on March 16, 2024. Charged us triple than our normal energy company. During our contract with them they switched between 3 energy providers without our consent or any notification. They have been claiming they're with our area energy company asking to see our bill this company is running a scam.
