Scam, came to my door saying they were sent by DTE to let me know they were there because they sent me letters saying their rate was cheaper than the company I had, asked to see my bill. Showed me DTE rate and said that I was paying alot more with the supplier I had and he was here to switch me to DTE, LIARS!!!!!!!, I was switched to tomorrow energy and am paying 2.5 times more than DTE.Review from Mad M

So last night at 7pm, I got a knock at the door. A person named Broderick ****** from Tomorrow Energy said he was conducting a government audit of energy bills and demanded to see my apartment gas and electric bills here in Pittsburgh. It is quite plainly posted that solicitation is banned by the owners of my apartment complex. When I said Gee, no thanks, he became argumentative and said Tomorrow Energy would send someone else. I got his photo and ID information and let him know I’d call the police if I ever found him on the property again.Tomorrow Energy Response

This people are SCAMMERS!!!! They came to my apt ! Bills under my name ! They knock on the door and my mom lives with me which she don’t know any English they got her and now they charging me 1,500 with out my consent !!! Taking advantage of my poor mother thinking they were Elizabeth town gas !!! Are u serious u want to take peoples money just like that ! I’m getting ready to get a lawyer !!! The rep that came to my door said I would be saving money. On the contrary my bill has went up drastically and now that I have canceled them I still owe them almost 300 dollars. They can not explain to me why my bill has went up so much nor why I still owe them money. They are a total scam.Tomorrow Energy Response

Our records show that you enrolled your electric and gas accounts with Tomorrow Energy on April 7, 2023. The electric account was enrolled on a 4-month term, and the gas account on a 12-month term that offered fixed-rates. In regards to your electric account, our records show that two renewal notices were sent to you on July 6 and July 19, 2023, before the expiration of the fixed-rate term. Regarding your cancellation request, our records confirm that you contacted us on February 19, 2024, requesting to cancel both services. Tomorrow Energy promptly initiated outbound drop transactions to your utilities in response to your request. As of today, your electric account ended on February 19, 2024, and the gas account ended on March 16, 2024. Charged us triple than our normal energy company. During our contract with them they switched between 3 energy providers without our consent or any notification. They have been claiming they're with our area energy company asking to see our bill this company is running a scam. Upon reviewing your account, we found that you were enrolled in a 24-month plan that offered a fixed rate of $0.2109/kWh, with an expiration date set for September 2024.Most recently, you contacted us and requested the early cancellation of your fixed-rate term to return to your local utility. Our customer care agent successfully processed your cancellation request and waived the early termination fee as a courtesy. Your account with Tomorrow Energy terminated effectively on February 16, 2024. My contract ended while I was in Antartica for 2 months. My contract rate was 11.24cents per kwh. Upon my return, my account went to month to month at which point they billed me 23.34cents per kwh. No where in the contract does it say this. There should be racketeering laws applied to this practice.Tomorrow Energy Response

We understand your frustration and apologize for any inconvenience you experienced regarding the transition of your account from your contracted rate to the month-to-month rate upon your return from Antarctica. Tomorrow Energy’s Terms of Service provide as follows: “A contract-expiration notice will be sent to you at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of your contract term. If you fail to take action to ensure the continued receipt of retail energy service upon the contract’s expiration, you will automatically continue to be served by Tomorrow Energy pursuant to a variable-rate product on a month-to-month basis unless you select another product or retail energy supplier.” Upon reviewing your account, we found that two renewal notices were sent to you on November 2, 2023, and November 14, 2023, prior to the expiration of your contract on January 5, 2024. These notices were intended to inform you about the upcoming changes to your rate and provide you with the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments to your plan. Please note that per your cancelation request, your electric account with Tomorrow Energy has successfully terminated effectively on January 26, 2024, and your services have been returned to your local utility. A door to door salesman came to my door yesterday 01/08/2024 around 6:00 PM EST (conveniently right as the customer service center for my energy company was closing) informing me of the increasing rates of electricity, asking if Ive watched any news articles about this. He said I was already paying for this service so they just need to update my information and made it very unclear that he was working for a competing energy company. He was very persistent and made me do everything in front of him and although I willing showed my bill, I felt like I had to. He then had someone call to confirm the enrollment and made me lie saying he let the property and told me to keep saying yes. I messed up the first time and so he had to enter my info again and I had to do the confirmation call all over again. After he left I almost immediately realized what actually happened. He gave me his personal number, so I called him to cancel this and he almost immediately got argumentative with me and almost refused to give me the phone number of a manager after I could tell talking to him was going no where, which I believe he gave me a fake number anyways. I am 99% my apartment building is a "no solicitation" community, so I am astounded that this company even had the courage to come to my door.Review from Logan M

Bad training to their sellers never say what they are doing they pretend to be peco workers, in the end they tell you that the electricity you sign here is very high so that they go down, which they make you a contract, today December 23 it happened to me and now I am seeing how I cancel the contract I already sent emails I tried to call but it says that they are already closedTomorrow Energy Response

I’m just noticing that my electric bill is being charged from Tomorrow Energy and I have never given my info to this company, I was wondering why my bill was getting high and I see that I was getting double charged. Per our records, you requested to cancel the service with Tomorrow Energy on December 27, 2023. Your cancellation request has been processed and has been accepted by your local utility with the account termination date set for January 2, 2024.
