      I purchased bed in the start furniture outlet. I know it will have imperfections or damage, but when I got it home and tried to install it, the center beam is shorter and lower than sideboard, which means that the bed itself is broken. I can accept normal damage but not the broken bed. when I purchased the bed, the bed was covered by the mattress and slats, and I was not able to see whats under those things. I totally do not expect that this would happen. and their customer team basically told me to fix it myself or throw it away. shouldn't they be responsible for fix this issue? the staff in their store clearly knows the center beam issue but they did not tell me. they watched me to purchased this damaged bed and cost about $1000.

      They won’t let us return our brand new items!!! We purchased a couch and love seat set. Once they were delivered, we discovered that they DO NOT work with our house or color schemes!! These people will NOT even allow us to return them; even though nothing we signed says that all sales are final and they are brand spanking new with the tags on!! We are beyond frustrated. They didn’t even offer a store credit for something else!!!

      Horrible is the best description! We have been trying to resolve an issue with some bedroom furniture we bought right before Thanksgiving. The dresser wood is flaking on the drawer and top of the dresser and one of the night stands. I’ve contacted customer care who told me to send pictures. Which we did. Response was to be 24-48 hours…going on 2 weeks now. When I contact them, NO response. When I went to the store to discuss, they turned me away and said only customer care could resolve. What a way to treat your customers! Oh yeah, we also paid for the 5-year furniture protection!!! Not sure what the good that is for if they won’t respond or acknowledge receipt or issues. Stay away from buying from them! Never have had an issue with other furniture; Crate & Barrel, Gallery Furniture, Arhaus. If any issues with their product, it’s resolved quickly. Extremely disappointed in such a short period of time!

      Do NOT buy from this company they are crooks and do not honor what they say. After 4 deliveries of defective wooden tabletops, they refused to refund our money so they offered us a $300 refund if we would agree to keep the last one since it was the least damaged of the 4 tops. 6 weeks later no refund, no response to email requests and now even their corporate customer service department is not answering calls. Such a rip-off. The first delivery driver told us that they had a customer who had 6 different tabletops delivered before they got one that wasn't damaged. Guess we should have kept letting them deliver tops until we got a decent one - now we are stuck with a defective top and received no compensation for keeping it. Deplorable behavior from a supposed "reputable" retailer. Never again.

      Beware of this company! Decent furniture and friendly sales staff, but in paying my bill 2 months early to avoid interest, I entered my bank account number incorrectly. They charged me $42.90 for a 'returned debit', without the courtesy of a phone call. I am a good and loyal customer, but when I called their customer care department, I was told this was sent to collections (only 3 days later!) and I should talk to the collections department. Of course, the collections department was out till Jan 8th, so I called the store and talked to the manager. He said I could come in on Jan 8th and he would help me call by dialing the number for me but he could not influence them to do anything about it. I thanked him and said I could dial the number myself. He only added insult to injury! Yes, it was my error, but a longstanding and loyal customer should receive the courtesy of a phone call before taking collections action, which could damage my credit score! No more business from me!

      Awful service. We have waited over a year for what is supposed to be an easy fix for our insured furniture. It makes me furious month after month when they say they will fix it and don't. I will never buy anything from Star Furniture again. Save your money!

      Very bad customer service and poor quality furniture they suppose to credit my delivery fee after I switch to leather, because first living room was really poor quality had defects its been over three weeks that they deliver my furniture and nothing. First and last time buying from this store. Furniture is not good quality do not go by the looks. The sales person was really nice but everyone else do not want to be bother with complaints and we cannot go in the web site to see our credits.I really regret purchasing from this store.

      DO NOT BUY FROM STAR FURNITURE! Originally we purchased 2 oversize chairs in 2011. They have been very good chairs but now the seat cushions need to be replaced. I remember when we bought them they had tried selling us their warranty pkg but we opted out as the chairs and ottomons totaled nearly 5 thousand dollars! I felt confident that we would not have any issues replacing the foam in the cushions as they portray themselves as high end. Store.1.5 months ago I started trying to replace the cushions and got a huge run around from the San Antonio store. Receptionist is extremely rude and obnoxious. I was referred to Houston. They took about 3 weeks to let me know they have the foam replacements based on our original order number but it could take up to 120 days to receive. These cost 200.00 each plus shipping. I agreed. I received 1 cushion about a week later. Of coarse it's the wrong size about 8 inches. Too short. I went to cancel and they told me the one I already received I could not get my money back and they will look into the one on back order due in Oct to see if they can return my money. Do not be fooled by these folks. Their furniture may look nice but the rest is all smoke and mirrors. I don't know how they can keep the doors open. I will never buy from them again!

      Do not buy at star Have had my reclining loveseat and reclining chair two years and the underside of the loveseat the material has ripped and the foam is falling to the floor, and the leather is peeling. I bought the 5 year warranty but its considered wear and tear, so it's not covered. REALLY! I live alone and the furniture is only two years old. I would have been better off purchasing my furniture from *******, they would stood by their warranty purchase DO NOT BUY FROM STAR

      We purchased a recliner from Star Furniture for my husband who was having his knee and hip replaced. He was able to elevate his knee after it was replaced but then the chair stopped reclining. Contacted Star Customer Service and 1 month later they sent a tech from a company called AHD to repair. He was not successful and stated it was the remote and needed to be replaced. We didn't understand that as the remote did have power. So the merry go round with Star began in earnest. The chair stopped reclining in January and we will now be going into June. AHD sent another repair person out and he was supposed to have the new remote and of course he didn't. A couple of weeks later on 4/11/23 another person shows up with a remote and you can guess.... it's not the remote. Now its the motor according to him. Supposedly the parts were ordered the same day. Star customer service in Houston has given me the run around stating it takes from 2 weeks to 3 months for the manufacturer to ship parts. I contacted the actual manufacturer of the recliner and they stated they always ship within 3 days of receiving a request and that they shipped our parts on 4/20/23 by UPS. The repairman also stated he will have to pretty much destroy the back of the recliner to make the repair. I called Star customer service again on 5/24/23 and was told they had not received the parts that Southern Motion had sent them and that it would take 3 months for Star to receive the parts. At this point and after all the suffering my elderly Vietnam Veteran husband has had to endure at the hands of Star Furniture they should just replace the defective recliner that we paid cash up front for. What do all of you Think!
