However, I was later told an additional $50 was required to expedite state filing, a detail not disclosed on their website. Furthermore, an unauthorized charge of $544 was made, which was not confirmed by me prior to the transaction.Upon attempting to cancel due to these undisclosed fees, I was informed that only $109 would be refunded, with $299 kept as a cancellation fee usable only as store credit. We apologize for any confusion. Part of our Premium package is the same-day filing, in which we submit your filing for the state's approval, which does not include the approval timeframe from the state.
However, the chosen state will determine whether it is current or behind its approval time frame after the order is placed, and it will also be determined if the state offers an express option by then.
We understand your concern with the additional services that have been opted for. As this was offered during check-out, it will be our customer's discretion to include it with the order, as the cost of the selected additional services has been indicated as well.

Our company filed an late ****** election and paid $99 for the filing fee. However, upon review of the documents, the information that the portal generated either 1) empty or 2) incorrect fields. The sales team assured us that the portal flow was the same for the ****** and late S-Corp election filing but within the portal, there were no initial boxes to check in order to differentiate the filing. So I continued to fill out fields thinking that I would encounter the late S-Corp election fields. After completion of the introductory sections, my status read "under review". I received email confirmation of my payment and assumed that I would receive email notifications for next steps (which I did not). A week later, I went into the portal and saw that I needed to fill out a questionnaire. Again, I assumed the questionnaire would provide the opportunity to have the form filled out to our needs and correctly. After completion of the questionnaire, I received an email with the form with 1) incorrect automated information 2) missing information. I called 5 times in one day (2 times the call was disconnected before I was connected to a live person) and spoke to 3 individuals explaining that their "filing and p***aration services" did not meet our needs, as I was the one who had to 1) review 2) correct 3) call to correct THEIR MISTAKES and that their portal doesn't offer the services that their sales team purports to provide. I then asked for a full refund and they explained that since they already sent "instructions" on how to independently submit this form tot he IRS, then they cannot refund us. However, since they conflated the steps of sending the online document for review WITH their instructions, it does not fairly allow the customer time to review, approve or contest the services. Each service *** denied us our full refund which we are completely entitled to since they do not "p***are" the document, I DO. We continue to request a refund for $99.Business Response

I was charged $199 on June 10th. I was refunded $50 as I cancelled part of the service. I called and spoke to someone and confirmed that I would like to cancel the entire service. The agent I spoke with told me that they would be refunding the additional $149 that I'm owed. I received an invoice from them showing a refund of $149, and an email from them stating that my refund of $149 is being processed. I never received the refund, so I disputed it through my bank. The dispute was settled in their favor because Swyft Filings lied and said they didn't owe me anything. I contacted them on September 4th explaining that they do owe me $149, and I provided proof. They, they started that they never actually charged me, so they don't owe me anything. That is irrefutably incorrect - it posted to my bank account and they also gave me a partial refund of $50, why would they refund me if they never charged me? Now, they're stating that I had a past due balance in 2023 for the amount of $149 so that's why they are not refunding me. They provided an invoice showing a refunded amount of $149 - that should have been the end of the story. None of this is adding up, and they continually change their story. I am owed money for services they are canceled. They lie to me over and over again.Business Response

We apologize for any confusion with the billing history of your account. We see the two charges on June 10th of this year from your account you mention which were for $199 and $149. We can confirm that the $149 was voided and was never collected.We also see that $50 was refunded out of the $199 charge when you called us on June 10th of this year. Then, according to our phone records, they show you agreed to have the $149 be applied towards the past due invoice on your account for the registered agent service.
But you then issued the Chargeback you mentioned at the end of July for that $149 you agreed to have settle some of the Past Due owed. Then recently on September 4th when you called again, we refunded the remaining $149 of that transaction we won as part of that dispute.
So according to our records, we have settled these transactions and returned the funds you disputed. We do understand this is a lot of information and would be happy review these transactions on your account with you again to make sure everything is clear.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received in connection with the Premium Package I purchased on July 22, 2024. Your website clearly states that this package includes a 1-year website and domain package through your partnership with *******, access to over 250 customizable legal and business documents, and trademark services for a name, slogan, or logo. However, my experience has been far from what was promised, and I feel misled and scammed by the information provided on your website.Before purchasing, I called to clarify the details of the Premium Package, specifically inquiring about the website and domain services. I was assured that I would receive a website and domain through *******, with no mention of additional fees or requirements. Furthermore, I was told that once I paid for the Premium Package, I would receive emails with instructions on setting everything up, including the legal forms and trademark services.However, after waiting a week and not receiving the promised emails, I called again on August 6, 2024. I was instructed to contact ******* directly, only to find out that the "free" services you advertised were not free at all. ******* informed me that I could only receive a domain for a year if I purchased a website from them. Additionally, when I called the number provided for trademark services, the representative had no idea what I was talking about. To date, I have still not received any emails regarding the legal forms.This situation is unacceptable. I have tried endlessly to get this company to stop auto billing my credit card each month for $149. They have responded that they have canceled this from previous complaints but never did. I filed for 3 LLC's and while they stopped one they are still billing for others. They have charged me at least $3000 for services not rendered as I transferred my LLC's a couple years ago. To clarify, all services and subscriptions added to your order are chosen and approved before purchase of the order itself. If you wish to opt out or decline a service, the option is presented before confirming the purchase and can also be cancelled before we file your business with the state.
To address the concern about the Registered Agent subscription, a registered agent is required in all states in order to file your business and stay compliant with the state. While the business owner is welcome to represent themselves or appoint a third party, during checkout, it was selected by choice that our third party service would provide the registered agent service. Until this is changed with the state to yourself or someone else of your choosing, we reserve the right to continue charging the subscription price agreed to during the checkout process.

Began charging $149 quarterly for an annual service when I signed up for only $149 a year, did not request my permission for the increase it happened automatically. Have been charged an additional $99/year to submit annual filings to keep my business active, they have charged me for the previous 3 years but only filed the first year - now my business registration is expired in the state and it wasn't until I got the mailed notice from the state that I was informed there was any lapse.Business Response

We understand that a price change on the subscription for the registered agent may not have been expected, but when the billing frequency was originally scheduled to be changed, there was an email sent out before the change happened.
In our Terms of Service, we do disclose that we have the right "at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time." If you are interested in changing the registered agent with the state, we can assist with that or you can do so directly with the state. From there, we will be able to cancel the Registered Agent subscription that was selected during the checkout process when the order was originally placed.
Regarding the $99 charge, this service was chosen during the checkout process which pays the Swyft Filings fee for us to file your annual report. We send reminders via email to notify the customer that they will need to log in and confirm the information we are to submit to the state before filing and pay any state fees required at that time. If this is not submitted, we will not file as the customer has not confirmed the information needed to file.

I paid Swyft $200 to get me advertisements in newspapers informing people of the establishment of ******. They neglected to inform me that this is only an initial fee and that advertising my LLC would cost a further $850. They refunded me the $850 but refused to refund me my initial $200, insisting on providing me with a credit instead. With no other choice I accepted the credit but I am seeking a full refund. They claimed that they provided a service by "calling newspapers to see how much the ads would cost." This is not true. During the checkout process, the $200 fee paid to Swyft Filings for publication is the internal payment that Swyft Filings keeps for the work done during the process. At the time of checkout, the publication process is not started yet as there may be a rejection to the business filing which could change the business address or matters pertaining to the publication of the business once filed.
We try to find the most affordable options for publication within your county or state and do not always move forward with the same newspaper depending on pricing. Unfortunately, your county is a newspaper fee of $850 and this entire payment goes to the newspaper itself. Swyft does not keep any of these fees as the entire amount is required to publish. We have refunded that fee back to you as requested and cancelled the publication service.
The $200 fee is withheld as a credit as our publication department has already gone ahead and done the work to get your business ready to publish and found the pricing that would be appropriate to your business. On about June 7th, I paid Swift filings online to submit an application for LLC status for my business. They charged me a reasonable fee plus the amount for the filing in *************. They got in touch about a week later and said it was filed and it eventually went through. No problem. About a week after that without any warning at all, they charged my card for some other services that they offered which I never asked for Few weeks after that they again charged for some more services I never asked for. I absolutely never went on to their site and asked for these services. I don't even know what they are. I have contacted them several times to get a refund and they are trying to tell me that they can only give a refund if they have a phone conversation with me and I can't get in touch with them. I set up a non-profit in the state of ***** in 2021. When it was established there was an error in the name and since it had been established I needed to change the registered state. I came back to Swyft filings to make the changes and couldn't find what I needed with ease. So I thought the easy resolution would be to dissolve the initial non-profit and establish a new one. On Jan 15th, 2024 I established two new non-profits. I then saw where I could amend the initial one so I opted to do that as well. I made two payments of $25 and $69 to establish and amend. On Feb 19th I received a charge on my credit card for $149. When I logged in to check my account I was locked out and there was a message that I had a past due of $199. I called to see why I was told it was a subscription I opted into for the new non-profit. I let them know that I had opted out of all of that including Swyft Filings being my registered agent. They however set it up that way anyway and initially refused to refund my money. They ended up refunding the $149 and said once that was cancelled and process they would change the registered agent and drop the $199 charge. To date they still have not done so and I still do not have access to ANY of my filings or documents. I was told they can't do anything until I change it but I can't change anything at all. I have never dealt with such unprofessional systems in my life. I have made payments for services not rendered. I have been charged for services I did not ask for. And now I have no access to any of my accounts. Every argent makes promises and doesn't follow through, and I can't get access to speak with anyone outside of the initial person that answers the phone. I thought this company was reputable and fair, I am now left regretting my decision.Business Response

A new entity was filed in state of NY by Swyft filings, however they failed to provide full documents. I have not received any EIN and the company is refusing to take any responsibility. Without an EIN, I cannot do anything with this new entity. I paid them top dollar for this work but it was a complete waste of time and resources.Business Response

Taking a look at your account, we see that we successfully filed for your entity with the state and it was approved on 5/20/24. All documents were uploaded to your online account under the My Documents tab. From here, an EIN questionnaire was presented to answer and from that questionnaire, our EIN specialist submitted it to the ***. When submitting, we received error 101 which means that there is another business in the country registered with the same business name. This does not mean that you are unable to get an EIN but rather a form called the SS4 form would need to be submitted to the *** via fax or mail. This was explained to you during multiple phone calls with our **** and supervisor as seen from our notes.
Because there was a chargeback request sent from the card on file, we have refunded you back the full amount of the package that was paid for and blocked your account as this is our policy. A supervisor will reach out to you to go over your next steps in order to come to a resolution so that we are able to provide you and your business with the the information that you are searching for.
