1 starThis is most unprofessional group of people. My family was asked to pay full amount for the service. It was paid. Insurance paid 80% of the amount. They need to return this 80% amount. The date of service was December, 2023. Today, it is October 10, 2024. They have not refunded money. I placed calls 6 times. Every time hold time is ~30 minutes. They repeat the same answer every time that their back office is reviewing it. It takes 45 days for them to review each time. The issue was escalated several times and same answer is given. Not sure what can be done to get refund? I am not sure why Memorial Hermann is using them. It is not in patient control if this radiology company can be used or not.Review fromAmanda L

1 starI believe this company to be corrupt. I recently received a thyroid ultrasound at Memorial Hermann Imaging. I had done due diligence with Memorial Hermann to be sure that they were in network and that the procedure would be covered. 3 weeks later I receive a TEXT message from this company saying I owe them over $300. I never agreed to ANY service from these people. Why am I being billed by them? I understand that my doctor might have consented to having my imaging 'read' by them, but I didn't, I never signed anything, or agreed to any such arrangement. This is important because I pay a lot of money for insurance, I would NEVER ever go to a physician or testing facility that does not accept my insurance. I'm a fairly healthy middle aged woman, the fact that you would use these billing practices on elderly and horribly SICK individuals makes me furious.Review fromSahadat A

1 starI got a CT scan a Memorial Hermann on January 20th 2024 and was given a paper to expect to pay Synergy Radiology a $69.06 bill if I called with 15 days after my exam. I called Synergy on the 26th, I spoke with an incompetent associate for about 20 mimutes trying to pay this bill without success. The associate had me giving my information so many times that I wondered if he couldnt spell, type or had some sort of problem receiving information. Finally he claimed there was no amount listed with my account so I couldnt pay. On the 3rd of February, I called, they were closed, then I received a bill for $696.00. I called them on Monday 5th to pay and refused to pay almost $700 for a service that ******** ******* told me would cost apprix $70. So the associate told me my new bill would be $95. I refused to pay $95 since I had been advised in writing that my bill would be $69.06. The associate eventually told me to pay $64. This is bizzare, this company tried to make me pay $699 for a service they knew they could accept $64. I also complained to the associate that in the past, I uses to pay $25 for the radiologist to read my imaging. This company should not have the license and liberty to prey on vulnerable public. Such a shame!Review fromRobert W

1 starOn Nov. 11, I fell and had a concussion. While in the **** emergency room (no memory of it), they did 3 CT scans. Synergy sent me a bill for $1,760 dollars a few days later. There's no record of them contacting my ******** Mgt. provider nor my family doctor. So, I went to **** NW/Heights and simply walked in to get the CD and summary (on my signature release & ID). So far, I'm sure they and Singleton Ass. PA haven't done anything, yet I'll end up in collections for their bill. Today I'm looking into some resource that will put a legal end to this.Review fromLiz B

1 starI've had a terrible experience so far with Synergy Radiology Associates. After an ER visit to ******** ******* *** ********* Hospital for an asthma attack during which I was given a chest x-ray, I received EOBs and settled bills with my insurance ****** for the ER visit. Months later I received a $139 bill from Synergy for radiologic interpretation (no itemization or explanation of charges whatsoever on the bill or online about what I was being billed for). There was no evidence that they had ever billed my insurance. I tried to go online to get more information and it said there was no payment due. Weeks later I received the same bill, went online, and it said that $139 was due. I tried calling Synergy several times to get more information and to make sure they had billed my insurance, but gave up each time after extended hold times. I tried emailing them to get more information and to request an itemized invoice, twice, 3 months ago and 2 weeks ago and never got a response to either. I eventually paid the bill because Synergy is impossible to reach and I didn't want the bill to go to collections. I tried submitting the claim to ******, but they would not accept it without an itemized bill, which I cannot get since I cannot reach anyone at Synergy Radiology Associates. They have been an absolute nightmare to work with.Review fromDonald G

1 starMy wife had a catscan and we received a a large bill fron this company for the procedure claiming that this was a procedure we were not enrolled for. I called and gave them my insurance data and received another bill for over $600. Called my insurance company and all charges had been paid and Synergy has NEVER submitted any bill. This is simply a SCAM organization who will never get a penny from me. Avoid them at all cost.Review fromKhang P

I paid $1,383 for my wife's MRI bill to the Houston Woman's Hospital on 12/28/2022. Went to the MRI on 01/05/23. They didn't say a thing about extra fees. Yet, today I received a bill $169.20 for that MRI. They didn't explain or itemize anything about the extra fees.Synergy Radiology Associates

Please know every visit involves both physician and hospital resources. Your Synergy bill is for the radiologist’s professional assessment of your imaging. The hospital or imaging center may send you a separate bill for the technical services provided at their location.

1 starThis billing company is the most painful one I've ever had to work with. I am continually being billed for an amount that I have proven was paid by my HRA. I have spoken with them 4 times over the phone and 2 times over email about this issue. After each communication, they put the bill on hold and reassure me that it will be resolved after they investigate. And 1 month later, I'll receive the bill again, and then need to contact them again. This issue began in July and I am still working on it in December. Stay far away from this terrible company.Review fromFrancisco T

1 starI had services performed on 06/26/21. I have never missed a payment rather less been reported to collections for any company. I found it odd that I received a collections letter almost a year later on 06/06/22 in the amount of $50.22. Never once did I get a statement from the company. I called the collections agency to be provided contact info for the creditor and they stated they could not provide. In looking at reviews with *** and ****** I do not understand why this company is allowed to continue to negatively impact individuals due to their lack of courtesy and follow through. It is the same story over and over. The collections agency is just as bad. Terrible customer service and very rude. I asked to be given the opportunity to pay this amount and to be immediately have the collections report deleted off of my file and they stated I would have to go through the collections agency. Why? They are the ones who reported me without ever advising me of a bill that was due. Unfair practices from a bad company .Review fromJeni M

1 starI received a notice of collection for $19.49 from Synergy Radiology. I find it strange that you go to their website and/or call they ask if you are calling from an attorneys office. Obviously, they have issues enough to warrant attorneys getting involved. I have no problem paying a $19 bill if I had ever gotten one and know who this is or if I had this service. I've left messages for them to call me back and hopefully will get a call today. Not sure why they thought they had to go this route instead of just sending me a bill. JLM
