    Beware of Gillman Subaru of North Houston. These people lie to you. I bought a brand new 2024 Forester there May 15, 2024 paying cash. To this date, I have not received my registration or license plates. I've been pulled over with a verbal warning for expired paper tags. They will not return my calls or emails. I'm supposed to have 6 free oil changes as well. Let's see if that happens

    Team Gillman Subaru North 18202 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77090 Subaru dealer We are writing a review to warn others of the deceitful services and nature of this company. We have called directly to be notified the main HR representative was on leave until next week. Then was transferred to the owner who did not answer. Our events started July 2, 2024. We arrived at Gillman Honda of North Houston. To inquire about a 2017 Subaru Forester. We were notified it was at a different location 3 miles away, Gillman Subaru of North Houston. Upon arrival we viewed and test drove the Subaru Forester while our Cadillac XTS was being inspected for trade-in. We were then notified of our trade-in value at the amount of $1,000. Handing us the Carfax deeming it a “total loss vehicle” however reviewing the title of our vehicle says nothing about the car being “total loss” and is shown as a clean title. We also followed up with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles searching the VIN. Deeming it a clean title car. Most perplexed is the following day we were messaged saying there was a possibility to received $3,000 for our trade-in to have been told only $1,000 to increase to $3,000 in less than 24 hours. However we are most disturbed by the comment made by one of your representatives “We are lucky to have been offered $1,000 I wouldn’t have given you $500” this is troubling fact as we have been warned time and time of dealership’s deceitful and shifty business dealings. Only to witness it ourselves, especially towards a young couple with children seeing us as “naive” and a way for extra pocket change. To also belittle our vehicle we have worked hard to obtain and undervalue our vehicle so lowly while Kelley Blue Book’s trade-in value is $4,400-$6,700 “Customer satisfaction is our highest priority and our staff is committed to achieving this goal in every aspect of our business” quote via Gillman Subaru website this however was not prevalent in the actions of your representatives.

    I purchased two vehicles from here back in October 2022. The initial interaction with the salesperson was pleasant. However, after just a few days, I started noticing issues with the cars. When I tried to reach out to the dealership, they just gave me the runaround every single time. I would call and ask for someone to contact me so I could resolve my issues, but nobody would ever call me back. Then I would get transferred to a line to speak to someone about the issues, and I would never get an answer, even after leaving a message. I even went to the dealership on two separate occasions, and I was told by the salesman and the sales manager that they did not have anyone available to help me. I was even told that they wouldn't do anything for me anyway because I purchased the cars "as is." The night I purchased the cars, I was told I would have all the paperwork emailed to me, and to this day, I have not received it. I feel like I'm stuck with two defective cars that I am paying for, and they just wiped their hands clean of any responsibility. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any dealership. It's incredibly frustrating. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The fact that it has been over 6 months and I have not been helped a single time is completely unacceptable and I am incredibly disappointed with this experience.
