I had an experience quite some time ago, taking my niece for a “free” giveaway session. After the photos, they take you into a room and play a video for you of the photos edited with background music to tug at your heartstrings. They show all of the cool options you can get for the photos, and wait until the very end to tell you it’s a $500 credit and that covers literally nothing at all. You still need to spend at least $900. This has happened to so many others and obviously targets low income parents who just want to have something beautiful for their kiddos. I have paid probably around $500 and got a new card and they have not made contact to inquire about my photos and follow up on payment. It was so disheartening and disappointing and false advertising. Boise is still a small town, it is a shame they continue to do this to good hearted Boiseans.

Dozens of follow up phone calls, after expressing no interest. So here's what I did. I blocked every phone number beginning with 561-916-18

I would give this scam of a business 0 stars if I could. They give you a free photo session making you deposit $100 to secure a spot promising you a refund at the end of your session. We have yet received our refund and are not able to reach anyone at the business. It is a scam.

They donated two vouchers to our church's silent auction, one of which my mother purchased for $60. The company contacted the church later and demanded $100 each for the vouchers which had been donated. My mother gave the voucher back to the church and told them to just return it and keep her bid. It's a real scum move to charge money for a donation after the fact. They also do fake "giveaways" where they say they'll give your child a free photography session, only to charge insanely high prices ($1000+ for a single photograph, plus another $100 if you want a digital file of the one you buy). Steer clear of them.

Hello Joshua, thank you for taking the time to respond. We donated a certificate to the church (meaning we incur all cost assosciated with it). This is to assist the church in raising money for their event. The church (like all other charities we donate to) are made aware that all studio policies are in effect including the fully refundable holding deposit that we charge to ensure that clients come to their appointment (we have a fully staffed studio waiting for them). This is returned to you as long as you show up. The certificate also includes a portrait - again, that we cover the cost for 100%. You are not obligated to purchase more. Our packages for larger portraits range, but there are many options under $1000. I hope this clears some things up for you.

My 5yr old was chosen by the studio for a free full experience photo shoot. they reached out & said they would love to have her. They ask me to send a fully refundable $100 deposit and told me the funds would be released the day of the shoot. The policy they have on their website supports this. I was told to follow the link that was sent to me via text to book the appointment and to pay the deposit. I followed the directions & immediately got an email of a recorded video made by the owner supporting the details that were explained to me in my contract. She further explain how the experience would go and that I would not have to pay for anything and that all I needed to do was bring my daughter happy. When the time of the appointment came around due the sudden death of my Grandmother, I sent my mother in my place to support my daughter my Mother arrive on time but the contract that the studio and I agreed had changed they requested over $3000 for the photos that my daughter had taken & they kept my deposit. My daughter is heartbroken that she will never receive the photos. She worked so hard for & I now have to file a civil suit for the funds that are owed to me all of this in a middle of grieving, the very new loss of my grandmother do not come to the studio do business with them they do not practice good business morals save yourself, the stress and headache. Trying to get the manager on the phone is impossible. I’ve requested to speak to the manager on several different occasions I’ve asked for of policy and all I am met with is a condescending assistant, who gaslights me with comments like, her understanding the death of my grandmother because her friend lost her mother years ago and that she had to deal with it BUT that I still have to come up with over $3000 for the pics and they aren’t giving my deposit back and even gone as far as asking me for permission for them to call my mother to ask for her credit card number so that she can cover the bill

I see on your account that you had a complimentary session and complimentary portrait gifted to you - again, completely free of any charge.  I am sorry that we are unable to give more away for free.  You were not required to purchase anything additional (as you know, because you did not) and still receive your gift.  We fulfilled exactly what we promised - a free session and portrait (to which the studio incurs great cost to produce).  Again, I am sorry that we are unable to give more away for free.  I will also review the recording of your session to see if additional training is required for our team.  Thank you for taking the time to respond.

First of, let me begin by saying that the whole experience is shady. I "won" a $500 experience there and 1 free picture was included with it. They have you put down a deposit of $100 to hold your spot there and they "will give it back" once you show up. We went there, the experience was good, they took some pictures of my daughter, they are literally on the clock 15 mins not a 1 minute more. After they have you wait for about 15 - 30 mins, you get to meet the advisor who talks you into buying thousdands of dollars pictures. To be exact $2700 for 3 pictures. Now mind you, I have asked this over the phone to know if I should go all the way over there or not. They keep pushing you away, not giving you an answer just so they can trick you into coming there. However, we didn't pay this crazy amount of money for pictures, instead they kept my security deposit of $100 to give me one picture. The advisor was frustrated at the end after us not purschasing anything and she said "that was a waste of time" while we were leaving the office. So in conclusion, you don't "win" anything, this is their way of scamming people into coming there so they can catch you at the end with these crazy prices!

Hello there, I do appreciate your feedback that you have left elsewhere as well. I also reached out to you sometime ago as the claims here are false. I reviewed our security footage and recordings and my staff member did not say this. You also received a completely free session and portrait and your deposit was returned the day of this session. Most of our sessions last 15-20 minutes as children do not enjoy being photographed beyond this window, we are experts at what we do and create the best work oftentimes in the first 10 minutes. I'm sorry that your experience wasn't to your standards, but again, these claims are false.

I won’t a drawing on ******** for a free photography session, a complementary 8x10 art piece, and a $500 gift certificate on top of that to use how I wanted. They had me pay a deposit of $100 that they said I would get back afterwards. The session was great but when I got to the “art director” she was extremely pushy and pushed to have me buy an art piece that was $4300! I told her I couldn’t afford it and she literally said “you couldn’t afford $100 payments?” It was ridiculous the way she spoke to me. She ended up putting the $500 towards the “complimentary” art piece and used my deposit for a digital copy. She didn’t even ask me, she just printed the receipt and basically pushed me out of the office because I was a waste of her time. This is a scam and I hope others don’t fall for it.

They don’t even deserve a whole star! Biggest Scam ever! They’re making people believe they’ve won a photo session and that a 99$ deposit is only to secure your spot because they’re busy studio!! When u get there 1. you’re told the deposit is NOT refundable it goes towards THE ONE PHOTO after the 500$ “prize money” so essentially you’re paying 600$ for a photo and 2. They’re ONLY busy with all the other unsuspecting people whom they have roped into coming with their scandalous advertisements. AND 3! any other photos you may want are a charge of $4500.00!!! I knew it would be a pricey deal but never did I dream it wud be this ridiculous. I tried to cancel my appt because I was NOT wasting my time with them, allowing my daughter to go thru all that photos only to find out she can only get one measly 8x10 and they refuse to refund my refundable deposit. Neither, could I justify a day off of work to go do this ridiculousness and they do not open on weekends, which is even more ridiculous because, who had kids this age and does not work during the week?? I am not at all surprised to see they do not have a good BBB rating.
