I called this plumber and told their tech that the full valve is likely messing up because the toilet is running, and he confirmed so. He went and got the part and I called him to ask him what was going on and what was the pricing, etc. He said that he’d need to change out a large piece. He told me the price and I asked him why was the price $225. He said because of the part. He never provided me with a receipt nor break down. The part was not large as it was only a full valve replaced. He said I was get a receipt but I Never did. I had to call their office multiple times before the assistant finally sent one. The receipt only list the total price. There is no breakdown in costs so I believe I was definitely over charged. The part was likely less than 30 dollars. So where is the rest of the money? On labor? Cannot be because he was literally in my bathroom for only 5 minutes so that cannot be $200 worth of labor. The assistant had the manager to call me and he was already on the defense! I asked him for transparency and to provide me with their probe list that the assistant said they go by or give me a breakdown in price because I need to know what I was charged for, he refused to do it. I want a breakdown of what the materials cost and the labor, by law I am owed that. I also want a refund of the difference of overpayment.
